Absolutely wonderful stay, great clean room, friendly staff, I will always stay here in Berlin

It's a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly, and are always available if you have questions.

The bar has a reasonable selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They serve pretty late (I don't remember the exact time the bar closes).

Don't forget to borrow a guitar or bass to j wind a bit at the end of the day.

My one negative is... Holy Pink Batman. The place is VERY pink.

Great trendy hotel. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was great and everything you need. In the hotel music is played by a DJ and can be a bit louder in the lobby and in the Barbeteich. The rooms are all quiet and you get nothing from the loud music. If you do not like that, I recommend another hotel to choose, but the nhow is always worth a visit.

Great hotel! The rooms have some vivid colours. There's a stage near the bar area. Bar is good and well equipped.

The breakfast is good - excellent choice.

Overall, nice hotel and will be staying again.

Nice hotel. Staff the first day was not that friendly. On arrival in the room it had not been cleaned. We even came across the check-in paper from the guests ahead of us who were supposed to stay in the room until one day before our departure. There was also no soap, the trash bin was still full and there were still half-full bottles of water on the table. Tidied and cleaned myself, put the cleaning card on the door the next day and when we came back everything was cleaned and we had received a bag with soaps. Due to Covid-19 not being able to use the breakfast or the wellness facilities. The room was very warm, the AC was not working properly. When checking out indicated that the room had not been cleaned and then we did not have to pay for parking. Well resolved!

Forget the price-quality .... overall .. acceptable

Pros:
-The view from the rooms is EVERYTHING
- the kindness of the reception staff (except for a young boy from Mescia of small build who was not very polite from the moment he arrived)
-the position
-Good quality complimentary soaps

Versus:
-Room switches give the shock (attention!), Burned out lights, old generation TVs, impossible to listen to music (at the nhow hotel ?!)
- the housekeeping ignored our do not disturb sign by breaking into the room and waking us up repeatedly every day several times until the day of check-out
- more like a youth hostel than a high-end hotel
- despite the heaters turned on at maximum, the bathroom in the room was very cold and we had to warm up with the hairdryer
- it was raining on our heads at the reception and when we pointed this out to the aforementioned operator he replied: "The water falls on your head because it's raining outside" ... pity we were in the hall!
Maintenance?!

The lobby, bar and terrace are great. The view is the best in that area of Berlin.

With the concept of a hotel for music, a lot of good music flows and the surroundings are too clean. Best of all, I like breakfast, and the food and atmosphere are good. Satisfies

Have ordered 2 cocktails at the bar. Ordered a smokey 23 which they unfortunately could not charge due to some defective equipment but got a really good alternative cocktails. Also makes really good Virgin cocktails

An amazing hotel. I hope the location improves even more in the next years. Would go back without thinking it.

The hotel is nice, however I had a very bad experience with one of the staff members at the reception desk. During the check in, I had a problem with my credicard and after trying for the 2nd time, the woman who was doing my check in, in a very rude way asked very loudly if I had money in the credicard to pay for the hotel. It was very embarrassing and not respectful the way she approached me, in front of many other guests. Unfortunately I didn t get her name, but her native language is Spanish...

A thing in pink. As far as everything is great. Even own coffee capsule machine unfortunately only stand for PAPP cup with plastic lid in the cabinet. Guys that's not up-to-date. You also have beautiful glasses in the closet and in the bathroom, ceramic coffee cups should not be a problem. Rest has yet to see. But nice isses.

An unforgettable experience in a unique hotel. His personal and Paul Rodriguez in particular, have made us feel at home. We will definitely be back.

Nice modern hotel on the Spree. Was easy to reach by car. Parking in front of the entrance. Proximity to East Side Gallery and Mercedes Benz Arena. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff is very nice but it doesn't save the whole area of minor flaws. We are on January 26th. 2020 there came and the room was very cold. And in the middle of winter. The air conditioning only blew cold air and the advertised underfloor heating in the bathroom was on. The only source of heat in the bathroom, by the way. The minibar was not fully stocked, as were the bathroom amenities. The slippers listed on the homepage were also not available and you can only get them on request. Maybe then you shouldn't even mention it. Coffee and tea were available in the room but if you only have a small mocha cup you wonder how to drink the tea if there is neither a second cup nor tea glasses or a glass in general. Furthermore, we had broken two lamps in room 1002 that we reported at the reception. Nothing has happened in this regard until our departure 3 days later. And if there is a big black spot under the toilet and you stick with your feet there, if you accidentally step up there you don't want to know what that is. Too bad we were really looking forward to the little break in this hotel. It is the little things that make the guests happy but there is still a lot of work to be done. On our next vacation in Berlin we will unfortunately look for another hotel.

