Very upscale ambience, unfortunately there were problems with the WLAN on our floor. Very nice and helpful staff and from the breakfast room you can look directly at Lake Constance and the mountains behind. All in all, the hotel is highly recommended.

Everything was great, breakfast was huge. Staff really friendly!

We were very disappointed with the hotel. Breakfast was good and the location is great too. Unfortunately we got a room in the back yard. From 7:00 a.m. it was so loud that we couldn't sleep. Also, our television didn't work every now and then. Although we reported this to the service staff several times, there was no response and we did not receive an apology. In addition, everything was very old-fashioned and many little things were missing, which in our opinion should not be missing in a 5 star hotel. Definitely not worth 5 stars and way too expensive. Too bad.

Pleasant hotel overlooking Lake Constance. The cuisine is also good at reasonable prices.

We look at Lake Bodensee and relax in our room.
The bedrooms are separate rooms.
Bathroom and shower were also good.
As it is group trip, we can not choose room, but seems to hit sweet room.

Everything perfect. Is older but I felt very well. Only the internet did not work. Swimming pool is great, obviously renovated.

For those who have invincible lake views, you can look at the coffee shop in the hotel, or take a walk along the lake and jog. The night view is beautiful.
The breakfast was quite generous, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the accommodation was very satisfactory.

We were in the bar around 8pm today. The wait staff was so rude and outrageous when it came to ordering us a taxi that we went without a drinks order.
Unfortunately, I only rate one person and not the quality of the bar or hotel, but the behavior was so outrageous that I can not leave it uncommented.

Unfortunately, no 5-star level (bathroom too small, no counter space in the bathroom, TV small, sauna and pool cumbersome separated, as only accessible via corridor, unfortunately no whirlpool or massage jets)

The location is located on the island of Lindau, opposite the train station, next to the port area promenade, although the old building, but the equipment has been updated, the service staff is friendly, recommended hotel.

The hotel location is very good, and from the outside it looks very nice. We had a room with a good view of the marina.

However for a 5* hotel for which we paid 292 for one night I was disappointed. For such a price a customer should expect excellency which the hotel did not provide. Here a few points that need to be improved:

- The check in was not very friendly or service orientated
- There was a note in the room from 1 employee to another employee complaining about shifts
- The bathroom was not 100% clean (hairs in the bath)
- 5 minutes into the room, someone came in to fill up the minibar, this should have been done before!
- In the bathroom there is a open spot in the floor where water from the shower passes, the look of this represents a 1* hotel.
- We visited a wedding that day in the hotel, despite the group not being that large, they were not able to serve the food at a good pace. 1/3 of the 70 guests had already finished the dinner whilst another 1/3 was still waiting for their food. (it was a menu with only 2 options)
- Some people at the restaurant service were really good and friendly, but a few need improvement. When asking for more water you don't simply put a closed bottle on the table, you open it and poor some water into the glasses!
- For some non-alcoholic drinks for the children we waited half an hour
- Breakfast could have a few more things to choose from

Generally this is not a bad hotel, but for such a price it only deserves a 2 star rating.

We are benefitting from the outstanding services of your hotel when traveling to our winter vacation in Austria. It is a pleasure we do not want to miss. No suggestions for further improvements, your hotel is one of the best we know (and we visited many across the globe).

Would have expected more for the price. Room was big but the carpet has seen better years. You can only take a shower if you climb over the high edge of the bathtub. Breakfast is ok.

Really great hotel with a very good location on the lake is really very very beneficial.

I only eat here with my family the restaurant only the waiters were good and for the rest it was very expensive for almost nothing the fries was not fries but just salt there was sand between the lettuce and you get small portions if you order something like one of my family members had cheese with olives and bread and they get 4 mini sandwiches and a few cubes of cheese two olives so don't eat here. It is a waste of money

Very good salads and Maultaschen and you sit great outside overlooking Lake Constance. Nice and attentive service.

Affordable luxury on the shores of the Bodensee.

This was our view from breakfast, which was excellent, including everything from Mettwurst to Frosted Flakes. The room was nicely outfitted with a refrigerator and functional AC. Friendly staff. Parking onsite for an additional cost.

The best was definitely the pool, we were there every day, the fitness room was also allowed. Very friendly staff at check-in and at breakfast! The room was fine, very clean and well maintained. We had booked specially at the inner courtyard, since our sleep is the most important thing and that should be quite dark and quiet.
Breakfast was okay, but the "surprise factor" was missing, every day was the same.
The beds were unfortunately very hard for us, the first two nights we slept terribly and we thought about going home earlier. The staff gave us an additional pad and winter blankets for the mattress, so you could lie down painlessly. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. The Corona measures could be carried out better, there were people with cold symptoms at breakfast.

A little more expensive, but certainly appropriate for the location right on the harbor and the good kitchen. The Schnitzel was a bliss. Both the schnitzel itself and the fries as well as the salad. That was almost a noble schnitzel with chips.
During the meal we were able to watch how the ships came in and out.

This is a very nicely updated old hotel. Beautiful and clean rooms. Great location right on the water. Close to everything.

Spend just one night. Got a room with a view and it was clean, airy and so luminous.

