The hotel location is very good, and from the outs...

The hotel location is very good, and from the outside it looks very nice. We had a room with a good view of the marina.

However for a 5* hotel for which we paid 292 for one night I was disappointed. For such a price a customer should expect excellency which the hotel did not provide. Here a few points that need to be improved:

- The check in was not very friendly or service orientated
- There was a note in the room from 1 employee to another employee complaining about shifts
- The bathroom was not 100% clean (hairs in the bath)
- 5 minutes into the room, someone came in to fill up the minibar, this should have been done before!
- In the bathroom there is a open spot in the floor where water from the shower passes, the look of this represents a 1* hotel.
- We visited a wedding that day in the hotel, despite the group not being that large, they were not able to serve the food at a good pace. 1/3 of the 70 guests had already finished the dinner whilst another 1/3 was still waiting for their food. (it was a menu with only 2 options)
- Some people at the restaurant service were really good and friendly, but a few need improvement. When asking for more water you don't simply put a closed bottle on the table, you open it and poor some water into the glasses!
- For some non-alcoholic drinks for the children we waited half an hour
- Breakfast could have a few more things to choose from

Generally this is not a bad hotel, but for such a price it only deserves a 2 star rating.
