I think the hotel is more worthy of a 3.75 star review. The building is grand, filled with Indonesian ornaments, statues, instruments (and check out the amazing mask collection on the mezzanine), the rooms are large, foyer is inviting, and staff are capable at doing their job, responding to problems very quickly.

But what let's it down are things that you would expect as a given. Nobody eats in the restaurant outside of breakfast probably because the menu isn't all that exciting. The air-conditioning is very loud and the walls are paper thin. Expect to hear conversations next door and children running up and down the hall ways. The shower is very old and in need of updating. The safe in the cupboard is not fixed, so can be picked up which is a little odd.

A bit of refinement needed.