Very special, but somehow cool too! Very friendly staff, large, spacious, clean rooms, great breakfast with a huge selection and a view of the Spree.

Hip, cool and young design. You immediately feel welcome and feel the open atmosphere that surrounds the hotel and the people.

The room was very clean, the staff was also very nice and accommodating. Always very happy! The location is central and the view is great.

You shouldn't hate pink if you want to stay in this hotel.

Great place, cleaning is top notch, plenty of hot water, breakfast was expensive but worth the money. And beautiful colorful surroundings overlooking a river.

I was there with my wife for one night and it was very straightforward and a very friendly staff, breakfast was good despite Corona and we felt very comfortable, rooms were also very good.

It is a wonderful hotel with great staff. We had an event there from our company. The service was very good, the view really nice and the space was just as well designed. Even if the hotel was colorful and nicely designed it is a bit cool in the ambience. But you should not spend weeks there either.

My rating refers exclusively to the bar:

The cocktails taste underground, partly after disinfectants. For salted prices. At prices of over 12, - you can expect the cocktail tastes.

The service has received the criticism professionally and wanted to bring it to the chef bartender who has mixed the cocktails. He obviously did not care and there was no apology.

The DJ and the music is great.

The hotel has a predominantly pink color that can be found everywhere, in every detail. The musical theme of the structure makes it unique of its kind: it is possible to order, as room service, musical instruments or to book the recording rooms. A gym and wellness center is also available. The attention to detail is manic, and the breakfasts are amazing. I stayed at this hotel for three nights at an event. I was joined by my girlfriend in the middle of the stay, and I arranged a surprise for her. Contact me with the customer relation manager, a reserved room in the turret was booked and set up: sofas, crystal table, champagne bottle, lights (pink, of course), and ... and in this magical location I asked my boys to marry me, with the lights of Berlin in the panorama, and with the musical accompaniment by a friend (who played a Gibson guitar made available by the hotel itself). A dream come true, everything perfect, and followed with care and passion. I found in this hotel an accomplice, a friend, in the figure of the manager, who took the organization to heart. I hope to come back soon! THANK YOU!

By design, good taste in every detail, by location, it makes perfect sense to make this hotel the best alternative when visiting Berlin

Friendly, very hard-working staff, nice room (albeit very pink), nice view and quiet. If I had to criticize, I would specify the dry indoor air, but it has so little impact on my experience as a valued guest that I want to overlook it. Gladly again

The rooms are a bit old. Unfortunately. Because the style of the hotel and the service are world class. The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever had. Fresh fruit, smoothies, 2 coffee machines, us and and ... I love to come back. It is a music hotel. Even at night music was in the hallways, which was very disturbing. That should be quieter!

Very stylish hotel with a beautiful view and first class breakfast. Some public parking spaces are available, plus underground parking.

Was now often in the hotel that is a good hotel in itself. The rooms are getting a bit old and the thousand lights and light switches annoyed me. In each of the 6 rooms the shower has caused problems up to now and either the shower stalled or the temperature changed. You have to like the style of the rooms very much, but find it outdated and the pink rather disturbing. The televisions are behind mirrors, which should look chic but makes the picture very bad. The restaurant or breakfast is very good for that, there is even a candy counter. The atmosphere in the bar is good and the location of the hotel directly on the Spree is ideal.
You can also borrow guitars and there are often events downstairs. The audience is rather young and hip. Sauna, wellness and fitness area is also good and sufficient. Service and staff are unfortunately bad and not helpful.

If you love pink is right here great interior, very courteous staff!

Trendy colorful hotel including the rooms. Looks new. Rooms were spacious, neat. Breakfast buffet had plenty of varieties. You could order omelette of your liking and black coffee. Even the lifts/elevators had different themes, colors, music. Enjoyed the stay, except that the keys won't work in the evening when you come back from work. I had to walk 3 times on one day as front desk had to reset the room keys multiple times. At walkable distance there are other small eateries, train stations, mall, etc.

Noise going through bed and walls all the way up and to fifth floor until early morning, so if you are coming to stay bouncing around in your bed during your stay in the weekend, enjoy. Not recommended at all tbh. The pink everywhere is kind of different

Shodinger's hotel, if works seems fine but if it doesn't....
Did a conference there and:
- The food was nothing special
- The AC was broken (a full day of sauna)
- The (wall sized) projection screen fell on the speaker projecting him forward, fortunately nobody got hurt but it was really close

Regrettably everything looked as if it could do with a good clean. Which spoiled the whole experience. Including the Silverfish running around through the carpet.