Very clean run hotel with nice wellness and outdoor area on an exclusive Lage.Der fitness area unfortunately more than poor! The food is excellent. The service, however, very inattentive, forgetful and the little filled restaurant. Conclusion with five stars absolutely overrated, but certainly worth a visit !!

This is an exceptional hotel. I have stayed here at least once a year since 2012 and look forward to each visit very much. The location on the harbour front at Lindau looking over Bodensee towards the Austrian alps is superb. What is particularly outstanding about this hotel is the warm and extremely professional service. To achieve this level of service consistently over a six-year period is quite something!

It is a great hotel with great views but everything is adding extra cost to the reservation. Parking, breakfast, visitor taxes (it is the first time I see visitor taxes being added on a German hotel) and even the spa usage rate (which I never used) is added to the cost. I think all of these things should be included on the room rate. However, the service is truly outstanding and the staff is really nice. The breakfast, although crazy expensive (15 euros for cheese, ham, coffee, fruit and bread... seriously?) is good, and the views and location of the hotel really are worth it. It was a nice experience but if you re traveling on business purposes I wouldn t recommend it, heavy traffic everyday to go into the Island and plus you can t take advantage of all the commodities in the hotel. For leisure I would definitely recommend it.

Friendly service we had only 40 minutes time because of the last ship thanks to the waiter and the service everything came quickly and freshly prepared on the table delicious foot plates and pies

Great location right in front of the port of Lindau, you will for sure enjoy the stunning view from the room or from the restaurant/breakfast room.
Walking distance to everywhere on the small island.
Rooms are big enough and comfortable, in a very old fashioned style (you have to like it though).
Although rated 5 star, I would only rate it as a good 4 star hotel - attention to details is not there, and bar is closing very early.
Limited amenities in the room.
Variety at breakfast is appreciated.
Seminar rooms are also on good level and the bigger rooms enjoy the view to the port.

Cakes and food are mostly very good here. Due to the wonderful location directly at the port of Lindau there is always a lot going on and sometimes you are just a number because of that. The prices are okay for this location.

The stay with you was beautiful and satisfactory, as always.

The food was bad except for the salad. The sauce for the chanterelles was similar to that of a mediocre canteen. According to the waitress, there were no more chips available. After we ate, the people sitting next to us suddenly had fresh fries. There was no concession on request. Too bad.

Very nice reception, nice suite, breakfast ample offer. Unfortunately for a short stay, could not use the spa area. Again any time.

Very nice hotel, great suite and the view is great. Always come back to the hotel. Breakfast selection is not very big but has everything you need and it tastes good. Would find a coffee machine in the room great.

Good location right on the lake. The service staff was completely overwhelmed and long waiting times, for such a hotel / restaurant I expect more.

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because everything we wanted wasn't there anymore.

Although the building is old, it is very well maintained. Excellent location. Everything is clean and tidy. Must try their breakfast. It is not overwhelming you with different items of food but all foods are fresh and good quality.

The Christmas dinner on December 24 was excellent, the hotel staff are very welcoming, the restaurant service is also very good.

A very good restaurant, but the menu at the festival time is more than tight. If you still want an aperitif, a marathon will be sure to reach the water taxi safely.

Elegant hotel very well located but only one downside: no parking neither at the hotel, nor around. Difficult to park the car especially in WE when the Swiss come to do their shopping in Germany, because .... cheaper.

Ver nice hotel. Location on the lake is great. Everything is clean. The interior design is special, I would call it outdated, but other people like it. Great to have a pool inside and outside.

Great hotel. It's right down by the harbor. From the breakfast room you look directly at the Lindau harbor entrance. The Lindau Harbor Christmas is currently set up right next to the hotel and is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The hotel is very clean, friendly welcome, overall very friendly staff. A few steps from the hotel, almost just around the corner, there is both an underground car park and outdoor parking spaces. There are also single garages for your Ferrari or Bentley or similar. :-)
My room even had outside shutters.
I was more than satisfied and would stay there again at any time.

On the sun terrace, we enjoyed a perfect ice cream or coffee and cake and enjoyed the great view of the harbor and Lake Constance.
The walk to the toilet gave a little insight into the beautiful hotel

We booked a simple room. It is still very spacious with a bathtub. I suspect that breakfast is always included. The breakfast is very good and there was a bit of everything. Cappuccino, late night, milk coffee, all of this can be ordered free of charge for breakfast. The breakfast restaurant has a view of the lake. The hotel is very centrally located and has an underground car park for 18 night.
The swimming pool (inside) is very clean and modern. Sauna area very nice. Finschie sauna was 93 degrees. Steam sauna was also very good.
From the hotel to Friedrichshafen to the Zepelin Museum (highly recommended!) It is only a 15-minute drive. You cannot park in front of the museum, but at the same time there is an old town parking lot just around the corner (that's what it's called).

I've been coming back to this hotel for years. The location is simply unbeatable and the view from the pools to the harbor is just great. The bathrooms could slowly be modernized. For me, the hotel just has a special charm, despite small flaws. The breakfast room with a view of the harbor is also beautiful and the service fits.
