A great place to spend the afternoon. The restaurant is very beautiful with spectacular mosaics. It is a site that is important to see. He perfect service, very attentive. I ate a midweek menu of 29, 50e. I really liked beef sirloin. The rest of the dishes did not impress me that much. Upstairs there is a cozy terrace. Recommended to go up. It is more modern. In general I am very happy to spend the afternoon at the hotel.

Very good quality. Home very friendly but the room facing street is noisy because old door frame (bad sound insulation). By cons all the rest is excellent: decoration, cleanliness, reception, bar and terrace with pool, wonderful breakfast etc

As far as location, you really could not book a better hotel in Barcelona. You are right in the heart of the city and close to EVERYTHING.
The rooms are small, but clean, nice and just enough to meet our needs.
Our room was located inside the hotel, so we did not notice any outside noise that would keep us awake. The walls are fairly thin though. We could hear people snoring and talking in the rooms that were close to us.
Our first night in Barcelona there was a problem with our airconditioner, but we mentioned it to the staff and by the time we returned to our room that evening the problem had been remedied.
The staff at this hotel were nice, but not overly pleasent or helpful with restaurant choices or places to go.
I would not recommend the breakfast here, at 25 euros a person it is outright ridiculous. I also would not recommend the upstairs bar. It was unique, but the food was not anything to brag about and the sangria was one of the worst I experienced in barcelona.
Also, if you need a cab in I would not recommend ordering one from the hotel. It will cost you more. If you just walk toward the main street, taxi's are offered at all times of the day or night. You will never have a problem finding one and it will save you big time!

Beautiful refurbished hotel. Super professional staff and services.
Perfect size rooms with elegant modern bathrooms make staying here a pleasure. Fun rooftop lounge with pool and bar for that last drink. Tho when busy it can take some time for food orders.
Close to Las Rambla and everything Barcelona can offer, the place to stay.

Stylish hotel located near the Ramblas/ Licieu theater, beautifully restored in a Art Nouveau style. Staff is very friendly, breakfast more than sufficient. A good place to relax and explore Barcelona in an interesting quarter. .

In the lobby of this modernist hotel you can imagine the grandeur of the past. Retire with an international newspaper or magazine, order a glass of wine from the bar staff and unwind completely.

A 'swimming pool' that is the size of a big bathroom! Seriously! Can't really swim in it at all. A 'breakfast buffet' - which is 2 pots of overstewed mushrooms and 'chicken sausages' and limited pastries - helpful pleasant staff though.

This hotel tipped me off on my room rate charging me different rates when I was in the same room and were so unhelpful when I queried it. The manager was belligerent and would not negotiate but charged my over 30 extra for two of my 3 nights. In addition there is a ghetto building behind which many of the rooms look over and two barking dogs barked all afternoon and night! The location is close to La Ramblas so that was positive but the staff admitted they d had a lot of issues with the dogs! Disappointing service and stay. The rooms are tiny!!!

Stars are missing! What a nice hotel! We were there for New Year's Eve. The staff there, at the reception, at the bar, the luggage boy, the cleaning service ... all very friendly and friendly professionals.

A clean hotel that's right next to the metro and beautifully decorated. The service is pretty rude on the contrary. The hotel has a Michelin restaurant and I asked if there were vegetarian alternatives that the chef would cater for. I was laughed at by the staff and turned away. I was told I came to the wrong country if I wanted vegetarian food after I had eaten at multiple vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Spain...

I was there with my friend and we were surprisingly upgraded to the junior suite (believe it at least). The room was very clean, even with a bath! The only downside: The room had no window to the outside to ventilate, but only in a kind of courtyard, which was covered, however. The air conditioning was good, but fresh air would not have been bad either. At breakfast there was everything, which you (or at least I) so needs - fruit, vegetables, cold meats, sweet spreads, small particles, cake, bacon, eggs on demand, toast, rolls, coffee etc. In the large entrance hall is a wing which may be played between 12 and 20 o'clock. All staff were very nice and courteous, with English you could communicate well. The location is also great, in 2 minutes you are on the Ramblas and the subway station "Liceu". Directly opposite is a supermarket, where you can buy relatively cheap water - the tap water in Barcelona you can drink apparently, but it tastes very like chlorine.

A gem of a hotel hidden down a small unassuming side road off Last Ramblas with a first class restaurant, the wonderfully ornate turn of 20th century dining room being complemented by warm and efficient waiting staff. The 40 dinner menu and well chosen wine list is worth a visit alone.

The restaurant is very good. Extraordinary desserts All the dishes in general very well, although in some they abuse the onion. But it's worth eating here. Service a bit slow, but the staff is very attentive.

We had a room with a small window in a dark painted courtyard and therefore practically no natural light. Every prison cell is more homely. The room service was especially in the bathroom very careless. We will not be back for sure. In Barcelona there is better for the money.

I stayed in a Twin-Room with my girlfriend in this very comfortable hotel in Barcelona. It is very close located to the Rambla, just a few steps away. The service was excellent - especially Jordi was very friendly to us and other hotel guests. He's living his job. Unfortunately, we had not the chance to give him, what he deserves.

Now to our room: The huge bed was very comfortable. There was not much space around the bed, but not as bad as in other rooms we were. The bathroom looked very modern, and it was very clean.

I can with full conviction recommend this special designed hotel. See you soon and thanks!

Nice newly renovated hotel converted to a lot of authentic features. Service and staff are super nice. The room is ok, we got a room that felt very closed. The bathroom is new and modern but it is clear that this is poor quality. For example, the sink is so low on the tap that it is almost impossible to wash your hands. We experienced that the disco played far after noon, that is a bit unfortunate for someone who is going to row the plane at 7am. Above all, a decent hotel but I had expected more for this price. Location is good to central.

The washrooms were the worst part of the hotel. As per the photos below, the fan above the shower was dirty, the shower tray was falling out of the wall and we found a previously-used soap bar sitting on our towel rack waiting for us when we got into the room. The shower itself had a design flaw where a lot of water was ending up on the floor and we needed to use a towel to mop it up ever time we took a shower. Another couple in our travelling party needed to switch room because the base of the shower was actually leaking. While the hotel offered free WiFi, some of the rooms were probably inbetween repeaters because another individual in our travelling party had a room in a WiFi dead zone.
