Great location without being in the hustle and bustle. A mix between old-fashioned comfort and modernity. Nice staff.

A hotel of 10. The treatment of the staff has been great, we have been at home.
Quite a detail for my birthday, incredible attention. We will choose them again when we return to the center of Madrid.
Regarding the covid issue, they have everything under control and perfect.

Impressive, we wanted to have breakfast, we saw it and we went in, the best coffee with milk that I have ever had. Large, with milk and good cream ... freshly made village toast bread, crispy and chubby and delicious butter croissant. It is true that it was still a tad expensive because it does not stop being a normal breakfast ( 5.20) but for a caprichillo every now and then it is great. They also gave the option of buffet so ... we will have to return.

Newly updated everything is modern and chic. Sean was especially friendly in the front counter, he also helped with the upgrade of rooms as we are have partners privilege. Would have given 5 stars if Angel didn t lie to us cos he said we got a room upgrade in room 608 because it was so tiny and there were no amnesties. Sean however noticed we weren t upgraded and helped us with room 605 and it came with Nespresso and free drinks in the fridge. He spoke very good English too. The hotel is smack in the city center so make sure you request for a high level room. Once again want to give Sean the credit he deserve for such a great service.

This hotel is very good, very adequate in relation quality-price. A little hidden for my taste and I would put a gym inside. Otherwise, fantastic!

Great hotel in the city center.close to plaza espana. Right now under renovation but we got a renovated floor. Should be all ready for summer of 2017.

Before this hotel was called hotel residence Calatrava, going to do 50 years I was there a whole month, half honeymoon half job and my husband, we had a suite on the top floor with a large terrace and great views, we went back a few years Afterwards and we ordered the same room. Then I think it was closed for a while because of the reform and I changed the name, I do not know if it was also owner and company, we returned after the change and it had been modernized and improved a lot, but the rooms had already changed and we could not take the usual one, it was the oldest cozy suite, but the tried and the services are unbeatable. thank you for your attention if I go back to Madrid, I will return to hispedarme there

Clean and basic hotel, has everything you need (apart from an iron and ironing board) but it does feel budget, not fully staffed 24x7 and very simplistic, not bad but no Wow here.

Very good hotel with clean spacious rooms and good beds. The breakfast has wide enough variety, a bit crowded on some days. Free usage of the nextdoor gym is nice. The location is very good - quiet but with good connections and not far from city centre.

You say it is an ideal hotel for children, when we can not stay because we have a 15-month-old baby and a 7-year-old girl who can not sleep with us in the room by a law, which says that no more than four people can sleep In a room, it will be an internal norm, not a law. And a rule that I do not get to understand very much. I understand that four adults can not sleep in a room, but a marriage with a baby and a little girl does not enter my head anymore.

Rooms are actually quite large, consider it is pretty down town. and very convenient location as can be access from different metro station and even a huge train station

A very central and well located place. The building was renovated, I did not remember it that way, but they have left it very colorful and spacious, especially the ground floor, where there is a very good cafeteria. The treatment is excellent, just like the staff

Good hotel. Location-wise it's nothing special - it's relatively close to the metro station, but otherwise it's quite far from the main attractions.
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and relatively spacious.
The biggest disappointed was breakfast with very limited selection of warm food the lowlight was also 'do-it-yourself' cooking of eggs.

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful hotel from November 1st until November 3rd. Last year I got for free 2 complimentary stays with breakfast included through the company I work for.
The room was clean and spacious, breakfast had so many and yummy options, but who made the difference was Luis, he was very nice and kind to us and he also suggested few places where to eat. I also want to say that, by looking at his way to work, he is very professional and he works with diligence and always with the smile on his face. Thank you so much Luis, we will come back for sure :) We also want to say thank you to Angel, very nice man :)

Great hotel in a great location. 10-20 minutes walking from most of the main sights. Really liked the trendy Malasana neighborhood across the street, some great places for coffee, food and retro clothes.
Staff are super friendly, had a great welcome drink and tapas on arrival.

Musty smelling rooms. Horrible wifi. Location was good with numerous close restaurants. Hotel staff was helpful, if a bit short, but spoke English well.

The restaurant's menu is jack, horse, king ... sausage and pizzas although open all day.
It has a gym just across the street that you can access as a hotel customer. Big space and nothing like the typical hotel gyms with a couple of machines and the weights.
