A big thank you to Keith and Patrck. Keith at the front desk was great. Very welcoming and made sure I was taking care of!! The bartender Patrick... was AWESOME....He made my visit even better with his very friendly service and the suggestion to try their fresh on the shell oysters. I was reluctant due to a very unpleasurable first time experience.... But I thought I would try them given his feedback. I ended up loving them. This was a such a wonderful experience and such a breath of fresh air, given a very dissapointing travelling day. Will definitely come here again!!

Just returned home from an exceptional experience with the Kimpton Marlowe. This was our first trip to Boston and the front desk at check in shared some points of interest that were all great! Our room was large and comfortable, and the bed made us feel like we were sleeping on a cloud. We had several meals at the restaurant and were very happy with the food and the people working there. Our last night, we found our safe would not open...we called the front desk and they promised someone would come at 8am... at 7:55 someone came to get our safe open and apologized several times that it happened ... at check out, the front desk also apologized (we weren't upset...things happen). All in all, the staff at the hotel was the best we have ever dealt with...everyone was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit!

Rooms and location are good. I had a horrible experience with the business center: had to print something and couldn't even open my email, as the pc's kept rebooting automatically. Moreover, they give you 10 free minutes and then start charging.

Very nice room, love the gym, restaurant is a little slow and overpriced (especially when I take something off my order [ex: French toast with toppings on the side] and it ends up arriving with what I asked removed still on it) overall: A-

I went down to Boston to visit my cousin, we stayed for 1 night and were AMAZED at how nice this place was. We got free wine in their lobby, staff were so welcoming, room was super clean and modern. We got cocktail vouchers for their bar and the room came with $10 towards their restraunt and bar in the hotel. Only comment would be don't let the elevator from the parking garage fool you, once you hit that lobby its like a whole other world! So beautiful!

I stayed at this hotel for a few days while working out of Cambridge and was surprised by How far it is from most of what is going on in Cambridge. Aside from location the hotel was great and I really as appreciated that the restaurant serves breakfast sandwiches to go. A lot of Lyfts and Ubers did seem confused about where to pick me up from this property.

Beautiful hotel. Guest service was amazing. Loved being able to go downstairs and sit outside and play cards. Loved the walkability to everything and loved being able to kayak in the Charles River.

This seems to be an older hotel but had all the amenities I look for when I travel. I stayed for two nights and the rooms are spacious, great views, very comfortable beds, rain shower head, plenty of places to plug in devices, the front desk is very accommodating and was willing to print some paperwork for me last minute with no trouble, there is a great turn around so your Uber doesn t have to drop you on the sidewalk on a busy street, direct inside access to the mall, a lot of places around the hotel to sit and chat or work, and plenty of walkable shops/food nearby. I d definitely stay again.

1.

1.
The location is nice since it is connected to the mall. It's a cute place compare to 4 stars hotels that I stayed in before. The staffs and housekeeping are friendly and nice. And that's all the good things that I have to say about them.

2.
First of all, they didn't return the deposit of $100 from my husband's debit card once we exit the hotel till we have to call them up and tell them to do so. And yet they still charge us $0.01 (for I don't know what)

3.
The shower didn't work (it was broke when we arrived) and we told them the next day (when we are checking out since we only stayed there for a night.). They didn't do anything but just apologizing which was fine. It's funny that we have to bring this particular issue up to them to get them to return our $100. It's like they were trying to hold our money and blame it on us.

4.
Then today, they randomly charged us $43. My husband called them up and they said it was for parking. WE DIDN'T DRIVE TO THE HOTEL. We took a Lyft! They said they will cancel it but it hasn't fall off the account just yet.

We are blocking them from our bank immediately since they have the tendency to come up of random charges 2 weeks after we checked out.

Not good experience.

Not good experience.

1. I didn't know if this is pet-friendly hotel. Too many pets in this hotel. Looks like this hotel is for travelers with their pets.
2. Not good for family (3+). The hotel provided a room with only 1 King bed (no extra bed sofa available at the check-in).

We've been visiting Boston several times per year; this is my new favorite place to stay. The staff is amazing and truly treats you like a valued customer. Lots to do in the area, easy access to the metro, and fun amenities, like kayaking.

I've stayed here a ton, and my last visit was not nearly as great, I don't know if it was I IHG ruining the Kimpton's or just a bad stay but I and the people I stayed here with had problems up and down. Check in with the late night staff wasn't great, people had said the maid staff had tried to clean the room with the door locked and the do not disturb sign out. The rooms were still alright but things weren't nearly as great as I remember them being.

We've stayed at Kimpton properties before and this one is just as greatas the others. The staff is courteous and very friendly and the rooms are super clean. It's pet friendly and we brought our Shiba with us. They had a dog bed and two bowls (food and water) waiting in the room for him in the room. This place is great.

Nice, boutique hotel. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful, and rooms are updated and clean. Onsite restaurant is nice, too, albeit on the pricier end. Biggest problem is the location - convenient to Lechmere and not much else :/

I had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel. During our stay we came across some extraordinary people. Two of them, were night front desk staff at the Kimpton. They both made our stay so welcoming. So, friendly from the moment we checked in. Having such a beautiful hotel & great staff like these two in particular really made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you, for making our first visit to Boston so remarkable!

Stayed here more than 100 nights so far in 2017 and love the rooms, service, and friendly staff! Sean and Meredith are amazing plus Ali and many others make you feel right at home. Definitely park at the Cambridge Galleria yourself and you ll save quite a bit of money and stress. Also try to get a room facing the Charles River - beautiful scenery year round!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location! Park to walk your furry friend right outside the front door. Mall with restaurants and coffee just steps away. We, however, did not receive the complimentary pet bed that Kimpton is known for. Very comfortable room. Only downside is pedestal sink in bathroom. No place to store toiletries except for cheap wire rack that does not securely hold toiletries.

Took us an hour and a half to check out of the hotel. From the time we called the front desk for help with our luggage to get a taxi. If we would have been flying out that day, we would have missed our flight.

Our stay here has been wonderful. We checked in late friday night. I told them it was our honeymoon and were given 2 vouchers for a glass of wine from the manager. We left the hotel for the day to tour boston and when we came back we had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. We want to thank the management and thier staff for this wonderful gesture. It was delicious . We are both very grateful and thankful. We will be very happy to stay here at the kimpton marlowe everytime we are in boston. For a travel standpoint. The lechmere station is just a few minutes walk and you have access to all of boston from there.

It could have been a great stay: Clean spacious room, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great view overlooking the Charles to the Boson Skyline, Good location, those deserve a 5 stars rating.
but....
Whatever you do, the temperature in the room did not go over 65. I am not asking for a subtropical setting, but 65 is a bit too low.
Secondly, even if the temp at the sink is piping hot, the shower was tepid even at max setting.
So, a room on the cool side + a lukewarm shower does not make one elated, especially on a cold Boston winter morning.
Too bad, I would have loved to love this place.
