A very poor animation, there was no shameful fun for a 4-star hotel, the rest was good but the entertainment has screwed you

A beautiful property, friendly staff, good food, wonderful rooms

On impotence, the full concept of the hotel, nothing to discuss. From the pitches, to the pools, to the private platform on the sea.
But if I have to commend the people in particular who have gladdened my stay as a guest in this structure, making me feel at HOME, the first Thanks goes to Maitre Carmelo, empathetic, zealous as never before in his work, at the level of the various Maitre that I met in my penta-starred stays. The waiters, from Federico to Carmelo, humble and meticulous for my gluten intolerance. Heartfelt thanks for your work! I would go back just for you !!

Structure difficult to visit because full climbs and very steep and slippery descents, without access for disabled people and baby carriages.

The structure is very nice but unfortunately nothing is taken care of, the cleaning leaves something to be desired and the courtesy at the reception does not completely know what it means. On the phone I was told that at 2:00 pm I would take possession of the room but until 3:30 pm still nothing. I was very disappointed with the room I expected a lot more I had the internal balcony but it overlooked a mountain that had nothing nice also there was no light and until 1 am I remained in the dark without being able to take a shower and without being able to use the air conditioner. Only after my insistence did they change my room but no one deigned to apologize. But that's not all because the next day they didn't let me find the room unmade bed unmade tablecloths not changed and bathroom not clean. After yet another complaint, they came out with a bottle of prosecco and a plate of fruit. I just wanted them to tell me lady "SORRY"

Superb! I spent my last birthday in this fantastic resort with my best friend: we had a great time and we will definitely be back! Excellent service, breathtaking view, modern and truly beautiful structure and very kind and super helpful staff. Even the lunch buffet lived up to expectations, with a wide choice of first, second and exquisite side dishes.

Beautiful location, breathtaking views, very beautiful structure. But it suffers from poor maintenance and services not up to 4 stars. Sin. No wifi in the room, no TV, cleaning common places to be reviewed, external appearance to be improved, buffet restaurant

People speak well of you because they don't know that you don't pay salaries to staff who worked without water and eating. I'm not saying that I worked even without days off. Shamefulaaaaaa ..

> clims similar to tractor engines that roar nonstop + we can hear all the neighbors (flushes, tv, discussions etc ...)
> Open-air DISCOTHEQUE in the hotel on Saturday evening, with hundreds of people who come from all over the island, who also sleep in the hotel, therefore noise, music etc until almost 4am and above all, we were not at all warned of this event.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the beautiful sea of the Ionian coast. Spacious and clean rooms, full HD TV (useless in such a nice place), royal breakfast. I highly recommend

A big flaw given everything else ...

We went on October 30th 2016 through a groupon offer, and the first thing I noticed, was the structure that seemed to be left to itself (lighting fixtures along the tennis courts and all broken football and gardening plants, uncultivated and dried)
however these are small things compared to what I am about to say:
1) double room with two mattresses mostly of different heights, and CRT television that could be seen only channel 5
2) the dinner was the one that upset me the most, never ate badly in my life and we're talking about a 4-star hotel (we left almost everything, except eating a bit of appetizer and ricotta cannoli)
3) the spa is the only thing that is worth it (the place is lovely but it too has recently been overlooked, sauna doors that don't close and showers knobs that come off automatically)
Probably they have changed management very recently, but I assure you that at this moment it is very bad

The structure itself is beautiful with all possible comforts ...
First negative point is the breakfast you have to have one
queue and wait up to 45 minutes' to be served.
Second negative point in the structure there is no control (personally it happened that there were guys who used the pool, who were guests of the opposite structure.)
Third negative point that there is no parking assigned with the room number ... In fact, when there is the evening they park inside, and guests have to look for a parking space with the risk of not finding or much further than the room causing inconvenience.

Mha structure neglected food not good .. clean rooms ... view of the wonderful kind staff we will definitely return especially for the spa center there are two masseuses I did the massage with both ... Ramona is very good super exceptional Ayurvedic massage excellent ... .the other and rather unsociable in a cold and detached way welcomes the massage that I made one of the most expensive but disappointing ... instead Ramona is excellent sociable smiling solar is a true professional good good with a capital B ..

Zero maintenance. Coincidentally (hardly credible) everything broke on Friday. The showers of the platform, the bidet of the Chamber, the outlets of the Chamber, the glass of the street lamps. Even the mold was completely randomly formed on Friday. It is not a four-star, but I miss two stars! Now I understand why they require upfront payment, otherwise after the first day people would run away.

