We very much appreciated the complimentary upgrade to the Junior Suite, we liked its decor, furniture and overall setting. However, we expected some other things from a 5 star hotel like yours: fresh flowers (at least in the lobby, like they have at InterContinental or Hilton Athenee Plaza), a nicer spa and a better place to have breakfast.

Spacious, very clean rooms.Really quiet hotel despite the location.Very close to old city and other touristic objectives.Breakfast was very good.For 5 stars you should have a more critical eye over suronding detail.

The rooms and hotel are decorated in antique design.
Very small spa, large Jacuzzi, weak currents, dry sauna, this is it.
Breakfast that fits 3 stars and below, little selection and small quantities. I expect such a luxurious hotel to have as much egg as I wish.
Deluxe room suitable for a couple, good space.
The service is courteous and good.

A beautifully decorated hotel in central Bucharest. The staff were efficient and helpful but the standard of the facilities was not five star. There was inconsistent replenishment of the in-room refreshments. Our original room had a large crack in the area above the curtain and the toilet door didn't exist. Both rooms we stayed in had rather awful large sinks which took up most of the bathroom and had very poor drainage - particularly horrible when brushing your teeth.

The Spa itself was great with a large hot tub and Finnish sauna. There was inconsistent provision of towels and robes and the staff were not always as friendly as they could be - again lowering my view from five to four star hotel rating.

The breakfast buffet was extensive with options for sparkling wine and freshly cooked omelettes. Coffee was also quite good. Bread was not the best and often a little stale. Staff were hyper attentive and very nice.

FANTASTIC location, very centrally located near old town and museum district. Very nice and knowledgeable staff (helped us with many reservations, taxis, etc.), nice sized and elegant room, breakfast was spot on every day (with prosecco), modern bathrooms, 24 hour bar, serene outdoor patio/ chill spot to enjoy company and drinks. We stayed for 4 days and would completely come back again. Oh and the spa is complimentary with stay (treatments affordable as well)

We decided to organize the most important event of our life (wedding) at Grand Hotel Continental. If we could repeat the experience 10 times, we would do it all here! Everything was great. Services, consultancy, planning. Thanks to all the staff!

Accomodation conditions ok. Serving restaurant 2 lei. The hotel should train the staff better, have no experience and do not know how to serve a customer. He is incompetent for the reputation he has.

Into the centre of Bucharest city and it was a lovely stay with them for 3 days. I loved the Hotel Interiors and the big rooms. Easily accesiable if you are in new in the city.

Excellent hotel next to the historic center of bucharest, a stone's throw from the nightlife ... Very refined and well-kept interiors, excellent catering, service and staff ... Conference room and bookable meeting room ... worth what it costs! Possibility of reserved parking.

Great place and is a five star hotel with continental food and is just a 5 min walkaway from National Museum of Art Romania.

Very nice hotel. For us the air conditioning was not enough, it was quite warm thereby in the room. All in all, but gladly again.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the city, walking distance to numerous good restaurants in all price categories . It has a spacious old work charm - large rooms, high ceilings and period furniture -but with all the modern conveniences. The included breakfast is first rate and the staff are friendly helpful and efficient . Highly recommend .

The best hotel in Bucarest . We love this place. The rooms are big and comfortable. The design is classic but sophisticated and gorgeous.

Less parking spaces..they were taken over entirely by the town hall ..

Very nice historical building, excellent starting point for city walking tours. Interior also very nice, just some things would be good to reconstruct or change, for example the elevator.
