We had a spectacular time here! Wonderful views, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms! Up 200-250 steps from the beach, but just below the road, making travel convenient. Couldn't pick a better location.

Great location in Positano. The staff is very helpful and was a pleasure to deal with. They helped me plan an amazing birthday private boat trip to Capri for my wife on our honeymoon. One negative feedback would be that they need new bed mattresses! The sleep wasn't comfortable!

We stayed here during our honeymoon. Great service, the poor guy who had to carry our bags up those freakin stairs though! When he saw our luggage he was like "momma mia". Beautiful room with a large balcony overlooking the beach. Be prepared to walk up some serious stairs though to get here. Totally worth it though. We had a wonderful time.

Attempt to Cancel reservation at this hotel due to a death in the family. They would not Grant refund due to being 2 days past their "policy." Also would not answer the phone when I attempted to contact them directly. Terrible customer service, will make sure I never stay here as well as advise all I know not to stay here when traveling to positano.

A wonderful little hotel facing the east side of the Bay of Sorrento. The rooms have incredible views, with picturesque balconies. The furniture is classic and adequately comfortable, but the town has so much to offer that there's no reason to spend all of your time sitting on the hotel couch! The staff is as friendly and as helpful as can be, led by Rosita. Rosita is one of the nicest people I've ever met and she was helpful from the very start of our stay!

Amazingly hotel in Positano! The hotel is located in the perfect location because it s high enough to have outstanding views, but you don t get too tired from walking up the stairs to get there. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, AC very powerful, and shower pressure awesome. Our favorite part of the room (room 211, a standard room for 2) was obviously the balcony. It was huge with a breathtaking view of Positano, the beach, and the harbor. Not only was the hotel great, but Rosita, Carmella, and the rest of the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us outstanding recommendations, away from the over-priced touristy spots. They also helped us organize a day trip to Pompeii for a great price. This hotel was worth every penny and we ll be recommended it to our friends and family! Thank you for everything, Rosita!

Extremely poor service. No introduction to the hotel, no explanation of the room or any welcome. Checked in, took a picture of passports and put our bags in the room. There were already bags from previous tenants sitting in the room like they forgot. Felt extremely unwelcome. Views were nice but that is not 4 star hotel treatment. Clearly they missed the mark. Why pay the asking price without any service or amenities to back it up? Avoid like the plague and pick any other hotel that backs up their claim of being 4 stars.

The location and service at Hotel Miramare is first class. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and would come back again. The management and staff, especially Rosita and Carmela were so helpful with our travel plans and provided a wonderful, caring service. It s 3 minutes walk down to the beach/ferries. It s a little longer walking back up haha! The room and views were perfection.

What a shame, we sadly walked away from here with a sour taste in our mouth. We had really high expectations about this hotel, especially when you are paying 250 euros a night. It started well and we had a room with a lovely view but when the morning came things changed. I have a nut allergy and was told I couldn't eat anything for breakfast... nothing! After a lot of back and forth between reception and the waiters on breakfast it was decided that I could have doughnuts. So I was offered 5 doughnuts for breakfast in a 4 star hotel. I complained and was told there was nothing I could do, I then complained to the staff later in the afternoon and was met with a lot of backhanded apologies mainly you should have told us before or just excuses. I have stayed in hotels all around the world and have NEVER told a hotel before going. Anyway, I was assured my breakfast the next day was going to be lovely, so once again my expectations were high and I, frustratingly, was given another 5 doughnuts just this time two variations. Really not good enough. Additionally we had ants crawling across the room and some ended up in our suitcase. Not impressed and massively overpriced.

if you want to relax in positano and cannot decide which hotel to stay in, then know that the best choice is the Miramare hotel. There are tons of reasons why it is here that you can truly relax and enjoy the Italian premium resort. You will be greeted and served by a very hospitable staff who will be your best advisor on all your questions during your establishment at the hotel. Rosita helped us with organizing a scooter, a trip to the region, tips and reservations and much more. thank you. Here you will find the best view of the positano and the sea - be sure. You will be happy every morning because pf delicious and fresh breakfast. Your room will be cleaned several times a day, so that you will always have cleanliness and order in the room. All in all a dream stay.

We traveled to Italy as part of our honeymoon and found this lovely place with amazing views and so much charm and warmth from the staterooms to the staff! We were overwhelmed with all the wonderful little things they did from the very beginning of our booking the hotel. Great communications throughout the process and all went smoothly. All of their recommendations of places to go and see were perfect and gave us an even better than expected experience while in Positano. We loved this little jewel!!!

I loved the service and location the hotel provides! Rosita and her team really care about the guest experience and want everyone to have a great time visiting their property, and it shows. My room had a spectacular view of the beach and bay from the large balcony and personally is the only reason why the hotel choice mattered. So perfect! The furnishings overall are a little outdated and it was probably the least comfortable bed I slept in during my few weeks in Italy, but with the service, location and overall amenities offered... it is a fantastic choice while in Positano.

The views and beautiful rooms would be enough that I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. That said, Rosita and Carmella were the best hosts my wife and I could have possibly asked for. They welcomed us like family and sent us off with a bag of snacks for our early flight. A truly wonderful experience.

Beautiful hotel Friendly staff Delicious breakfast But the dinner course meal was really bad. Spaghetti is. Salty, fishy, Some give me the feeling of tickling my vomit.

We stayed in a renovated room. It was a middle room 104 with a large balcony. The room was very nice and spacious. Very first class hotel and well kept. A lot of road noise though, if that is a concern look at the rooms above the pool,401 to 405. They cost more but are beautiful and quiet.

It was the highest hotel for traveling to Italy, but it was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view, a nice view from the terrace. Breakfast cheese and salami are also delicious. It is located in the middle of the steep stairs, but you can ask the porter to carry your luggage (for a fee).

I'm writing in my last night in Miramare. I came to celebrate 40 years of marriage. From the very beginning the staff has been very helpful. Rosita has been superb. The hotel is very confortable. We got a fantastic room with a breathtaking view of Positano and the sea. One very important thing: the hotel has some parking lots, what is a diferencial in this "almost vertical" town. I certainly recommend Miramare and intend to stay here my next time in Positano.

3 nights in late October. This hotel is also depicted on the postcards of the Positano landscapes I bought in the town. A hotel that looks like a part of a photogenic landscape. The receptionist is two women. They are not like business-like people, they are warm, fun and reliable people like dormitory mothers. It was our most important memories that we booked a delicious restaurant with a superb view and a ship to Capri Island, and more than anything, we sang together and sang together. It was a great meeting and I want to keep the relationship and I want to introduce Miramare to my friends. There are many kinds of breakfast, bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit, salami, prosciutto and cheese. The only vegetable is cherry tomatoes. 30 minutes by boat from Capri Island to the west and Amalfi Rabello to the east. The bus is not recommended because it follows a curved road.

5 stars! Hands down the best experience ever! This hotel AND the staff are amazing! We have a jr suite. What an amazing view! One of the staff members helped us with our luggage up and down the very steep stairs. We will be back! The room was very clean, the breakfast in the morning was fabulous! I love Miramare! Thanks again lovely staff!

Amazing experience at Hotel Miramare from the moment we walked in the door! Our bags were taken down the many flights of stairs from the road and brought directly to our room. We were greeted with open arms (literally!!) from Rosita, one of the hotel staff members/concierge, who was so helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. She set up beautiful dinner reservations for both of our evenings and made sure we understood our surroundings and how to get the most out of our short time in Positano. We stayed in room 209 and had the most incredible, unobstructed view from our balcony (and shower with a glass wall). The room was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable.