Well I can't recomend this hotel. 4 stars ? never in my life... The hotel is dirty, we found mouse droppings on the balcony and ants in the room. The food was not fresh and the choice was very limited... but they call it intercontinental. I took few pictures of that intercontinental food. In the gym you can use only 2 devices of 6. Only one pool was open.
Positive: the location. Landscape is wonderful.

Wonderful place but the service leaves something to be desired

Beautiful facility. Very abundant lunch and guaranteed relaxation. The rooms are also very comfortable and spacious.

A TRUE DECEPTION
We booked through the agency for the ROMANTIC EVASION package which included accommodation + dinner + wellness path with Kneipp pools, Scottish shower, aromatherapy tub, flotation tank, drainage tank, sauna, hammam, relaxation area and herbal tea room. I specify that all this was reported not only in our brochure, but also on the hotel website and in the brochures at the hotel. After making agreements by phone about the time in which to make the wellness path, we introduce ourselves to the reception where the girl in front of us confirms the time. We settle in the room and go to the Spa. The poor girls welcome us and present us what we paid 150 euros per person for ... Of the tubs that have nothing on the Kneipp path ... Only jets of water but no pebbles ... 3 different types of tubs .. Cold, lukewarm and hot water in which the hydromassage nozzles are also broken ... Where half of them worked ... Where I am missing this. The flotation tank smelled bad. Many classic showers ... Of the beds to take herbal teas ... And the outdoor pools ... To our question about where the sauna and the Turkish bath were, we are told that ... The Turkish bath is broken and the sauna is not has existed for years. We went to the reception to speak with a manager who obviously is not there ... We ask to have an appointment for the next morning before leaving the hotel requesting a refund. In the evening we go to the restaurant where we were supposed to have a candlelit dinner ... Needless to say, we still wait to see the candle. It was a dinner where those who did not have the package ate buffet, while we had table service. Good food ... Too bad for the risotto, good but practically raw flavor. We decide to sit at the tables outside after dinner ... Old and broken chairs. In the morning we settle down to leave the room and I realize that I am not alone in the bathroom ... But an animal, a cockroach or what it was ... It was blissfully on the door jamb. We go to the reception to speak with the manager, a manager, someone who takes responsibility for managing an immense structure ... And we are told that it is Sunday and they cannot even be called. They offer us a dinner as a refund ... As if we wanted to cross Sicily again to return there. We reiterate our request for reimbursement and they refuse to say they leave the names so they would have refunded us no one knows how. Having no confidence at all and seeing the categorical refusal to speak with a manager ... Let's call the finance guard. And that's where the lady at the reception starts making a round of calls, because now it's finally possible. So at the suggestion of the finance guard, we have a sheet in which they undertake to pay the wellness program (which was 35 euros per person if I remember correctly). We decide to go anyway to the nearest financial guard ... It is by connecting during the trip, I see that they have deleted the word "sauna" from everywhere on their site ... Too bad that on Facebook and Instagram it was still possible to find these packages . In any case, they tell us that we can contact the competition guarantor. Because you can't sell something that you don't have at the expense of other structures. In the end they only refunded us 40 euros. It is a real shame because the structure is really huge, so much so that you have to travel with the car. The view is breathtaking, you look out from the balcony and you can only say Wow ... But you can't fool people, it's not fair. We had gone there to celebrate my birthday. But in the end we only felt cheated. We went away disappointed, very disappointed ... But definitely clean, after 90 minutes of showers.

Simply place for a thousand and one nights, with a postcard amphitheater on the sea and a cliff

Poor catering, buffets was short of food !!! Short of staff, no hot water on two occasions, doors dont lock and lacking maintenance. The place has huge potential !!

The rooms have a structural and functional deficiency, not 4 stars. The waiter service excellent, the cook delighted us with his tasty menus and the truly exceptional pastry chef, all the staff very kind and helpful.

The only positive note is the view. For the rest, no maintenance, staff who do their homework to the bare minimum and with no attention to guests, low-class canteen food.

Hotel with all conditions, great rooms,spa, pool, private beach, tennis and football field and saturdays disco on the old theater...but need to improve in wifi service, english language, quality of dinner (buffet 35e per person plus drinks) and minor works...overall good place to have holidays

The structure is very nice sin for the staff not up to it. I had requested an early check in, which was guaranteed to me, but when I arrived the receptionist took the documents, begging I to wait in the lobby without explaining to myself that the room was not ready, only after many requests did she explain to me that my room nn she was ready and assigned me another one. I had booked a wellness package and Hammam and sauna didn't work that day, the spa girls tell me to point this out to the reception that they would surely find a way to fix it. the reception promised us a voucher massage that nn there has ever been given. We have sent emails asking at least for explanations on the inefficiencies and we have been and ignored. Personal and third-class motel management. Sin! Excellent maintainers, trying to recover what their colleagues do not do, very kind especially Mr. Concept

I went to a night club here, and found little organization, security was not present and the worst thing is that they let in a lot, but more than twice as many people as they could contain, so imagine the disgust that comes it's created in there.