I had to be here on several business occasions, because obviously people think this to be a fancy place. Which it is. But I cannot count the instances of unprofessionalism in the mean time, and I will only state two examples.
First off, NOONE on the staff, wherever they may be, can have a proper education in service. With the service provided, be it on the reception, the bar or the restaurant, or even conference service, it's just striking how they drive all of their value from looks.
Calling themselves an upscale music hotel is crazy considering they only have VGA video projectors from the 90s.

We had a great suite, very generous and a lot of design emphasis. Location right on the water is great, you can sit great on the Spree. Nightlife, bars and restaurants are within walking distance. It is a pity that the rooms have no balconies and you can really enjoy the view of the Spree in the room. Otherwise a different Hotelkozept, more suitable for younger people.

I stayed at the nHow for 3 nights during a business conference. The hotel caters to many hip business folks, as well as musicians and other art-types.

At a glance, the hotel looks all trend. We quickly came to find that the pink and purple panache WAS the hotel, not a kitschy overlay. My biggest gripe, though, is with the rooms. They were very small and offered little ventilation at night. The respite was to open our window, but the window opened to a busy street. The sheets were some odd fabric that didn't breathe and myself and my roommate wolk up in a sweat each morning. Further, the wifi was terribly weak. Despite many efforts by the hotel staff to help, we felt handicapped without the ability to work from our laptops. This was particularly befuddling since the hotel caters to many internet types (PubKon was hosted during the same weekend).

The service however, was fantastic. The concierge and bartenders are very polite and cordial and they make hotel great. There is free coffee and tea during daytime hours and a small business center with printer.

The art selection at the nHow is hip and cool and adds to the experience. Pieces of the Berlin wall line the boardwalk outside the hotel, which also has tables chairs for dining and socializing. Another big plus: the breakfast is amazing, though a bit pricey.

The nHow is a fun hotel, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Mega breakfast and ingenious atmosphere gladly anytime again.

If you have a passion for music then this is the place for you. Each elevator has it own theme and music. DJ playing in the bar. The vibe is great and the staff is friendly.

We had a great time at the Nhow hotel. Beautiful architecture, great location (east side gallery, Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, River Spree...), large room with music inspired theme, super friendly staff and great value for money! My teenage kids loved it too!

If you have to wait for ages (more than 1 hour) at the check-in and then find out that the terrace is closed even in the most wonderful weather ... unfortunately only one conclusion: 0 points!
Annoying, especially since you would have used the time differently on a day trip!
Every 20 pension can do that better!
Addendum 1: It didn't get any better ... Key card was not activated, yeah ... another half an hour!
Addendum 2: Credit card was charged by over 30% more. Hopefully it won't get any worse.
Addendum 3: Even the "fast check-out" was anything but pleasant.

The hotel requires the deposit of my credit card details, although I have already paid for the room when booking through their website by bank transfer. I am not interested in the use of "additional services" of any kind. So why should I unnecessarily disclose my data?

The hotel is decorated in pink, dedicated to the theme of music. Must be a basic, but is something completely different and stylish.

Very friendly staff, ready to help you anytime, made us feel very welcome. We stayed in Junior Suite for two nights, which was a very nice, large room. Breakfast is OK, but too expensive.

An attempt for a contemporary and unusual interior design. Result feels cold, convulsively and generally uncomfortable. Rooms could be little bit cleaner.

very bad experience when I realized two days after my journey that they charged my credit card twice. I tried to contact the reception 5 times but they never answered. What is really frustrating, not only they made a mistake by charging twice the room price, there is no customer service since they don't answer the phone. Even the reservation center could not transfer my calls, they did not understand how this was possible. Unacceptable

I would never stay here again.
In the run-up to my wedding, I spoke to various people in charge of the hotel several times about whether it would be possible to provide one or two rooms before 3 p.m. so that I as the bride can freshen up again (after the photo shoot) and my relatives who had traveled far wanted to do the same do before the wedding ceremony. The answer was "no", but you can take a shower in the fitness room. Such a large hotel with such expensive rooms is not even ready for a tiny accomodation. I didn't want to take a shower in my wedding dress in the gym, just freshen up for a moment.

There wasn't even a greeting card in the room for us as the bride and groom (since I had already spoken to the hotel several times about the rooms, they knew that we as the bride and groom would spend our wedding night there). I experienced this very differently from friends who stayed at the competition after their wedding (champagne, fruit, menu ...). The two of us had to share a duvet and the mattresses were as hard as boards. The bathroom is zero soundproof, you can really hear everything. Breakfast was ok, but nowhere near good enough for such an exorbitant price.

Overall, with such an expensive hotel and all my efforts in booking, I expected far more than I got. It is sure to catch the eye with tourists, but I am thoroughly disappointed. I would have preferred to spend my wedding night elsewhere. But afterwards you are always smarter.
