Stayed here last summer and here is what I remember: Excellent location, good to ok food, fair price, terrible foot massage and friendly accommodating staff.

The staff was so friendly and very close to the pilgrim gate and very nice to see. Facilities are clean and restaurant food is also very good. Because it was off season, the price per night was not so high when compared with other places. It was the best hotel I have ever traveled to.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, great gym and spa and swimming pool. But I think they need to work on cleanliness. Hallways and glass quite dirty. For those prices and that status, it all has to shine. It's just ... it's great.

Great hotel and staff could not have been more friendly. Very close to the Pile Gates. Rooms were fabulous/luxurious, concierge services can help with just about any details you need. Would stay here again and again based on our experiences!

Caro I can impeccable everything. And amazing location

We went to the lobby bar for a drink and dinner, even 2 times during our vacation. Great food and drinks! As it is difficult to find something reasonable in Dubrovnik, and everything is overpriced, then the hotel prices are no higher than out in the city and the quality is raised standards. Really recommended, even without an overnight stay!

Best location for exploring the old town. Underground car park. Good beds and quiet air conditioning. Great breakfast, but a star less because of the thin coffee.

Everything was fine, the standard is fine, and the location is perfect. Wi-Fi is in all the hotel, the receptionists are kind and also the barman. Only advice is that they should change after 2 days sheets.

Great Service, clean rooms good location just outside the old city. Request a room with a view or balcony. For those with children some rooms have an extended patio that is safe for the kids to play outside and some room to run around

First experience is smell of luxury. Excellent quality, service and comfort. Location is perfect for visiting Dubrovnik. Just outside old town, so can be reach by car.

Excellent experience. Rooms were clean and nice but nothing special. Service, especially concierge was great. Breakfast was really delicious! We found out this hotel is Iconic in Croatia for being part of bringing tourism to the region at the end of the 19th century.

Excellent hotel situated just outside the old town, hence in a quieter and less busy part of town. All the sights and restaurants in the Old Town are still within walking distance.

The perfect luxury hotel for those visiting Dubrovnik. The hotel is steeped in history and close to the Old Town and transport is not an issue at all. Ideally located. Recently renovated. Excellent customer service. The food there was amazing. The customer service official at the Concierge was very good and gave us such in depth useful information which helped us a lot planning our trip. All in all, great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel near the old town, less than a 4 minute walk! Due to the Corona crisis, it will be very pleasant to travel there again for the next few years.

Hotel of luxury, the cafeteria is cheaper than others of much less level in the center.
Elegant and cozy room.
It also has a store of bags, belts and handkerchiefs.

2.Likewise no free wifi. Really?? In a 5 star hotel.? You CAN get it free though if you join the hilton club at the reception - which is free !?? I would expect this calibre of hotel to provide it free to all guests as standard.
3.We were given a "Villa" room without being advised beforehand.These rooms are very nice but quite a pain to get from to breakfast or the pool, both of which are in the main hotel, having to go outside and up and down stairs a lot .The pool is only accessed by lift not stairs ( unless you use the fire escape) The Villa building has to be accessed by room card .Another annoyance but necesary in an unattended annex presumably.
4.Our first breakfast was a disaster as plates and food were cold.Not what I expected.On complaining to the restaurant supervisor it was explained they had an electricity malfunction.BUT no staff had explained that to us guests at any stage so we only had a continental buffet to eat but at a full breakfast price. No hot food, no toast etc. No recompense was offered.The hotel manager I spoke to about this did offer a free transfer to our next hotel in Dubrovnik for the hassle and disappointment but every guest eating there that breakfast time should have been offered a rebate as they could not have the full Hilton standard breakfast .

Second morning- cold plates and breakfsst again, due to electric problems.AGAIN guests not informed or recompensed.WHY?

This hotel is in a very convenient position being just outside the walls at Pile gate,the staff are very pleasant and the rooms smart but it is not value for money and not a competitive standard with other 5 star hotels in the area, which also have the benefit of an outside pool and sundecks, lacking at the Hilton.

Hotel in a prime location right in the center of Dubrovnik. One of the most expensive.

Awesome hotel. First class comfort and staff and incredible location.

Beautifully restored 120 year old building. This is a step up from your typical cookie cutter faux-luxe Hilton's that you have stayed at many times for business. This is an elegant 19th century historic building in the best part of town next to the fortress gate. Perfect location to visit Dubrovnik. Hotel bar on Main floor has great selection of gins, and (importantly) a great selection of tonics.

Very expensive hotel if you are paying in full during peak season. This is to be expected, however, for a hotel of this caliber. If you can get a discount using pionts however, then staying here is a must. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is the best. If you are tired during your sightseeing, it is a place where you can come in for a while, rest, and go out again.
I think the facility is very good this time too.

It is a beautiful hotel to stay. They are very helpful for booking excursions. It is also right next to Old Town Dubrovnik. Would very much recommend.

We had an absolutely perfect stay here! The service at breakfast was amazing, with someone always checking to see if you need anything, and even offering advice on what to see while you're in town! Friendly, but not overbearing. Service and surroundings in the executive lounge were also terrific. The pool, sauna and steam room were great. We only had dinner in the restaurant one evening, but the food was very well prepared and of course the service was on point. Even the car service to and from the airport was flawless. Our one week visit was nothing but enjoyable. We only have a few photos from taken from our balcony of our room.

Good looks, close to the city core under UNESCO protection. Food is okay. Rooms are also good and look refined! Everything went well.

Five star and beyond!

Staff were excellent throughout. Guestroom was beautiful and breakfast selection vast and varied. Location can't be beaten, 60 second walk from Pile Gate. Decadent and well worth a stay.

Great location, right next to Old Town. Rooms and service were good too, but for me its all about the location. The luxary was for someone else. There are less expenses being right next to old town instead of taking taxi, but doubt it weighs up for the price difference.

Everything was just perfect.
The ultra-clean room with the balcony showing off the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. The Executive Room with access to the Executive Lounge with someone constantly available for every question you might have to ask.
You pay the price, but it is worth it.

It was clean and location was near to old town and was good. But it was expensive and I was a little disappointed that there was a distance to the beach.

I parked car in the parkhouse for 1 hour and they in reception tok 190 kuna... too expensive.