Lovely location but very bad structure, dirty rooms, never clean pools full of hair, the photos are old and misleading ... experience not to be redone ... not recommended for not talking about the food dishes served cold from the canteen very high prices. !!!!

The most shabby New Year's Eve dinner in my life dry and cold unpresentable starters wine from 1.00 tables piled up so much that the waiters could not easily reach the table. I asked if they could replace the wine by paying me they replied that they had no other wine, I drank water, overcooked pasta anyway, we paid 600 x 2 overnight stays and a good YEAR dinner for all staff.

We were delighted. The spa staff were great, and the restaurant as well, even the nicest staff. 10 fresh fish and all fish based food. This I recommend it to everyone, from my room a fantastic view.

Wonderful hotel in Sicily, located in the commune of Sant'Alessio Siculo, 10 kilometers from the city of Taormina. Paradise, romantic place on the Mediterranean coast.

Beautiful place excellent service and friendly staff, we have already stayed at this property and will certainly come back because it is very very nice and appealing.

Superb hotel with an exceptional view of Taormina, beautiful gardens. Most rooms are real suites. Only fault: the flow of water and its lukewarmness.

Hotel that must have been quite good but is lagging behind. Its location makes it have some very nice photos on the sea, but the hotel ... first that there is no elevator and they gave us a third floor! You just get your suitcases.
Afterwards there is no wifi in the hotel only in the reception and at this point you cannot be a 4 star without wifi
The room was not made until 5 in the afternoon
The air conditioning unit is shared with the rooms facing the sea but it is on our terrace so every time they put the air on the noise is in our room at the time they want ... incredible that I have to put up with the air noise from another room because mine is cheaper !!!!
The terrace must have been months without cleaning the layer of sand dust or whatever it was, it was big, but the rooms inside were clean

As a positive the breakfasts that are quite varied and the pools with good views over the sea, although it was full of teenagers.

10 fantastic days, spectacular hotel, friendly staff always available for any eventuality, and above all a huge thanks to the very good and friendly barman Rosario Longo with whom we have formed a wonderful relationship. We will definitely be back

We are in a very spacious family room on the ground floor very close to the dining room and the lobby.The rooms are located on a wide area and some of them are far away ... Staff service is good

The structure is very beautiful but abandoned and neglected over the years, poor quality food, waiters forced to work trying to ward off all the bad figures caused by bad management (finished coke, hard bread, smelly fish starters, extra hot cappuccino etc etc ...) lack of wifi throughout the hotel.
Instead, I would like to point out the kindness, courtesy and professionalism of Mrs. Laura from the spa, the maitre Carmelo and all the restaurant staff, as opposed to the reception staff who greets you.

You have the feeling that it is all a little abandoned to itself, but still a nice place. Rooms are clean and well maintained, even if the TV did not work. The girls of the Spa very kind.

Exceptional experience of absolute relaxation for 10 days. Swimming pool available 24h / 24, access to the dream sea with deck chairs and umbrellas. In the evening at the bar, spectacular cocktails amidst the experience of the barman Rosario Longo with the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff ... all accompanied by the music of Maestro Vito ready to satisfy every ear with his music !!!

Been here for 10 days.

The hotel is quite large, there are two swimming pools and a pontoon beach with a staircase entrance.
There are Russian speaking staff at the reception.
The rooms have a good view.
There is free parking on site.

Cons:
- the air conditioner constantly broke down, I had to go to the reception several times and ask to fix it; and that the master had to go 2-3 times;
- there is no telephone in the room, so if you need something, you have to go to the reception every time. Moreover, at the reception they said that they would bring the phone, but they safely forgot about it;
- the hotel itself is already quite old, which is often striking.
- for the arrival of a group of 200 beauty contest participants and their relatives, the catering staff were not ready, from the word AT ALL. At breakfast there was no food, not even glasses for drinking :)
- Wi-fi in the room is considered not working. In the best case, you can correspond via the messenger, no more.
- shampoo / shower gel is sometimes not put at all, or they give one small jar for two in the room;
- you may not get towels by the pool, because there is no one to give them.
- a vacuum cleaner was floating in the pool all days, they did not clean it after cleaning the pool at night;
- after cleaning the rooms, the cleaning ladies are very fond of putting garbage and dirty linen right at the entrance to the rooms;
