Beautiful hotel, inside and out! Every detail is carefully thought out. The beds are really comfortable, the view is great! Helpful, professional and polite staff. The position of the hotel is perfect ... Two minutes from the main entrance to the old town. For every, just every recommendation to those who want to feel comfortable, especially and who want to enjoy stress-free exploring the old town of Dubrovnik! I will definitely be back!

We went to the hotel restaurant on a Friday night where the BBQ buffet (bbq night) was offered. We were absolutely delighted: a wide choice of fresh products, quality prepared dishes (salads, toppings, desserts). In addition, the chef advised us for the fish, the meat he served us copiously and especially perfectly cooked !! In conclusion a pleasant terrace, a staff to listen and attentive, a very good kitchen with a great value for Dubrovnik !!

I cant even begin to describe our experience here. The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The entire staff is incredible and will go out of their way for anything you need. We stayed here in July and got upgraded to the Presidential Suite. We got engaged while in Dubrovnik and the Hilton did everything they could to make our stay as memorable as possible and they succeeded. Dont even think about booking. The hotel is located right next to the entrance to old city and has a parking garage. The views are unbeatable.

Hadherny hotel, perfect service. We were almost alone at the hotel, so we enjoyed everything. Luxury breakfast. Parking in the garage under the hotel. Covid's rules are followed everywhere.

Dubrovnik is one of the most charming cities and Hilton Imperial is situated near the Old Town, perfectly for exploring all of the important areas. It's an old building which brings the magic of the history. My room had a lovely little balcony, facing the sea, very bright and cheery. Overall the hotel is an oasis of calm and peace, my next stay there will be definitely longer.

This is the place to stay to enjoy Dubrovnik, just far enough from the tourist madness of the old town. Fine service and lovely views.

To be clear, we didn't actually stay at the Hilton -- but we arrived to pick up our rental car and stayed for the most enjoyable, 2-hour brunch for about $20 a person. Very kind and professional staff, courteous, joyful, and helpful. I look forward to returning.

This place was the perfect place to setup base in Dubrovnik, not only is it located just outside the gates of the old town, its in perfect striking of beaches and other attractions too. I'm a hilton gold and was looked after extremely well, I was lucky enough to be given a room with a great old town anns sea views The buffet breakfast was excellent, and included champe and various items you could order (eggs benedict, pancakes etc) The only negative was the pool being indoor, but this didn't warrant removing a star.

A positively delightful stay! Can't say with how much we enjoyed the Imperial... from the super friendly staff, to the impeccable room, and the perfect location in town, to the to-die-for view of old town, it was all-around wonderful. I would be amiss not to mention the incredible breakfast, truly a spread fit for a king. Oh, and the icing on the cake, an amazing upgrade to the presidential suite. We couldn't have been more pleased with every detail. THANK YOU!!

Excellent. I was there with my mum. We loved it. Staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Excellent facilities, clean and lovely rooms. Best hotel we have ever stated in. Brekky was fab. Executive lounge worth the extra money and the location perfect. Thank you to the staff at the hotel for making our stay special. Thoroughly appreciated our daily chocs left On the bed.

Very clean spacious rooms, very good breakfast.

The only downside was that the indoor pool was not heated and was not pleasant in the middle of the winter.
Hotel restaurant had a very good cuisine with many choices .
We also ate at the lounge but that food was mediocre.
The hotel is just above the entrance to the old town and 2 min from the central bus stop.

There is no place to park and come to the guests. Not exactly five stars.

From arrival to departure the staff were nothing short of brilliant. The hotel itself is quite charming, with all the facilities you could need, in a superb location 2 minutes from the main gate in the city walls.

Excellent stay with great customer service. Our rooms were upgraded and we had access to the lounge. Breakfast was great, too, even in times of the pandemic. Super location, not even two minutes from the old town and all the sights. Special thanks to Martina!

Beautiful room with a view of old town from the balcony. Short walk and you are in old town. Short walk to Banje beach if you want to swim. Awesome location. Nice executive lounge. Indoor pool and sauna and great workout room. Staff was so good. Great breakfast buffet. Would go back in a heartbeat. Had late flight. Put our clothes in lockers in the wellness center went to the beach, came back and showered and had a snack in the lounge before the car to the airport they arranged picked us up. Very impressed.

Beautifully renovated hotel a stones throw from the historic old town

Visited in December 2020, with the Panny-D raging across Croatia. Everything in the hotel was absolutely flawless, I can't find a single thing to complain about. The room was spotlessly clean, all relevant COVID safety measures in place made me feel safe, staff extremely welcoming, understanding and friendly. Staff and all guests wore face masks properly and socially distanced. Superb breakfast menu, with the buffet reduced and plenty of a la carte options included. Chromecast equipped 50 inch TV in the room was a blessing when everything else in Dubrovnik was closed. Lunch and dining a la carte menu - playing it safe with familiar favourites but would benefit from more local main dishes, even uf everything on it was well-executed, tasty and fresh. An example for other 5-star chain hotels to follow.

The old city is just doorsteps away. The room is very clean and tastefully furnished. However toothpaste and toothbrush were not provided.
Breakfast was excellent.
Dinner of scallops , artichoke soup, sea bass and a chocolate cake was also very good.

Lovely chilled hotel walking distance to old city, great staff service. Historic main building,although the new block is a bit sterile looking but good sized rooms .

As a tourist you are deducted and no staff at the car park counter even though there should be paid!

