Hotel Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport Review

The check in line was too long. The first check in told us that the room was not ready. We had to wait another 15 minutes. The second time we queued for 20 minutes!! It was really too much. This is not the standard a five-star hotel should have! (Although it is not a five-star hotel)
After entering the room, I found that there was a problem with the TV. I called the housekeeping department. The housekeeping department said that it would send someone to deal with it. ? I waited for ten minutes and saw no one at all. Isn t the guest s time time?
Manpower arrangements are obviously insufficient. The counter is responsible for answering calls and on-site passengers. On holidays, staff responsible for wiring can be arranged. Don t delay the time for on-site passengers!

The room is spacious and comfortable and can be a relaxing break.

Who give this hotel 5 stars?
Cheap, cheap everything cheap. Starting from hair dryer, soap, up to furniture and food.
Scanning your passport and taking 3000 deposit is also not friendly.

However, I mainly came to comment on the 6-inch cakes in the Huaxia process. When I made an appointment, there were only two flavors of chocolate and fruit (the actual name has been forgotten). I ordered the fruit, which is full of sweetness. The greasy cream was covered with whole cakes, and the whole family ate half of the cake for the first time and gave up. I am not used to wasting food, but it is really not my taste.

I only spent one night, but overall it was a good experience. Good room for two, clean and well equipped. Quick check in, but there were few guests at the moment. Close to airport and quick terminal access by shuttles I didn't like the lighting and soundproofing of neighboring rooms.

Location, if very early departure or late arrival - good. Breakfast is ok, european. The room was a bit "shabby", or rather a bathroom. For one night you can.

This stay is an administrative room of 7800 for one night. The price is not cheap, but the room does not see the number of pings on the website (not actually spacious), and the only two bottles of mineral water are also cheap Taishan. Mineral water, at the same time, does not indicate whether the water flowing out of the sink is suitable for drinking, and there is no indication of where to take the water, so that if the customer wants to brew coffee or brew hot tea, if the mineral water is used, no water is available. And the water stains of the coffee machine and the electric hot water bottle have not been cleaned for a long time.
According to my travel experience (both domestic and foreign), many affordable hotel hotels have hand soap holders (boxes) and disposable toilet seats to maintain the hygiene of customers. Unfortunately, this hotel is not as good as other hotels.
Outside the gym on the second floor, the lounge chairs placed in the public space of the swimming pool, in addition to the chaos and beauty, some have even been skewed (estimated to be faulty).
In addition to the supply of breakfast and counter staff still meet the standards, there is a lot of room for improvement.
I hope that your company can pay attention to the improvement of related issues. Since it is the first hotel in the country, it is necessary for foreign tourists to feel the service quality of Taiwan, and at the same time, it should also feel the state of returning home, rather than a consumer.

One point i don't really like from this hotel is the check-in process, it tooks a really long time for me to wait

Had a layover here... Room is adequate with usb ports for charging, clothes ironing equipment. But make sure to rinse the iron for rust. Toothbrush set available but doesn't have comb and shaver. Very convenient free shuttle service to and from airport. Be sure to catch the last train before 11pm if you are shopping late at Taipei.

The parking is convenient, the layout is elegant, the meal is delicious, and the coffee is delicious.

This is one of our favorite places to stay when flying into Taiwan. Comfortable, clean rooms a very nice restaurant, and one of the most extensive hot breakfast buffets that we have ever had at a hotel!

Very interesting hotel, buffet with Haagen-Dazs, low-key in the other cabinets, the dishes are quite satisfactory, the items are not too much. The meal rolls exchanged for points, if you pay at your own expense, you will not come to the special trip.

Had a lovely meal at the Chinese restaurant being looked after by the delightful Namuun who could not do enough for us. The food is excellent and the service is most certainly with a smile.

Nice and tidy, as all hotels should be. But the bathroom has no shower certain, every tea cup I used at the breakfast had some grease that floated on my tea and freaked me out every single times.

