Nice old building, nice rooms. Unfortunately partly not of the standard one expects from a luxury hotel. Partly in need of renovation. Service very mixed; Some employees (e.g. SPA reception) have no idea of professional hotel service (unfriendly, hardly look up from their cell phone when you walk past, ...).
Other employees (e.g. service manager (?) Bistro) was great. Total It wasn't bad, but wouldn't go there again.

Nice place in the modern old fashioned sense. Totally refurbed but has an old world vibe. Room was so big the TV was so far away! First world problem. Didn't eat here but everything else was good. Nice central location too. Recommended.

Probably one of the best hotels that you may choose in Bucharest for a wonderful stay in this amazing city from the gates of the Balkans...
This hotel is very elegant, it has five stars and the building is a patrimonial one it was built in an eclectic style after the plans of a famous architect named Rittern Forster in 1886 he has chosen to decorate this objective with a lot of Barocco and Rococo elements who give to the entire structure a great appearance.
Do not hesitate! You will discover here some awesome well-done services, able, polite people who have always a discreet smile just for you, a small pool, conference rooms and so on!
In front of the hotel on the right side, you may see the bust of a great Albanian leader named Ismail Qemal(i) Vlora, the founder and the father of modern Albania, a charismatic character who stayed for a few days in this splendid hotel in November 1912. The artwork is signed Artan Hajdari an Albanian sculptor from Tirana, the capital of this small but very brave state!

A 5* Boutique hotel with a really great team in the front desk. The Victoria Club bar is quite unique in Romania. The 5'o clock tea is an experience you can find only in UK. The fine dining restaurant is something that can make your dinner a special one anytime!

Beautifully decorated room in a great location just outside the old town and near to lots of major landmarks in Bucharest. We walked to the people's palace within 15 minutes and were able to walk in to the old town within 5 minutes. Revolution square is a couple of minutes walk away as well. We had drinks at the bar and these were brilliant! Definitely worth a visit to the terrace for an evening cocktail before dinner if you get the chance.

Excellent structure furnished with style, excellent common areas, the rooms are also very spacious, the spa and the restaurant are of a good standard.
Very central location, excellent cleanliness and above all very professional and courteous staff.
The structure offers cars with private drivers with whom it is possible to organize tours in the regions of Romania, as well as of course services to and from the airport and the city.
Excellent value for money!
