Very good hotel, comfortable and well located. Also, it was reformed, it was the old Hotel Convencion of the early 70's. Now it is better

More than a month ago we paid for a suite at Novotel Centro Madrid. By warning that we had a small dog. The reservation has been confirmed. To our surprise arriving a weekend of New Year's Eve 2018/2019 we had the joy of being denied access to the hotel because of the presence of our little dog. Not assuming their responsibility and contrary to all the laws of hospitality we were kicked out of the hotel with our daughter and our little dog pet friends will appreciate PS. Novotel prides itself on accepting animals all over the world. We have not been reimbursed for the moment

Located in one of the important streets of Madrid, a few meters from the shopping street Goya.

This is perhaps the best hotel in Madrid especially people.

Excellent large hotel that caters for families and business users. Reception & restaurant staff are friendly and professional. The clean rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast buffet is vast which includes sushi, smoothies, all types of eggs, churros, gluten-free corner, nespresso coffee and even cava! Food is replenished regularly and empty plates are cleared efficiently. There is even a post box (Correos) outside the restaurant! There is paid underground parking available too - 25 per day (August 2018 price). The hotel is located about a 30 minute walk to city centre. There are however, many restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and department stores within a 10 minutes walk. The beautiful Retiro Park is only 10 minutes walk away. Highly recommended!

Very impressive looking public areas. Only there for a fair so did not see rooms.

Pretty good location. Well renovated, quality rooms. Loses a star because the only window in the room just opens out onto a light chimney and the lifts are glacial.

Lovely rooms! The bed was quite comfortable, and it was very nice to have air conditioning. They also have universal plugs built into the room, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast was just ok.

Decent hotel. Ask for rooms with window facing open space, not the internal airwell.

This hotel looks like your typical fascist building - huge, impersonal and not communicating to the exterior world. So much so that the main entrance is in an internal court. Parking is horrible (don't try it if your car is big, you may get stuck). As the hotel is huge, everything looks crowded (reception always has a queue and is slow, breakfast is served in a huge, noisy place, etc).

Excellent accommodation, great location, close to the subway and El Corte Ingles.

We had booked for Easter and for a medical emergency we could not attend we had not contracted cancellation and showing why we had been respected our reservation for other dates, the good facilities the friendly staff And the Buffet very correct, the hotel is well connected and close to the center, the only one is that when you enter the hotel you go under an arch with a small sidewalk where there were always cars on top and when going with a wheelchair we had to get off the sidewalk

The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. They are well maintained and clean. It is located a few blocks from Buen Retiro Park and one from O'Donnell Metro Station.

Good Novotel in the center of Madrid, it is easy to go to the hotel by bus or taxi (15 minutes) from the airport. It is in walking distance to big park.

I loved, huge, with a lot of movement, many people of course there, very good breakfast, very good and comfortable rooms, very attentive staff, parking included, distinguished attention, nothing else to arrive or leave and they are waiting for you to open the car door which famous person you were.

Great location within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The food was good and the service was great! The only thing that was inconvenient was that they didn't have money exchange services

Very good service, also the hotel is very central. The room is spacious and the breakfast is great. I would have liked the water in the shower to come out stronger (room 6021).

The hotel has disappointed me:
1-We had the entrance at 14 and the room was not ready
2-Resting after lunch open the door waking us from the nap as a girl's voice said to check ... what?
3-We are left in a room of 3 only 2 towels
4-the plug of the bathroom fallen with the wires to the air ....
The best location and the one that when arriving and not being the room had a detail inviting us a beer

It was my first time in Madrid with my wife and it was a very pleasant experience, an excellent decision to have chosen them. Friendly and attentive staff The room we loved!

Good hotel for price. The airport does not have its own limousine service, but reserves the car if you pay. There is a park in the town where you can walk, and the Prado Museum after the Retiro Park. You can get to the city center by bus or taxi. You can ask for the bus number at the hotel reception. The entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to find and breakfast is poor compared to the size and level of the hotel. There is a supermarket near the hotel and a Chinese restaurant. There is also a limousine bus stop from the city to the airport right in front of the hotel.

Loud construction noise nearby. Otherwise a good stay

Some relatives were a few days ago, the treatment of the excellent staff as well as the habiltacones, we had something in the cafeteria and everything perfect, recommended to stay in Madrid has everything nearby and public transport.

Very good choice, I stayed for 2 nights with my family and the relation quality price very good, near the metro and very close to the tapas and canes area of Madrid.

Macro hotel quality relation acceptable price, semi-detached restaurant very expensive, they have mobile, to use that it deletes all your personal information, good full buffet style breakfast

The best breakfast that I've tasted. Full of different varieties of food and sweets. I highly recommend trying the Spanish omelet of the hotel, it is excellent. In addition to having a sweet cart that has donuts and pancakes has even the most expensive coffee. One last.

Great change with the reform executed, impeccable decoration, breakfast buffet very complete. For me it has some negative point with the cleaning and maintenance of some area as for example, the gums of the shower would also put stick to the little power of the water in the shower.

Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Most of the staff speaks English. Play area for children makes it kid friendly as well.

Cool!! Everything clean and picked up upon arrival. With coffee in the room, fridge with free water, and TV 50 "more you can ask ??? For some fault ... I would say the door was very hard to open and close and when we arrived the cleaners did not close well and the room was open, luckily we did not steal anything .... But ... I do not know ....

Excellent hotel: well located and comfortable. The breakfast is complete. It has a swimming pool, massage and gym areas, plus a refreshing lemon service in the lobby and in the rooms for coffee, tea, water and a small bar.

I liked the situation and I loved both the service and the facilities.

I went alone to take the UNIR exams, but we had study rooms set up from early in the morning, free bottles of water throughout the day, mechanical pencils, folios ... We even had lucky cookies!