1. Children are not welcome:

We insisted on waiting. After five minutes, we stumbled and said that we had seats. It seems that we are not welcome.

2, reluctant to eat:
Open until 9:30PM, after we enter at 7:30PM, the dishes are not filled.
A lemon fish with only fish bones is heated to a dry plate and placed there.
Two PIZZA empty discs are still empty from 7:30 to 9:30.
But the PIZZA of Room Service is very active.
The other dishes are almost at the bottom or not, no one cares.
There is only one short-haired middle-aged smug-faced female executive who dangles under the genus.
But I think he seems to be quite used to those empty,
It seems that the training of your hotel staff is only limited to deaf people.

3, the taste is a lot of backwards, some things are very bad:
It is recommended that the hotel can thoroughly review the quality of the food.
I don't mention hot food, because the hot food in your restaurant is empty, I don't know where to start,
There is a dessert called Earl Grey, which is the most difficult thing I have ever eaten.
The practice of the pudding pudding is very different, and the whole plate is completely unmoved.
Even desserts can be made like this, the chef and the team don't know what to do.

4: Very unworthy price:
Our four adults spent 4,000 yuan for dinner, eating some curry artichokes with sushi and pig's feet.
I also enjoyed a pile of stinky faces wearing a pen-like uniform. It was really bad.

I am not the first time to stay, but this time I was really scared.

I have already stayed, and I have no crimes. I can let the unidentified people break into the hotel.

It is the first time I stay in the hotel and travel to Taiwan. The overall experience in this hotel is wonderful. When I arrived at the hotel, it was already 8pm. The staff of the hotel at the check in counter lead me to the club lounge for check in immediately. At the lounge, the staff told me to enjoy the snack and drinks while they processed the check in procedure (though the lounge had to be closed at the moment). That was great as I started feeling a bit hungry.
The room was comfortable with good soundproofing even the room faced both runways of the airport. I had good sleep throughout the entire stay. A welcome pack and a letter from the manager were on the desk when I opened the door. I loved the giant panda in my room. It made me warm and accompanied as I travelled alone. I hugged it many times during my stay. Moreover, the view was excellent for the aviation fans. I could see the landing and take-off of planes as well as taking photos of planes clearly. Just one thing to be criticized in the room is the lights in the bathroom can be a bit brighter. When I had shaving every morning, I needed to get close to the mirror.
The staff members were very friendly and helpful. They always wore a smiling face. They helped me to fix the problem of the sparkling light in my room and got me a basin for soaking my feet. They collected the empty plates immediately whenever I left the seat to get some food at the lounge.
The facilities in the hotel were also good. There was a big and well-equipped gym. Also, massage pools at the infoor swimming pool was great. I enjoyed staying there before I checked out.
However, the location of the hotel was far away from Taipei city. I needed to spent near an hour to get into the city even the MRT station was under the hotel.
Anyway, thank you Annie and Jessie as well as other staff members in the club lounge and the hotel. You gave me a very good experience in Taiwan. I hope I can stay in your hotel very soon.

My actual stay here was pretty good. I stayed overnight before I caught a flight back home. I had arranged a late checkout, which they told me would be no charge. I duly checked out, and checked at the desk that there was no charge, and caught my taxi to the airport. When I got home I noticed that they have charged me $81.00 for something, so I phoned them (from NZ) to ask what it was. After much discussion they agreed it was their mistake and that the money would be refunded to my account within 2 weeks. It is now well over 3 weeks and no refund. My message is: this is dishonest and is fraud. Easy for them to do, knowing the customer is in another country. I have never had a problem with the Novotel chain before, but be careful! I wouldn't stay here again.

It is very comfortable to go out on weekends, with complete facilities, swimming pool, gym, SPA (manina) and a bar with a wide view, a small and beautiful one for two meals (also convenient with Jijie)!

Highly recommend facial from Novotel spa. Exceptional service by Sarah and Manina. Well worth the experience.
