Top service and top cocktails in a wonderful ambiance
Nice hotel and staff with little care. Well located
Absolutely beautiful and elegant hotel with impeccable service. Very loud in room able to hear other room door constantly slam shut
Every time I am here it is a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful interior, to experience the excellent ambiance and to enjoy the nice drinks. Proper service and I experience it every time as a small party when I am there.
For tourists, it may be one of the best hotels in Amsterdam. Mainly the hotel has well preserved many traditional buildings, carefully converted into hotels, and connected in the atrium with gardens and transparent corridors, creating a very comfortable and bright public space.
The hotel is also satisfactory in the details; from the attached breakfast meal; the choice of utensils; the flowers, are very hard. The hotel also offers a century-old boat for a one-and-a-half-hour canal tour. The boat is so beautiful, and everyone will take pictures of you.
The price is expensive; but I think the hotel does pay attention. If you want a one-night luxury Amsterdam experience, this hotel won't let you down.
The location is great, you are basically at the heart of the old town; at the same time not affected by the red light district
Wonderful hotel, very helpful concierge and great location.
The interior is a stunning blend of traditional and modern Amsterdam. The service was impeccable was the food. I ordered a cheeseburger and now I trust to order more exquisite dishes since I know they can deliver when it comes to the basics. I will definitely be returning one day!
Without a doubt an absolute must. Service was provided to perfection and you will be pampered. And you notice that from the start:
You park directly in front of the hotel, after which an employee will immediately welcome you with a smile and take care of your luggage and your car. They do the rest and make sure the vehicle is safely parked. Paper signs and pass when they can return the car. In the meantime we were able to check in quickly and the nice interior of the hotel was explained. After this we were escorted to our room and we get a quick explanation about how the phone works, the USB ports, refrigerator, safe, thermostat etc.
Room was perfectly fine. Cleaned really clean. The dusty seat and the decorative pillow that came with it were also pure. The bed was wonderful and the view over the canals of Amsterdam was very cozy.
Thanks to all the hotel staff for a very nice stay!
What a great cocktail bar experience.
From first walking in to the plush surroundings, the well dressed staff and the slick as bar and seating setup.
Extensive menu that highlights a few twists on classics, but also a measure of their own or two.
The team are enthusiastic, and ready to look after those looking for more than just beer and wine.
Purely 5 stars for years, porters could leave the choice of taxi to customers without difficulty.
If you have the money this is the place to stay, best location, best service, amazing bar
Calm area of Amsterdam. The staff is welcoming, but since every room is different in that hotel, you can come across a room that could either be as described on the website or difficult to access and fairly small and dim.
Very neat hotel with great Amsterdam atmosphere. Great design, very friendly employees and COVID-19 rules are well kept. The indoor gardens are beautiful for breakfast.
Excellent service - very friendly. Beautiful setting and excellent location on the canal
Last night from 19:30 to 22:15 in the waiting area of the coctail bar. The only smile we saw was on entering the bartender, unfortunately not from the other employees. What a deception.
Wonderful hotel. Ideally located with a short walk to the major sites. Staff is excellent and attention the detail separates them from other hotels. Wife and I really enjoyed our time there. The canel cruise was much fun.
Steep prices. Nice beer and bitterballen. Service ok.
You must have seen this unique phenomenon. A hotel that consists of 25 contiguous seventeenth and eighteenth-century canal houses in various streets of Amsterdam.
A cute little place split level only 10 table lovely service thank you Michael and Dennis.
Dutch style pancakes oh wow !!
So fresh they melt in your mouth !! And if you can get a table food comes very quickly.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly. We loved hanging out in bar in the evening.
Amazing space, room and breakfast. No crackers on Christmas day for lunch though and no turkey option!
Beautifully set up. A room with a view of the canal is a must !
Short stay in Pullitzer, top from start to finish. Good reception, good Corona measures with mouth masks, good food and drinks. Room is very nice, pleasantly large. Boat trip also made, super nice, nice captain. Definitely worth the money.
Very happy with the service and attention to detail the staff provided. The location is ideal being close to the Anne Frank House and walking distance to many areas. This will be our place to stay when we visit again!
Great service from a hotel with real character and yes, that's a piano suspended from the ceiling!
Superb cocktail bar. Friendly and attentive staff. Based on the Great Gatsby cocktails with a story!
I stayed in this hotel on Easter 2018, and it turned out for me, and for my family, an unforgettable experience. The rooms are beautiful and take up the typical Dutch style, the view near the reception in here there is the possibility of consuming small meals and drinks is the most beautiful veranda I have ever seen, and of excellent quality are where the breakfast, and the place where the drinks made in front of professionals are consumed.
Much of the original layout is preserved, so winding and maze-like hallways are common. Very unique in that sense. I had a nice view of one of two canals that front the property. Staff is extremely helpful. Very nicely located with access to trams and easy walking distance to everything in the heart of Amsterdam.
