Upon arrival hotel checked us in and verbally verified the room we had booked online. As we were early we had to leave our bags in a checked area.

When we returned we were told we were checked into a twin room. This was quickly rectified however it was quite annoying as I had already checked in earlier to apparently the right room I had paid for. Further, our bags were in the wrong room that was booked so they needed to ask for the services of what I assumed to be a bellhop to transfer the bags to the correct room.

We waited about 30 minutes before goi g yo our newly assigned correct room, and the bellhop was still standing outside the room seemingly confused as to where to bring the luggage.

Within about 15 minutes, I realized one of my bags was still missing. I had to go downstairs to explain the issue as I was unsure of where my bag was.. and apparently so were they.

I eventually got my missing bag delivered to my room, but again this was quite a nuisance for a 5 star rated hotel.

On our third day at the hotel, our thermostat was stuck at a cozy 26 degrees Celsius unable to be switched to manual mode. We did not have an issue with these on our first two days however, after housekeeping cleaned our room our thermostat was surprisingly set to automatic mode without any ability to adjust. This made for quite an uncomfortable sleep.

The lobby is nice, and the room was spacious but beyond this I did not feel like it was a 5 star hotel or worth the money spent per nught.

This was a superb experience. We got a standard room facing north and the views were amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and the everything was spotless. You could hear planes fly by but it wasn t a huge problem. The breakfast is great quality and I wish we had reserved a spot in the Michelin Star restaurants they have on location. I wouldn t recommend the 23rd floor bar though, very tight space with a lot of old men and the pungent smell from the bathroom next door leaks easily into the bar :(

The rooms are amazing especially since the seif is large enough for laptops and your clothes can be ironed for a tax. Best features: the diverse breakfast, the pillow menu and the tubs in the bathrooms.

I stayed there the third time and it's getting better every stay. We've got the best upgrade ever as a Leaders Club Unlimited and One Harmony Member with a 270 view over Amsterdam. The staff members are always very helpful and Kind. You can enjoy a japanese breakfast, or nearly everything else. My favourite part there is the cinnamon butter, I've never eaten anywhere else before, deliciouse. The only minus at breakfast is, that there's no daylight. You can rent a bike for 18,50 for 24 hours and the bikes quality is much higher, than at the local bike rental stations. I would come back every time.

Great if you attend to anything at RAI convention center.

To reach RAI from the hotel, just walk and you pass a lively street with a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, small shops to bring a toy back home.
