Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel is located near the Arena, opposite a metro station. The decor is old but the beds are comfortable. No water bottle, no kettle, no air conditioning, few electrical outlets and they are far from the bedside tables. The TV is misplaced, angled .... The room and bathroom are well lit. There is storage. The carpet is stained but it's clean. Despite the proximity to the train station, it is very quiet

Very disappointed, when we presented ourselves with more available rooms supposedly technical problem, but they are overbooked, I strongly recommend it.
It looks like old building converted in to hotel. Bercy metro station is just 30 feet away. Paris Gare de Leon is 5 min away which is one of the three major railway station in Paris. Indian food restaurant named Rajasthan is just 10 feet away. Complimentary morning breakfast served at 7:30 which is comparatively late. Connectivity vise it is the best.
Very average room ... But the breakfast was sumptuous !!! Viennese pastries in particular! The hotel is well located, very convenient after watching a concert. But the rooms are really average ...
Rooms with mold, after asking for a room change, I was mocked in French, but I immediately pointed out that I understood them. I was threatened that for the room change they would ask Booking to credit the room change cost. Already open report on booking. To avoid
Good hotel but not exceptional. Very welcome and well located 10 meters metro Bercy. On the other hand the rooms are a little awake and the night too expensive (150 ) even for Paris.
A very good telephone reception which made me choose this hotel. On the other hand, a real disappointment on our arrival: the rooms are dated (carpets and plumbing in the bathroom to be reviewed), the air conditioning did not work, in the middle of a heatwave week! We must have had over 30 degrees in the (attic) room !! The horror ... The staff were unable to operate it. For 140 per night, and a hotel with 3 "stars", I would recommend that they review their equipment and the quality of their services. Fortunately, we were reimbursed quickly.
Although the hotel is geographically well located (near the metro among others) the value for money is excessive! Dirty and run down hotel
The room if you can call it that ... is tiny, the carpet is dirty and stained, dust is everywhere and so the smell of damp mold in the bathroom is more than important! The paint on the shower ceiling is peeling from the humidity, the edges of the shower are dirty and full of dust. The noise of the trains is present, the rooms are not isolated from the noise so we can hear our neighbors of rooms. The mirror on the wall does not stop moving because of the vibrations in the wall and it makes a permanent noise in the room. No plug near the bed. Average staff. Broken elevator. Continuous sound of water flowing in the pipes right next to the headboard. 1 socket available ...
Only positive point, the bedding is correct in terms of comfort. If I could not have put stars I would have done it .... run away!
Very helpful staff and a nice place close to the arena. Would recommend this place to anyone. I had a problem with my card and the staff were very patient with me whilst I sorted it out
OK for the bare minimum room with some noise. Just ok for the breakfast (because cups particularly dirty). I advise for a professional stop not for holidays in Paris.
The Claret Hotel is in an excellent location with respect to the metro and Gare de Lyon, which allows you to move comfortably to the areas of greatest interest. The rooms are welcoming and the staff are attentive to the needs of the customers. Quiet area.
Excellent location metro a few steps from the back of the hotel near the train station and the train station of Bercy home and pleasant service of the hotel receptionist very well maintained.
Can not .. because once there was 19h just before the concert .. we were told no room techniques..donc problems .. overbooking attention ... frankly .. inconcevable..je think that they are doing the beds fly hehehe ..
Dirty carpet in the room stained. I think I have to pay for a superior room that looks like a room for a student. I think the 9m regulatory square was not even respected. A view of courtyard or the waste of neighbors ??? I was stung on the arm by something. I am not made of scandals. I did not get carried away because I think I would have been very mean. Breakfast at 14 euros that are not worth it. In short a fiasco I'm going to stop there because we can do some pages.
DO NOT GO AT THIS HOTEL. I don't know where it got its 3 stars from but it is barely a two stars to me. For the price you'll have a highway under your poorly isolated window in an overheated bedroom with uncomfortable bed. Shower curtains is in option as well as the water pressure, in case you had the weird idea to take a shower in a hotel. I am gonna pass on the am courtesy of the staff: after all it is Paris if you want French courtesy go anywhere but not in this city. And finally the best part is to have the breakfast only starting at 7. Ultra useful when the train for which you endure all the above LEAVES at 7. I am glad I got breakfast included in my booking though.
