Hotel Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport Review

In the heart of the airport area. Very easy to reach from the airport either by shuttle or by train. Metro to get to the city at the entrance of the hotel. Efficient service.

Very bad, the bathroom can't stop the water, the water is all water, at least a shower curtain... There is glass blocking in front, there is no way to turn off the water, it is extremely difficult to help the child to bathe...
As a result, the toilet has made a door...!

The price is not proportional to the equipment, no color or exclusive hotel of China Airlines

The location is great for early morning flights. Shuttle service is available every 30 minutes. The rooms appear to be clean and look like a typical Novotel. The reason I am rating it so low is the bed. After all you are paying to sleep in a hotel primarily. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, very hard mattress. I slept poorly and it affected the review. Put a better mattress in and I would give it four stars.

I came down to get an early afternoon drink at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting two really attentive staff members. A nice shout out to Eric and Ofelia! I really appreciate your kindness and great service!

The train station just next door is so convenient. However, my room did not come with breakfast, that was the set back for the rate that the hotel charged.

Flown back to Taipei due to volcanic eruption in Manila, but the hotel took good care of us.

You can stay at the airport when the flight time is not clear. If you want to know what time you want to take the shuttle bus when checking in, you can go to the airport easily. Every 30 minutes.
It is easy to find and get out of the exit of Airport Hotel Station. Because it is originally from the airport, there is no air plane noise.

Treat elite members very well, including upgrade, lounge access and welcome drink.

Helpful staff, comfortable clean room, proximity to the airport--a good stay for a layover preceding an early morning flight.

It is felt that the tenants are very vulnerable to surveillance. The privacy rights have been violated and they are not able to get a reasonable reply. The hotel does not need to assume any legal responsibility. Really not OK

The hotel offered the convenience of being near the airport with a shuttle service, and it had a great buffet for dinner, but the poorly functioning thermostat or lack of insulation of the windows offered no comfort for relief from the hot, humid climate there. Sleep was nearly impossible with room temperature at 27-28 degrees, 26 upon awakening in the morning. When brining this to the attention of front desk staff, they said to wait until the sun set and there would be relief, but, as just described, there was none. My need for an early wake up for early morning flight prompted me to just let it slide as I didn't have time to make another call to request room change by the time I realized the permanence of the issue at 23:00.

Very nice hotel with wonderful and attentive staff. From check-in, exchanging money and checkout - everything was well organized. Breakfast had great variety in the restaurant. The suite was quite big and at the executive floor close to the lounge, which was nice to have a drink at the evening but the breakfast choices are limited, so I'd go the restaurant always unless you prefer the less busy setting and the great view from the lounge. The hotel offers a shuttle service to/from the airport. There is also a metro station right next to it to easily get into to City. The Metro only accepts cash (no credit cards).

It provides free-of-charge and hassle-free shuttle bus services to and back from the airport, which is excellent. Alternatively, you may also take the airport MRT at your own convenience.

The lobby is spacious and never crowded since it is the only airport hotel. Lack of amenities is expected though.

This was a layover hotel right at the airport and I was very happy with the service and accommodations.

Um...It's the worst hotel I've ever seen. If your political view is different from the Chinese Communist Party, the manager will report to the police, accuse you of illegal stay, and break into your room along with the policemen but lack of any search warrant. This hotel isn't even located in China. Beware not to choose this hotel if you want your human rights. Calling the customer service to complain? No way! They will continue to blacken you of everything you didn't do. They will tell you all the managers you want to talk to are in a meeting. NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL.

The barbecue smoke at the New Year s Eve dinner is so big that it looks like the disaster area. The clothes all over the body smell of smoke. The dishes are not very rich. The desserts and drinks are one or two. ? ? What the hell is the New Year's Eve dinner for you over there? I also don t know which dish is not fresh. It might be sashimi or unbaked sausages that are crispy on the outside and raw inside. It caused nausea and vomiting a bunch of 5 star restaurants at 4 o clock the next night? 1500 plus 10% service charge per person? ? Is there any kind of ethics? Is it an alternative fraud group~

We arrived 11pm from Fukuoka and took 11.50pm shuttle bus to the hotel which took 5 minutes. Check-in process was quite smooth and a consierge even helped delivering the luggages to our room. Extra bed request was delivered 15 minutes after check-in. Comfortable bed and cozy room, we slept well for 5 hours to catch 9am flight. The shuttle was on-time every 1/2 hour. The room rate was excellent considering the location and comfort. The only negative was the bathtub half covered by glass that caused the water to spill over the floor if you shower.