By far my favorite hotel in the entire world. Great sevice, quirky, exceptional staff, great location. The entire vibe is just fantastic.
The original menu and the choice of cocktails alone deserves a visit there. Besides that, the place itself is cozy and comfortable, and the service level is high.
The Prinsengracht concert was again very successful
This is our favorite home away from home. Excellent, charming, and cozy.
The most friendly and always smiling staff I've been to so far understands poor English and offers good food and atmosphere. It was my first visit to Amsterdam and it has the biggest share of what makes Amsterdam a good place. It is a bit pricey but I don't think it is expensive compared to internal services. And the cost of internal services (meal or other facilities) is not expensive. I have more pictures but I haven't moved them yet so I only attach this picture
I checked out the picture of the heating equipment in the picture below and sat in the garden alone, but when the staff turned on quietly and went out, it turned off automatically.
I went to photography this Amsterdam.
I really wanted to shoot here.
Very nice hotel. Very unique staff is friendly, and are within walking distance of a lot of good restaurants
Always good to be here. Staff is always friendly and down to earth. Good and simple menu. Interior is super cool and typical Dutch. Perfect place for short meetings!
Very nice hotel where service is of paramount importance.
I love this hotel so much. Its beautifully designed with just the lovely little details really well located and the staff and service are just impeccable. Every time I stay here it's just been an amazing experience.
I'm always happy to come back!
5 Sterne
Kein Zimmer gleicht dem anderen
Gezellig plek! Wonderful restaurant, food always so well prepared and the Pulitzer Bar is amazing.
An absolutely stunning hotel made out of a number of connected buildings and houses. We're told it is one of the best hotels in Amsterdam (by locals and others alike) and we can't disagree. It's beautiful and in an amazing location for touring this fine city.
Lovely hotel. Great location. French press in every room!
Well made cocktails and friendly staff. Quite expensive and not a huge range of cocktails to pick from.
What a wonderful stay. The hotel itself oozes character and charm. Our king room was a nice size and was well lit thanks to the courtyard. The decor was swanky, loved the bar tools. The location was fantastic. An easy walk to most attractions and if not, transit was nearby. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great day in Amsterdam with the most beautiful tower in the world, the old Wester
I ve been staying at The Pulitzer since March 2018, with my last checkout being merely two days ago, and the impeccable standard of service never ceases to amaze, as it manages to remain true to itself over and over again.
An amazing hotel, the staff is extremely kind, the atmosphere and attention to detail is amazing, the included bar and restaurant are both very good establishments in their own right and the location is amazing. You are sat right on the 9 streets some of the best and safest streets in Amsterdam you are also only a few minutes from most museums and only a minute from the frank house. Highly recommend.
Advantages
-Pretty hotel
-Good location
-Friendly staff. It's cold, so it brings you a hot fan
-40 euros canal cruise tour, expensive and expensive compared to other places
-Recommended restaurants and bars in the hotel
-Llabo Amenity
Disadvantages
-Narrow rooms
-Not very clean
Occasionally, forget about supplements such as cotton.
-The top floor is too loud to fall on the roof when it rains
Showed up on the day before and they said they were fully booked. They didn t not offer any help for me to find. New hotel. I prepaid 500 for this hotel. I am so disappointed they could not. Why would they have me wait for 15 minutes about the pricing adjustment if there was no room available.
My Mother and I travelled from Australia in September for both of our Birthdays. From the very beginning we were amazed with the service and hospitality we were shown. A beautiful flower and balloon arrangement was placed in the room upon our arrival. The staff were absolutely terrific throughout our stay. The property is quirky and brilliantly located along the canal. We will definitely stay here again. 5 star at it's very best!
Top experience in one of the most special and best hotels of Amsterdam. The Service experience is as good as the location and facilities!
Fantastic place, a unique spot how the house are connected to a hotel
Possibly some of the best bartenders in the city, they need your appreciation.
Very nice rooms. The check in process was pretty painfully slow, and it's very tourist heavy, but can't complain too much otherwise.
Stayed at the Pulitzer for four nights. The location is perfect. Centrally located but not in the crazy busy areas. Charming layout that combines two dozen old homes into one hotel. Many rooms have canal views. Ours had a view of their lovely garden courtyard. Breakfast is fabulous. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of the 9 Streets area. Very stylish with attentive and helpful staff. Great breakfast and a cosy bar. The ground floor socialising areas are very inviting and spacious. Would thoroughly recommend.
Amazing. Literally everything. Amazing. Concierge. Location. Rooms. Service. Tours. Canal boat. All amazing.
Interesting hotel located not far away from Centrum. The room in the building I stayed existed since 1650. Good services.
Only stay here if you want a cold dirty room and no customer service. very disappointed
Verbluffend hotel!
