Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Centre Review

My one week stay due to quarantine requirement was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean though slightly dated.
I chose the premium package .
The food was served warm ( though a bit warmer would be better, though I understand that the food was served in disposable plastic containers), well presented and tasty. The quantity was adequate.

I would recommend a wider variety for breakfast such as local fares on certain days rather than the western big breakfast format daily. A small point, perhaps knife to be included when serving western meat dishes.

Overall a good stay and thanks for the warm hospitality showed by your operators, housekeeping and reception staff(when they helped recover my phone).

Very nice room, nice view, very helpful hotel staff, have separate bathtub and standing shower. I really enjoy staying here. Strategic place to stay in kl. 100% recommended.

Currently is on quarantined at this hotel. The room are spacious but is really run down or out dated. They need to keep up with current gadget world. Need more power point with international travellers and usb point as well.

Nice hotel with great service these challenging time also and there staff responded quickly overall my 7days stay good experience.

Nice old hotel, friendly staff. Went there for 10 day quarantine. Huge room size (albeit old furnishing), staff were accommodating to my dietary needs, good meals everyday. Would recommend Hotel Istana to family and friends who comes to Malaysia for holidays after pandemic is over.

Hotel Istana is located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, this is a high standard hotel with fully furnished, Rest room is super cool. There is a small fridge where you can keep you drinks. Two person can stay in a single room. There is TV,Table, and water heater which can be used for preparing tea and coffee.

The Room and everything is good. But the service is terrible. Sometimes you get lunch at 12 sometimes at 3pm. Same with Dinner sometimes at 7pm sometimes at 9pm. Most other requests are ignored for days or until check out. Outside food orders are delivered to your room after 7pm. Imagine eating McD food which was laying around 4h in the looby. I understand it's covid, but even during the pandemic it cant be that difficult to provide a descent service.

I stayed here for 6 nights under the Premium Quarantine Package. The room was dated yet clean and it has a spacious bathroom. I opted for a deluxe room and the space was ok, not too stuffy for 6 nights of stay.

The foods were served within stipulated time and warm. They had a great accommodating hospitality. If you have to work during quarantine, their internet is of good speed. This hotel is located in the middle of KL City. Upon checkout, it s within walking distance to go and grab some food from the nearby mall.

The tap water was initially murky, but I managed to turn on all taps to let it flow before it clears up.

Well due to restrictions for covid I cannot see all amenities but good is goooooood

5 star hotel,good location,good facilities but needed renovation because it looks dated.
As for the rest,just a reasonable stay,if you are not the picky type.
