Negative note to emphasize the staff on the floors entered my room twice in the afternoon while I was resting without knocking, which I honestly did not expect from a hotel of this level, otherwise very nice and elegant.

Perhaps the most famous large hotel in Milan, now part of the Arab-Saudi Dorchester chain. The top of solid and efficient luxury, with many beautiful rooms of various sizes, impeccable service, a selective gym with a swimming pool towards the sky, tea rooms, boutiques up to number, numerous event rooms (small, medium, large) with possibilities to organize contemporary lunches or dinners of even hundreds of people. The staff is of high quality, competence, courtesy. All majestically overlooking the vast and green Piazza della Repubblica, well served by public transport. Parking often arduous. The best jewel, separately accessible even to non-hotel guests, is the Acanto restaurant: among the best in Milan, in an elegant setting with open kitchen, a seasonal menu with dishes of extraordinary workmanship of the revisited Italian tradition (and capacity to supply kosher cuisine to traditionalist Jews), a wide and well-proposed cellar, excellent waiters, a serene atmosphere despite the scorn of many American customers. Prices are very high everywhere, sometimes too much.

Very luxurious. Attentive staff. Kitschy but its own style.
5 star prices taken a bit far. Coffee 10 Euro (Rest of Italy 1-3). Only a couple beers on offer (important to the German guest).
Great roof top (sheltered) pool and gym/sauna area, worth the visit!

One of the most famous hotels in Milan, unquestionably of the highest level and elegance! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The location is not exactly the best but in a moment you reach the center.

Elegant hotel. I went there for a corporate event, with dinner and overnight. Beautiful rooms equipped with all comforts. They use Aqua di Parma as samples for personal hygiene use. The hairdryer is the professional one and not attached to the wall. The spa pool is not very large.

Lovely, stylish hotel with very friendly staff. It's about a 20 minute walk into the centre of the city. Only minor complaint is that we had a 2nd floor room which was quite noisy if we opened the window, and stuffy if we didn't.

Of course the place is great and it's considered one of the best in the city. However it's not my preferred style, I really like modern minimalist design, so this is not the right place for my taste, but can't objectively complain on the quality. Service is really great.