1. One receptionist was extremely rude when we complained about our room answering that no one ever complained about this room and that we were the problem 2. We were on the last floor, and as we opened the window we found an old wine bottle and a lot of dirt. It took them 2 and a half days to clean it 3. We couldn't sleep at night because the train station was to loud, and the window isn't soundproof 4. There was a vomit stain on the carpet floor, and the room was still smelling. 5. The walls were extremely dirty 6. We had ants in the bathroom One sunday, as we left, there was a new very young receptionist. It was her first day. Not one single person form the time was there to guide her, and every person leaving the hotel, left it with a complain. We finally got to talk to one of the hotel managers over the phone who promised that he would take care of everything monade first thing in the morning as we left the hotel very disappointed on sunday. He promised us compensation as we paid 555euros for 4 nights and were very unhappy Not only did they forgot about us, but I had to call them back on Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon, I got an email from the director, apologising, saying that he sanctioned the receptionist (he fired her before he got my complain - but anyway, its not that we get any satisfaction for it), he inspected the room, did a treatment against the ants but that there wasn't a nauseous smell, hoping we will come back. I replied to his email, attached with pictures of every single complain. They didn't even bother to answer anymore. This hotel is a shame as much as The management team ! It is absolutely not clean, not comfortable and not worth it ! Keep your money !!!!
Pleasant stay and short stay. Room was clean and large. However, the stairwell and reception area could do with a bit of a freshing up! - it gave a poor impression when arriving at a 3 star hotel.
HS TV, little better bedding, poor service, poor cleanliness, HS heating. Household rag forgotten on the console, the packet of cigarettes from the old customer at the edge of the window .... And the cleaning had been done! I advise against.
The hotel is well placed, close to the metro and Bercy. But otherwise I did not find it very well maintained, there was no light in the stairwell that we had to borrow because the elevator was limited to two people. Also, there was a very strong smell of cold tobacco in my non-smoking room, which did not leave me the weekend even after airing the room. The toilets were stuck to the sink, not practical at all. The walls are very thin, hear all that happens in the rooms next door and in the hallway. I will not come back.
Near the hotel Arena agreement, double glazed room, excellent bedding, clean bathroom and nice staff, a flat on the old (dirty and cracked carpet, damaged paint, breakfast a little expensive (14euros) with food of average quality : frozen bread and croissant, orange juice in bricks, washed coffee)
Ideal hotel for proximity to the hotel arena agreement. Nice staff. However, big soundproofing problem, noisy bed when moving, looks like plastic sheets. Big downside: breakfast at 14 euros per person, we expect to have a choice but no. Empty pastry baskets, no breads, broken toaster. Much more choice at the Formula 1 area. In addition, after paying the bill when we arrived, we realized that there were 2 other breakfast options much cheaper! Thank you for telling us when we made our reservation! Passable hotel for one night, no more!
Deplorable. When we arrived at the hotel, a "technical incident" had occurred which meant that there were no more rooms for us. Of course we expected to notify us by phone, right when we arrived (probably we were too fast ....). Shameful. Beware of the overbooking of this establishment which has no qualms. Strongly discouraged, prefer kyriad
Hotel far from worth its 3 stars room carpet and protects mattress dirty peeling paint bathroom antiquated enamelled bathtub without curtain odor sewer breakfast no home not worth its 14 euros bad coffee Exorbitant price compared to the service offer to strongly advise against
Room suitable. However, the one I got was full of ants. No solution was found to this problem when I shared it with employees. My booking stipulated that I had paid for a room and bathroom with bath, which was not my surprise seeing that it was a shower room, with a shower almost unusable, the curtain being blocked at middle, and so small she is. I also told the receptionist, who spoke to her boss who was very understanding and who was immediately arranged to offer me an arrangement. We expect a little more for a 3 star hotel, but it is still suitable ...
The price of the room was very high for the quality offered. The hotel is quite old. But the staff is friendly. Recommendation: never book the room that is in the attic.
Little embellished hotel, small and inconvenient room but we easily give 4 stars, not for the aesthetic quality but for the sympathy and professionalism of the staff! For Paris, the price is worth it!
Hotel staff listening and welcoming but other big fault (a single plug and far from the bed in the room, poor quality food stained carpet ... short for 70 the night was expensive, I would have paid less in a formula 1 and he would have had the same benefits if not better
Hotel very old, carpet stained, no air conditioning in my room. We paid way too much considering the quality of this hotel. The breakfast is mediocre: products that are not quality and little choice. I strongly advise against
It was fine for a place to sleep for the night, but breakfast was underwhelming for 14 euros and the floor of the room was pretty dirty. Probably wouldn't stay again except for the fact that it was very close to the train station.
I stayed on July 2014 Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. I also posted two images of our room. 1. NO Air Conditioner 2. Window facing interior of building so no air flow even with window open 3. They only provide one cheap 3 speed fan that helps very little. We had to argue and beg to get a second fan. 4. Looks nothing like the picures on expedia 5. only one outlet, so can only have the tv on or fans on at one time 6. Terrible service 7. Terrible neighborhood, get back before dark 8. Very dirty rug/carpet could hardly breathe 9. The only plus is next to a metro
I slept well but my boyfriend heard every noise in the hotel. Then the shower did not have a curtain so the whole bathroom gets flooded. Rooms are not as nice as in the picture but the service was good and it's okay if you want to save some money.
Very welcome, the establishment a bit dated, our room 305 adjusted to the elevator, noisy. Breakfast good. Good value for money. Well placed for Parisian visits. Metro at the door of the hotel. Restaurants nearby.