The room is clean, comfortable, but small and plain. The Breakfast was barely OK for the 600-NTW price.
I never really like hotels that do not provide small hand towels. I think using small hand towels are more customer-friendly and environmental-friendly.

I always stop by this hotel for connecting flight in the early morning. They provide shuttles between terminals and hotel as expected each 30 mins. Thumbs up! They serve breakfast in very early morning with bunch of choices, and importantly, very Taiwanese flavor. Good to small bites before airlines lounge. You could have a great view to see airliners taking off or landing if your room is facing airport.

If the most basic room is around $3000, there is a need to go to the airport for an early morning flight, or if you want to take a day off at the hotel to watch the plane and swim, it is a hotel to consider. The service is very good, but unfortunately the management Classes are less likely to operate

Today, I am going to have a wedding here. Xinyi and Summer really help a lot. The guests also feel that picking at the airport is very special. Interested newcomers can come and see.

I gave 3 stars before but now I'm totaly happy saying there, the pool and brakefast is amazing when incloude in price.

The closest hotel to the airport, convenient for early / late LCC flights. However, it is a premium as an airport hotel. Some facilities such as hair dryer and shower are old. Also note that there is no bathrobe. The staff is fluent in English and excellent. The breakfast venue was spacious and the menu was good.

Therapist Sandy provides great service and really considerate. Definitely worth a try!

The dishes in Weifang are meticulous and delicious. The waiter from the outer Mongolian, Gan Lanwen is sweet and friendly, and the service is thoughtful.

Our 4th time now at this hotel, sadly there will not be a 5th! The hotel is clean with a friendly environment, convenient with the MRT so close by too, shuttle service to the airport is also very good. Foodwise - the meals are not bad, my only complaint is the breakfast "bacon" was overcooked and this was apparent during our 2 day stay. In short, not many folks ate the bacon and it basically sat there untouched becoming more of an eyesore than it was already. We were also asked to pay a $3000nt deposit (which wasn't mentioned at anytime during the initial booking via agoda). As yet, we still have not been refunded of the deposit despite that the hotel has taken the funds for payment for dinners, breakfasts and room service! We also witnessed one member of staff being reprimanded for breaking one small plate during the Sunday evening buffet service, she was told to "go home" by her superior! We felt terrible that the staff member was sent home over such a trivial mishap "due" to far too many waiting staff in an area that was too crowded whereas they were all bumping into one another at a busy time. I am a westerner living, working in Taiwan for the past 14 years, have my own house here too and I am fortunate to be able to travel around Taiwan with my Taiwanese wife and 10 year old daughter for long weekend breaks frequently. We have stayed in some really beautiful hotels around Taiwan and some hotels that have turned out terrible but this Novotel Hotel does have some niggly issues that need addressing. Stay away from the breakfast bacon, it's a teeth breaker! The room we had contained what looked like a small fridge BUT actually it isn't any good for storing anything that would require chilling (milk, drinks etc etc), it's pretty much useless, so please bear this in mind.The room LED TV was far too small, one of the smallest TV's we've ever had in a hotel room, pretty sure this hotel could do better!

Nice room. Efficient staff. But windows are not soundproof for one ... and I shouldn't have woken up earlier for the bfast. The quality is a nonsense for a nice hotel like this.

On the whole, it has the standard of a large hotel, and the hardware and software in all aspects are pretty good. I originally wanted to give 4 stars, but the staff at the lobby counter couldn't figure out the situation and deducted two.
Check-in on 12/14, pay the full amount in advance with the China Travel Card (including the child's meal difference), and also confirm again by phone to pay only a deposit. But at the scene, the counter service staff asked for a meal fee. Fortunately, there was an e-mail with a credit card kept at the time, but it was not charged. Something went wrong.

Betty at the gym enthusiastically introduced the pool equipment to me and helped me improve my swimming skills. Excellent service :).
