Very good hotel. The staff is excellent and the location is perfect. The breakfast is also very good with lots of options.

Best hotel in Nuuk and probably also the whole of Greenland. Definitely a class higher than other hotels in Greenland with fresh and nice rooms. P.g.a. Limited bandwidth, internet is unfortunately expensive at the hotel.

It has a nice ambience to it. It is right downtown, with a wonderful steak restaurant on the 5th floor. In saying I have not stayed here but only ate here. Wi-Fi in the lounge with a fantastic beer for those looking to update a playlist or sit and chat with some beautiful scenery behind you.

I was unfortunate about staying under the restaurant, which was obviously cleaned from midnight and 1 hour ahead and it was noisy. The alarm continues from 10 am 5, when you started making breakfast. Nice bed and tv with some channels.

A place to believe that you are at the top of a beautiful blue planet experience!

Overnight at the city's most expensive hotel - it sounds like music through the wall, as if there is party at the neighbor in the block. Practice! So it doesn't help so much that the bed is good. Unfortunately, can't give zero stars - but would like to.

I didnt stay here but I ate in the roof top restaurant!!! What a food!! The Greenlandic dish is highly recommended! And dont forget to buy mouse in the open market oppostie from the hotel!!!

Our week in Greenland was great thanks to the small apartment this hotel offer along with the regular hotel rooms. We enjoyed the apartment as it was the closest thing to living in Greenland... Ruth Haephrati 20-Nov-2014

A fine hotel located right in town. A really nice breakfast buffet is available from 0600. Unfortunately, the rooms are very expensive at the hotel, so only 3 stars.

Very nice room, which is also the hotel's most expensive type, Polar. Very good food at Hereford Beefstouw. The fitness center was a little simple but good machines, clean and cozy.

The hotel itself was super, and staff were really good.
But. The food that so many here praise was utterly miserable. 2 times I was up and eating at Hereford and both times was an absolute disappointment at sky-high prices.

They can NOT figure out how to make meat. The first time was not made as desired, (cooked through) but it was acceptable, however, the taste of the meat was NOT! Barbecue skewers should not taste of burnt hair, and had no idea.

The second time we were up there, it was out of the question because I got to eat ticket when the flight was canceled.
The meat (unfortunately can't remember what kind) was completely tasteless, the only thing that could be tasted was the sauce which had been burnt beyond recognition, giving a very sad taste per bite.
Settle on a pissific sandwich next time.

The hotel is in the heart of the capital, Nuk, in terms of the level and the vital location of the city center

Excellent location, rational building, lean acceptance, fairly large rooms with modern and functional furniture. Bathroom not large, but well structured. The use of detergents on consumption and restoration is much appreciated instead of the usual bottles. Breakfast on the fifth floor excellent.

Good restaurant on the 5th floor. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I've never actually been to Greenland but I used this hotel for a story I wrote. No offense, but all the staff died, but at least some of you... should... be alive right now (I hope).

Decent middle class hotel <br/> (in my case with significant noise disturbance in bed) poor management management <br/> I was in this hotel for the first time on my fourth Greenland trip last night. I arrived by boat from Ilulissat and wanted to enjoy the last day in the center, so I had as short a time as possible to visit my highlights again. <br/> In the last two visits, I stayed at Seamens Home. It should now be a test to use another hotel that is centrally located. <br/> Positive <br/> Early check-in has worked smoothly. There is a good breakfast. <br/> Central location of the hotel, unfortunately still without competition. Negative <br/> It lacked a fridge in the room, this is not a cheap hotel, it should be a small fridge standard. Substantial noise in the room Bed. I had a room off the street, wanted to enjoy tranquility in the room. When I wanted to lie down at noon for a quick sleep, I realized that I was immediately disturbed by noise, mainly to remember in bed. My complaint has led to two danish mechanics listening but no explanation. They probably knew exactly where this nasty disruption was coming from, presumably from aggregates outside the hotel. For the guest that does not matter if it is constantly disturbed. Unfortunately I must say, if the hotel part, CEO, means, this is apparently a constant disturbance of the house, then the hotel would have to grant a discount to all guests , Unfortunately. I was shown two other rooms that had the same weaknesses, one was facing the street. With such a disturbance, which the hotel needs to be aware of, there is only a barter in a quiet room. If that can not be solved satisfactorily, the hotel must provide a financial compensation for this sensitive performance. <br/> Hot drinks are to offer in the breakfast for free, of course, also includes the cappuccino, no matter in what number. This is one of the very few hotels in Nuuk, Greenland. We stayed at the hotel and then moved to an apartment managed by this hotel. The apartment was better. The hotel is expensive. Service is good. Ruth Haephrati. Michael Haephrati. Stayed around November 2014.

Friendly service. Ok apartments but no more than ok. Cleaning once per week is at the bottom when you give so much pr. apartment.

Best Hotel in town with great restaurants, but very pricey

The restaurant on the top floor has the best steak in nuuk!!

Very high end. Chiefs create wonderful dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Wines from all over compliment the food. Be sure to book reservation.

It was a fantastic experience. Lovely room, and super delicious breakfast. It won't be the last time I use it.

Great satisfaction with the facilities, good service. Had only 1 night stay, but could use more!

I have to say that from the food offering to the quality of drink there are serious improvement to be considered. We had a smoked eel as starters, as main course wagyu platter. The dessert peach melba. Bad service!! The platter was delivered to 3 wrong tables before landing on ours. The starters were tasteless and inappropriate. A cold, pale, tasteless food was inedible. Wagyu looked like a tartare and jet was delivered to a different table before coming to us. The waitress was terrible. The location is fantastic but the offering has to improve to justify your prices. A lot of energy is needed if the management want to invert this negative trend.

Hotel Hans Egede is a nice hotel, with a good service. I got a lovely big room in a wing that seemed newer than the rest of the hotel and it was a very nice room. There is a very nice breakfast buffet and the staff is very service minded. It is clearly the hotel that I would recommend, even if the price is at the high end.

Nice hotel in the center of Nuuk. Good accommodations and terrific food.
