One of the five-star hotels, famous for its history that makes more value from this hotel, the feel of its old vintage really feels really from its bedroom to its toilet really like we are back in the 1900s and even 1800s, all the services here have Guaranteed Ok for fifth grade, once in a while I can taste it here so I really know the feel of the old vintage feels really, historical And the place is really chic

First time coming here to attend the seminar .. For the environment it looks good and in accordance with the echo as a historical hotel .. The food taste provided at the seminar is also pretty good ..

Just stopped by for photos, and the building is still original from the Dutch era, very clean and authentic

I just had a wonderful rooftop party here and the view was amazing. The ambience was nice too. And plus, it's in the middle of the city, it's easy to get here from any places in Surabaya. It's also close to the Tunjungan Plaza.

One of the moments of historical struggle in Surabaya took place at the Majapahit hotel on September 19, 1945 ..... the incident of tearing the Dutch flag and the flying of the Red and White flag.

The incident began when a group of Dutch people led by Mr. Ploegman raised the red and white blue flag at the Oranje hotel, the name of the Majapahit hotel during the Indonesian independence era.

Seeing this incident, the Indonesian fighters were burning with anger, which resulted in the tearing of the blue flag, so that the red and white flag flew at the Oranje hotel, Surabaya.

It is in this building that the historical event took place. In that incident Mr Ploegman was killed.

This hotel used to be called LMS ... Then it changed its name to Hotel Oranje during the Dutch administration.
Before changing to the Majapahit Hotel, the Oranje hotel had turned into the Yamato hotel, the Hoteru hotel.

But right in 1910 the Sarkies brothers from Armenia officially adopted the name Majapahit Hotel as one of the historic hotels in the city of Surabaya.

A hotel full of history, a strategic location in the heart of Surabaya which is close to Tunjungan Plaza. Good rooms, friendly service, highly recommend staying here.

MAJAPAHIT, from the name we have gotten a historical impression. Once we enter the lobby we already see the antique nuance, the interior that brings us to the atmosphere of the early 20th century, there is even a 1930 Ford car parked neatly in the corner of the lobby. Then when we go to our room, we are as if we are taken on a trip to the past, passing through long hallways that seem to be a passage of time that takes us back in time to the period of colonial history. Passing through the gardens like a royal garden with neatly arranged grasses, followed by shrubs and medium-sized trees that make us enchanted and forget that now we are in ultra-modern times. Entering the room we are presented with a room atmosphere with antique interiors that increasingly convince us with the atmosphere of a thick Doeloe tempo. And all these ancient nuances are beautifully wrapped in modern hospitality.

The location and cleanliness of the hotel is very nice, thanks to the fact that it is located in the most central part of Surabaya, you get rid of the traffic snarl.

The hotel is good, the place provides calm, and it's cleanness that makes you feel at home.

The hotel was nice. They ruined the experience by stressing us into booking their expensive airport transfer because they couldn t find a taxi and we would find intense traffic. As a result we arrived to the airport HOURS before our flight (instead of enjoying their high tea as we had originally planned). Do yourself a favour: don t ask reception, just BOOK A GRAB TO THE AIRPORT AND PAY 1/4 OF THE PRICE.
