Hotel NH Schiphol Airport Review

The shuttle is blue with NH hotel on the side and available on the hour and half and hour outside terminal 3. You must book with reception any shuttle to the Airport but no charge and takes 5-10 minutes. Only 20-30 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. The room is small to medium and I was offered an upgrade for 10. We arrive early 3 times and they had rooms available every time. Their lobby is very big with free water and treats and has a souvenir store. I didn't eat at the the restaurant so cannot comment. MacDonalds literally across the street!

Inconspicuous from the outside, but really appealing from the inside. The room was clean, well decorated and the bathroom spacious. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. Pool, sauna and fitness area can only be used in Corona times with prior reservation at the reception and are also very good. The hotel staff is friendly and tried hard and, in addition to Dutch and English, speaks German relatively well. The hotel car park is unfortunately relatively expensive at around 18 per day.

Nice hotel with excellent breakfast buffet we come here almost every year and use the Sleep and Fly offer, with the airport shuttle you are in about 10 minutes at the airport, so 5 star

Stay total 6nights here. I have to go to the reception almost every day since my room card always locked by unknown reasons, bad feeling. Especially even though I told the reception I have continuous nights booking, and reception replied yes they know; but at the second day they treat us as no check out. So we came back in the room discover the room keep the same, no clean up.
Otherwise, the shuttle bus is convenient and the Greenhouse restaurant people are really nice.

Quite old rooms. Dirty carpet on floor. Else good service and nice breakfast.

Two hours after check-in, room door has been opened by staff using universal key without guest's approval and guest was only wearing underwear. The staff said he just need to check the mini bar.

A very well laid out airport. Extremely clean and an amazing amount of shops and eating places. The train station with direct journey to Amsterdam central (or centraal as they call it here) is fast and efficient. Very well regimented transport system. No problem find your way around this airport everything is well sign posted

We are here the weekend before a festival and the problem is that the parking lot of the hotel is full, so we cannot park our car.

The power of the sockets will also go off if you turn off the lights at night. This is very annoying for someone who has sleep apnea and who is sleeping on a CPAP.
So the lighting was left on at night.

Great breakfast, great rooms, great shuttle scheduling.

You can find a McDonald's nearby if I'm well which is way too useful if you arrive after dinner time and you are hungry.

But, don't go there by taxi. You'll end up paying 40 from the main Schipol terminal entrance. The one with the I (AM) STERDAM sculpture.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in ... They make you feel at home and offer you many facilities.

Nice, complete with breakfast area (well stocked) and restaurant connected with shuttle every half hour to the airport from which the train left for Amsterdam every 10 minutes.

The rooms are comfortable and there are frequent shuttles between the hotel and Schiphol airport. If you're a traveller wanting to explore Amsterdam, it may be worth it to stay at this hotel (or other airport hotels) and to take the train from Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal each day. Otherwise, there's not much to do in the area. In terms of food or shopping, it's probably best to take the shuttle to the airport as there is an Albert Heijn and other shops there. The publicly available, non-group/meeting designated WiFi is quite slow at 5 Mbps.

Hotel is close to the airport and offers free shuttle bus service to and fro the airport. Room is spacious and has a mini-bar filled with beverages (for a fee). There's free wifi, a storage hold for your luggage. There's also a safe, air conditioning, heater, coffeemaker and TV set. The bathroom has a shower and a bath tub separate from each other.

Great facilities. Rooms always cleaned whatever time of day and nice pool with sauna.

It is a really nice place, very modern and tidy and clean. They offer a wide range of rooms being brom the bottom, the best going up to rooftop with the birds jaja just joking.
I don't know about the prices as I am always here for work, but I do know that breakfast is great, beds ar comfortable and staff are very kind. I like this place it is near McDonald's. It has a fitness center with pools and UVA. It is a warm place they have heat all over the building and you can controll the temperature in your room aswell. It has a kettle and a range of teas and coffees that they repplenish everyday, aswell as the minibar.
It is a great place is (N)othing (H)overwhelming (I know overwhelming doesn't start with H but it was just to do the joke. Ok..

Clean quiet rooms. The only thing I do not like is the trasportation between the hotel and airport. You have to notify the hotel ahead of time what time you want to take the airport shuttle or else they won't let you on and have to take another bus. Weird. Locations is not ideal, there's nothing around besides McDonald's. Nice staff.

Clean rooms & friendly staff! The windows are rather moderately isolated and so the aircraft noise can be perceived as annoying. The breakfast is below average compared to other hotels in the NH group. I also find the hygiene in the wellness area a shame. I'm a bit confused that a textile-free sauna is not accepted (unfortunately couldn't find any information and only found out about this from the staff in the sauna) - but with swimming trunks in the sauna and sweaty feet on the wood it is probably found to be okay. Not a very hygienic rule.
Lastly, the shuttle service is practical and good.

Decent and decent business hotel. Fitness is fairly well equipped, also 2 squash courts
Swimming pool is very small, jacuzzi often not up to temperature. The steam bath is also often broken.

I come here almost every week. Reception is usually fairly friendly, but an additional question regarding eg NH Rewards is always referred to the site, or incorrect explanation.

Good services, easy connection to the airport with free shuttle bus. It is expensive and the restaurant and shop inside are expensive. No shops or restaurants on walking distance.

Very nice hotel, transfer to Schiphol also super arranged. And also received a breakfast box at night.
Only annoying thing was the mouse in the lobby, when I made a report I got the answer: 'well, the door is open'. There was not even looked !!! Really bad !!

We were here for a business event. The coffee and tea was well taken care of. The room was very cold. It took some effort to get the temperature right, but finally succeeded. Nice lobby. The lunch that some people had ordered lasted so long that it had to be canceled.

Good hotel for overnight stay and reasonably priced breakfast. It is 5 minutes from Amsterdam Airport and with easy access for those visiting nearby cities such as Rotterdam and Delft.

Stayed here a few times, always been very happy, of you are feeling up for it there is a great run along the runways, plus there is a gym and small swimming pool on site. Transfer to and from the airport....

For hotels in Amsterdam it is. My favorite place, since you avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and really rest. It is very close to the central station and nothing expensive

From the outside it is not very impressive, but the insides are a surprise. There's a beautiful greenhouse restaurant used for breakfasts that I fell in love with. The superior rooms are ju perfect, very modern and comfortable. The other rooms would need some renovation. It's not far from the airport and there's a shuttle bus, so it's easy to reach. A very good choice if you need a hotel at Shiphol Airport.
