As an employee, you are treated worse like a dog with lies that a manager of the hotel who, at a higher hand, will lie about 3 meters away from us. I think the state of affairs in this hotel really can't be sure it will NEVER sleep here because even though I can pay it as you deal with as staff they also do as a customer I think.

A special lunch experience at the Okura.
Very hospitable with a lot of attention for the special requirements of my pregnant daughter and the allergy of my other daughter. The food was sublime. One of the ladies who brought the food was so enthusiastic and proud of being called food that you naturally become very curious about what you are going to get.

This hotel is out of this world. The rooms and communal areas were immaculate and the service from the staff was exceptional.

We were staying over New Year on the Japanese New Year's package. All of the events were excellently organised and the food was stunning. The buffet dinner on NYE was well-stocked and well-replenished with free-flowing wine and beer. The special New Year's Day breakfast was also wonderful and was held in the Michelin-starred restaurant, Yamazoto. It was lovely to see the ladies in their traditional dresses too.

The pool area is very relaxing and was cleaned to a high standard.

I was also very impressed by the concierge and reception staff who were always on hand to help and said "anything is possible" when we had any queries.

In terms of location, it is possibly slightly far from the town centre for some people to walk (although we enjoyed the walk) but there are excellent transport links very close by (3 minute walk to tram stop and 8 minute walk to metro station).

I would whole-heartedly recommend this beautiful hotel for any length of stay!

Visited for a two-day conference. You would at least expect such a top hotel to have delicious coffee. That was a bit disappointing, was lukewarm! The lunch buffet during the afternoon was also somewhat sparse.

Hotel very very nice (family holiday, 3 children). Impeccable home, delicious breakfast and spacious room. Pool and perfect SPA. A little out of the way but you only need 15 minutes by taxi or 20/25 by tram to reach the center. To recommend without problem.

My wife and I stayed at the Ocura for an extended stay for a Viking River Cruise. We arrived early morning so our room was not available. They took care of storing our lougage and giving us a lay of the local area we could explore until our room was ready. We came back at 1pm after lunch at a local spot and everthing was ready. They are very accomodating, the view from our room was amazing, the breakfast buffet they serve is one of the best I have had. Close to the no.12 tram it is very easy to go anywhere in Amsterdam from here. Their inhouse restaurants are all Michelan star quality. Highly recommend the Ocura for your next stay in Amsterdam.

This was one of the best hotels I stayed in, if I could give it 6 stars. Wonderful executive room, lounge & SPA included, good location (not central, but OK) and very friendly and competent staff. When I return to Amsterdam, I will come back here for sure.

Free update to a suite. Thank you. Room well beautiful! Breakfast delicious. Conservatory restaurant, I personally find it a bit uncomfortable but tasty. Stayed for four nights. Downside but the hotel can not help ..... a group of American tourists arrived with a cruise ship, noisy guests in the hall, breakfast room, bar and fitness .... we were happy that they left after two nights . I love the bar!
