Beautiful hotel, the amazing architecture, designer furniture, art, etc. are stunning. All the staff was superfriendly and nice. However, the food was not so good. I wouldn't recommend booking dinner here. Someone saved a lot of money on the kitchens budget.
The hotel is big and old but was clean.
Good location in Sesimbra center and right on the beach. And you can take the bus line 207 to Lisbon about 50 minutes. We have rooms the 610 has unfortunately no WiFi. We always have to go to restaurants on the 9th floor. Breakfast have lots of choice.
I really enjoyed my stay sorry for having gone shortly. It has a beautiful view, a great breakfast
Yes I have been to this place a few times but whenever I go it is to work, but it is a very beautiful hotel with good service and a beautiful view of the sea, well worth going in this place.

Bad signaling to get there. The room had no sea view although on the NET it was written that all rooms had a sea view. To reach the indoor pool, an authentic labyrinth with winding stairs and an elevator that looks more like a lead coffin. At reception they did not give all the information.
Some staff are quite rude however majority aren't. Could use a spring clean but great views all around

ZERO quality / price ratio. Very high prices when the gym and heated pool services are closed, and there is no such information when we are presented with the reservation price, however the images of the services are still there, selling the hotel.
Only the view from the bar is the best there is, very good indeed, but they do not need to be accommodated to enjoy it. A positive note also for free parking.
The Hotel Sana Sesimbra gives 20/0 to this and the values are the same, I speak from experience.

It's an old style hotel that lives much thanks to the awesome views. All rooms are sea facing to the beautiful Sesimbra bay. The bar is awesome looking, especially on the large all wooden balcony. Good WiFi internet connection all over the hotel.
The rooms themselves are old and could do with some renovations and update to the 21st century as well as the indoor pool. Staff is nice but could be more proactive during breakfast service.

Hotel with a fantastic view to the sea. Very close to the beach. Very friendly staff. The food very well worth it having no offer of drinks at meal other than water. Drinks from the bar are a little expensive for coffee 2. Private parking. The pool good.

Very well located and with a very nice pool area but it is an authentic trip up to the 70's. My first thought as soon as I got to the room was: are there any hotels like that yet !!? Then there is a maze of lifts and stairs between the two hotel buildings to reach the pool. It is forbidden to place sun loungers or chairs in the indoor pool area. In winter one would expect to be able to enjoy this space. Poor state of maintenance and cleaning of the pool. I was not more than 20 minutes after seeing the gutter grates and green walls filled with algae and fungi. Turkish bath was broken. We found a cockroach in the toilet in the bedroom where our baby slept. Bar staff very friendly and professional but live music only in English and Brazilian !! Why ?? We are in Portugal. If I wanted to listen to Brazilian music I would go to Brazil. There they do not sing Portuguese songs for sure. The hotel needs updating. It's worth it because it has the best location in Sesimbra.
Very old, had no shower mat, faulty shower had to be waiting to get it up, had not even a bottle of water in the fridge which is the least you could ask for, went to the hotel bar to buy a liter and half of which took me 3 euros a shame.

Very good. The room in which I was absolutely divine and the pillows, a dream. Very competent team even in the middle of a pandemic. I left refreshed, the wi fi is so good that on the beach I could still go to the NET!
I liked everything, room, outdoor pool and interior, bar, landscape.
Rooms of reduced size and state of repair could have been improved over the years, giving a more vintage and less sloppy air. Privileged location in the magnificent bay of Sesimbra and attentive staff as good points.

The hotel despite being 50 years old is well maintained. The old-fashioned decor gives it some charm.
Varied and good breakfast. The only negative note is the juice served being concentrated instead of natural. I think they should improve on this point.

Although the hotel is probably a little bit dated and in some ways oddly laid out, as far as we were concerned these things only add to its charm. The whole place is nice and comfortable with an excellent standard of housekeeping, and all the staff that we met were friendly and obliging. I would definitely come back, especially once the 'lightning fast' local road crew have finished relaying the surrounding roads!!

Many of the rooms are more like convents cells, very small and suturnos.
It has too many stars, for the type of hotel it is.
the pool is full of flies, impossible to rest, above there are missing sunbeds, if you go 5 minutes from the hammock the hotel staff removes your belongings and you are left without a sunbed and there are no shady areas, in short, nothing advisable to spend the holidays
Amazing view over the bay and beach. Most wonderful location, 2 steps away from the beach. Bedrooms are being remodeled, the new ones look very nice. Very nice service too. Downsize: it's an old building with general deco to the age.
The pools have the icy waters. Even the heated. But the view and the service are spectacular. It's worth it! ;)

Great location and views. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast can be improved a lot: juices are terrible, scrambled eggs are overcooked, bacon is raw, coffee is simply bad, ... It is a good place to stay for weekend and enjoy the small village and restaurants around.
Top staff, all very friendly and attentive. You hear a lot of dragging from tables and chairs early in the morning and you can't sleep. The meals could be more varied and the desserts would not always be the same (more variety of fruits and sweets). Excellent location

I've been here for 3 years. The hotel has an unbeatable location but I think you already need an improvement of common areas and rooms. It gets very very old for a 4 star.
In general terms it is reasonable. Clean and tidy that's the least you ask for. Something outdated and in need of renovation at the decoration level.

Really noisy guests. Staff don t take action to help when drunk guests are being disruptive. When I use the phone in my room to call reception or room service, no one answers. Quite poor customer service overall

Hotel is dated/worn with old furniture and interior, but be extra aware of really hard beds. Shower/bathtub in our room was so old that it feels filthy.
Location is good, and the view is awesome.
Most of the staff we met were at best uninterested, and at worst rude. Also jo minibar in the rooms, and no room service, but that might be ok since everything is very pricy in this hotel.
We were told no check in until 3pm, but it was running even later.
Sauna and indoor pool were dirty, and we didnt bother testing them. Outdoor pool area is fine, but felt like there was a general lack of sunbeds.
The building is pretty old but clean. We had to take two elevators every time we wanted to leave the building or go to the swimming pool . The staff at the reception was very nice but the ones at breakfasts weren't very friendly. One of the chairs was broke and no one cared about it. The breakfast was ver limited. The view is stunning
