Everything about this amazing hotel was out of bounds! The hotel is set within twenty-five restored 17th and 18th century houses that once set the scene for prosperous business deals between trade merchants and played home to the decadent and flamboyant lives of Dutch aristocrats.
Food was yummazing, staff incredible & such attention to detail...one could very easily miss something! Will definitely stay here again!

Inside and outside a world of difference. I never thought it would look so beautiful and luxurious. Everything nicely finished and in place. You can really see that a lot of attention is paid to make the customer as good as possible. For those who want to spend the night in Amsterdam, this is really recommended.

What a great surprise!

What a great surprise!
Ideally placed in Amsterdam, Pullitzer hotel benefits from a superb building joining several houses and an internal garden. The deco is of excellent taste and the rooms nicely decorated.
The breakfast is delicious and the concierge service provided us excellent recommendations for diner. Highly recommend for short stay in the city

Excellent service and atmosphere in the restaurant. I like the healthy options on the menu (you can order fresh avocado on the side) Great location in Amsterdam city center at the canals. In summer the green sunny terrace is open. Also good for business meetings.

We had a fabulous stay at the pulitzer in October ...

We had a fabulous stay at the pulitzer in October 2016 which was a good enough stay to want to return however We were due to go to the pulitzer again this coming to celebrate our daughters graduation.. Very sadly and very suddenly my father is dyeing and we are now unable to travel. I now find myself very shocked at the pulitzer s inability to relax their cancellation rules in this situation. The full charge for the whole 3 night duration paid in advance has been forfeited. A very significant sum to us given their room rates. I was not expecting a full refund but I did think that given the circumstances and as previous customers there might have been an offer to transfer the booking to a later date. After all, with a weeks notice at this popular time in Amsterdam I am sure the room will be rebooked and the company will more than double their profit. I might add that all other companies involved in our itinerary in Amsterdam were contacted in relation to our difficult situation and without fail, they all understandingly refunded our bookings and arrangements. Such a human perspective on this was very appreciated and it was only the pulitzer that refused point blank to do anything. They were also called by our booking agent to reconsider and again refused.
We have referred many people in the direction of this hotel since our first stay. I can say with certainty that after being treated in this way we will never again be staying there and never again be recommending them to anyone. I am thoroughly disappointed. Rules are rules but intelligent companies who have respect for their customers sometimes know that to adjust them in certain circumstances makes for a better longer term decision.

I ate here three nights in a row. In general the food was nice, the dining rooms were well lit, the decoration was nice and the staff was very friendly. However, the price a bit too expensive given that the food served was pretty average and came in tiny portions. Moreover the sweet potato side I ordered was so massively undercooked that I could barely stick my fork in them and had to eventually send them back to the kitchen.

This hotel was amazing! The Pulitzer staff was professional and courteous. The Pulitzer bar had great music that kept us entertained while the drinks flowed. Loved the view of the canal from my bedroom window. The staff was the greatest asset. I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

High Class hotel in the best location of Amsterdam.
The place is beautiful and huge, with a bar, a small brasserie, a top restaurant.
The original room were not accessible by my grand-mother due to numerous stairs. The staff noticed and managed to find another room with more accessibility.
They also managed to provide them assistance in French.
Always a pleasure.

Excellent view and location. Staff is very polite. Food is great. Need to climb stairs up and down for access to few rooms. Also, top floor rooms might have few low height areas that you need to watch our for before getting the room allocated

Luxury hotel renovated in 2016. Conveniently located in the canal belt. Impeccable service with adequate prices for high standing. Available to rent bicycles (16 competitive price) and cruise on the renovated hotel's electric boat (duration 1 h and 15 to 39 drinks not included) expensive but exclusive.

My wife and I are here at the moment, and this hotel is everything that we had hoped it would be and more. I've been to Amsterdam many times and have stayed almost everywhere and the Pulitzer is the best by far.

We liked our stay at the Pulitzer! The hotel is in a great location that is convenient to everything. It is really nice inside. We had a large room that faced the canal. Our room was stylish and the bathroom was updated. We ate at the cafe and had drinks at the bar and both were good. We would stay here again.

Visited this charming hotel in a perfect location about seven years ago. We had such as great experience, we booked a second vacation in the same hotel. Definitely worth the experience. Also, we loved the waffle cookie the Pulitzer left on the pillow daily. Lastly, the location is ideal for quiet walks but just a few blocks from shopping, eating, and transportation.

Beautiful stunning hotel in gorgeous canal houses. They have a lovely cafe and boat. Staff is exceptional. We only wandered through but hope to enjoy staying there one day. The garden in the back is so peaceful right in the middle of the city.

One of the nicest hotels in Amsterdam. The Pulitzer is in an ideal location within walking distance of pretty much anything and everything. What really made it wonderful, however, was the exceptional service.

If we had a question about where to go, what to do, or what to eat we received only the best suggestions. Pulitzer Amsterdam made us feel comfortable and relaxed whenever we walked through the door.

We stayed two nights in the wonderful Pulitzerhotel. Upon arrival in the room there was a bottle of prosecco with balloons on it. We were celebrating my birthday. Very thoughtful. In the restaurant we got a delicious surprise menu from chef Pepijn. Brilliantly served by our waiter Kjeld. Our compliments to assistant manager Vincent and his team at restaurant Jansz. All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly. We have felt treated like VIPs. The room with a canal view made it complete. Pulitzer staff, thank you very much.