The Grand Hotel Imperial was opened on January 29, 1897, around the feast of St. Blaise, the patron saint of the city of Dubrovnik. The need to build a modern hotel in Dubrovnik was recognized by Baron Viktor Kalchberg, president of Austrian Lloyd, a powerful steamship company from Trieste.
It is located near the UNESCO-protected historic center of Dubrovnik and includes an indoor pool and a wellness center with saunas, a hammam and massage and fitness facilities.
Located in a historic building from 1897. The rooms are characterized by a combination of decoration in the style of the late 19th century and modern technology. All air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and the private bathrooms have a bathtub and wall-mounted shower.
In the Porat restaurant, guests can enjoy a large selection of seasonal Mediterranean specialties prepared from seasonal ingredients and Dalmatian fruit wines. The spacious terrace and the Executive Lounge offer panoramic views of the sea and the historic Dubrovnik Walls.

Hotel Imperial since the 50s. of the last century (WHICH BURNED IN 1991) was certainly worrying about what would happen when it was bought by Hilton. But - wonderful. Respecting the architecture, using also old chairs, railings, stone stairs and paintings, the hotel has preserved its historical originality and only praise for the look.

Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast options. Room was larger than I thought it would be.

I stayed at Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik on my honeymoon for 5 nights and 6 days. Since it was my first time in Croatia, I arranged for a pick-up at the hotel (300 kuna one way, about 5,000 yen). The driver was waiting at the arrival gate to handle the flight delays. The moving vehicle was a Mercedes-Benz van, which was delivered to the hotel very smoothly.

After arriving, I told them that it was a honeymoon in advance, and because I was a Gold member, the hotel upgraded my room for my honeymoon. The check-in process was smooth, and I was able to get a glimpse of the high level of education of the front desk staff. The executive ocean view room was greeted with a pleasant first night with welcome champagne and rose petals on the bed.

Breakfast was a buffet style, and there was a wide variety of rice and miso soup, which made me happy as a Japanese person. The selection was good as it was made to order and had omelets. However (this is selfish), the menu doesn't change every day, so I got a little tired of the selection for breakfast on the last day of my stay.

On the second day of my stay, I took wedding photos in the hotel lobby and balcony, against the backdrop of the Hilton Hotel's renovated rooms, lobby, and lounge. I also contacted Martina, the guest relations of the hotel, in advance, and the hotel staff helped me with the shooting.

Since it rained for 3 days during my 5 days stay, I had many opportunities to utilize the hotel room service. Especially the seafood risotto for dinner is less than 100 kuna and the taste is excellent, so if you order room service, it is recommended. Also, on rainy days, the hotel has a large Hilton brand umbrella, so I borrowed it for sightseeing in the old town.

Overall, it's no exaggeration to say that Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik provided the best service of any Hilton affiliated hotel I've ever stayed at. The quality of the staff, the cleanliness of the facilities, the location of a 2-minute walk to the old town, all 5 stars. As a bonus, there is a small convenience store next door, so it is easy to procure drinking water and sweets, which is the best for travelers who really value convenience.

We scheduled a pick-up from the airport as it was our first time in Croatia and we were not too familiar with the geography. scheduling everything and meeting all of our needs.

We requested to take some bridal photos in the hotel and they went out their way to make sure we could take great photos. With the recently renovated hotel, the lobby and lounge area was perfect for taking photos.

The breakfast menu was included in our stay and the choice was plentiful. There was hot food, cold food, salad, fruits, various juices, and even a made-to-order omelet as well. I will be honest though (and this is a bit selfish on my part), but I did get tired of the menu choice by the end of my stay.

We also used room service quite often since it rained often during out stay. The seafood risotto was a fantastic menu option, if anyone is interested in dining in. They also have hotel umbrellas ready so you can still do the touristy stuff in the old city even in the rain.

Overall, the hotel is fantastic and a total 5-star stay in my books. Best experience out of all of my Hilton experiences and I will definitely plan a trip back to Dubrovnik and stay at this Hilton if so.

Gave them another chance and it was another disaster.
Hair everywhere, bath, towels, linens and pillows, no bell boy again. We complained and 10 minutes later overheard people working in reception ridiculing our complaints. Not good.
Changed a room, the same. Hair, unclean surfaces, some toilet paper fell from a towel.
In the end I slept with my clothes on. Not exactly an experience you want to go through after long day.

No bell boy, many times no one in reception, I tried to connect to room service for 3 days, they never answer. Dirty fitness and spa facilities, In general once again a huge disappointment. The only good thing, the location.
I did not specify one thing, it was the second and the last time we stay there."

It's high class, great view, upscale. If you want to see Dubrovnik and want a top notch hotel, it's the best choice, you will not be disappponted.

One of the best hotels in town. The staff is excellent and were very attentive to my group. The hotel upgraded our room free of charge which was wonderful. This made the experience very nice. The bedroom was standard and very clean. The beds are firm which is what I like. The views from the hotel of the city are breath taking. The breakfast is well worth it. There is an American breakfast, Japanese breakfast and meats and cheeses. The omelette station was my favorite. There is a pool and gym here.

Amazing location especially if you have a car. Staying in Old Town(s) can be fun but this is the best of both worlds. Staff was excellent and hotel was impeccably clean. Breakfast buffet was nice, had very good coffee. Only downside is the hotel overall feels a bit dated, think Euro gotti circa 1997.

Excellent hotel; exactly what you would expect from the Hilton brand. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the facilities were always clean and looked in good shape. The breakfast was varied and very tasty, especially the waffles. The service in the bar and the front desk in particular were very good. We're so pleased to have stayed here and would come back.

The rooms have been renovated 2 years ago. They are sweat, hot , luxurious in a fine decoration. The staff is friendly, effective , responsive, pro active .the breakfast is worth a meal. Diversified, rich, balanced and delicate. A beautiful experience. Not mentioning how much Dubrovnik is magical carrying so much history.
