Luxury hotel in downtown Solo. The decoration and ornaments in this hotel signify a high class

Stayed in February in room 514 for office events.
The lobby is nice, decorated with various artistic statues.
The rooms are spacious with parquet floors and classic and elegant furniture with traditional ornaments.
The twin bed is a bit hard, two comfortable pillows are provided for each bed.
The bathroom is also spacious, equipped with a bathtub and hot water. The water pressure is quite tight.
The breakfast is quite complete (pastries, various porridge, cakes, various processed eggs, chicken, fish, vegetables, salad bar, and various cereals, but in my opinion the quality can still be improved, especially for playing the coursework.
The drinks provided are also various, various juices, infused water, milk, and traditional herbal medicine.
The lunch is good, but unfortunately there is no chili sauce. The dinner was also delicious, unfortunately there was no tissue and the water ran out. Looks like the gathering service should be evaluated.
The toilets in the public areas are quite antique, because the sink has a pedal to draw out the tap water.
In general, it is quite pleasant to stay at this hotel, especially since its location is quite strategic in the middle of Solo.

I think the hotel is more worthy of a 3.75 star review. The building is grand, filled with Indonesian ornaments, statues, instruments (and check out the amazing mask collection on the mezzanine), the rooms are large, foyer is inviting, and staff are capable at doing their job, responding to problems very quickly.

But what let's it down are things that you would expect as a given. Nobody eats in the restaurant outside of breakfast probably because the menu isn't all that exciting. The air-conditioning is very loud and the walls are paper thin. Expect to hear conversations next door and children running up and down the hall ways. The shower is very old and in need of updating. The safe in the cupboard is not fixed, so can be picked up which is a little odd.
