Hotel Atenea Aventura Review

Great hotel we spent an evening night and mixed up at the hotel we were very welcome and the perfect room.

All very well. Rooms, comfort and attention. 100% recommended

Correct room, very good dinner, and the treatment in general and especially the waiters of the restaurant very good.
Spa correct although a little small, and the masseuse very good!

We have been 15 days ago. Two adults and two girls, 13 and 10 years old. Perfect room, double bed and two singles for the girls. Spacious bathroom. Pool more than correct for when you return from the park to take a dip.
Located in a quiet area less than 5 minutes by car from Port Aventura.
In the area there are several cafes and bars to have a drink (drinks or dinner).
If you want hustle and bustle, in 10 minutes you are in Salou.
Very correct, sweet and salty breakfast. Hot dishes. As soon as something was finished they replaced it (I have been in low season ... in high season I do not know).
Free Wifi running on phones and tablets without any problem.
My level of demand is normal ... I don't go looking for spiders in the bathrooms, nor do I look under the beds ...
To put a mistake, maybe warm room when you come back from being all day in the park. You put the air in but it takes time to cool ...

Modern and quiet hotel next to Port Aventura. The room was very good and clean. The great pool, where we were given a welcome cocktail. Next door there is an avenue with bars and shops. I would repeat without a doubt

Lot's of reasons why this could be a good hotel. But if you cannot sleep then what's the point. No AIRCONDITIONING!! The whole building is sharing the same airsystem and because a week earlier it was colder they switched it to hot air. Very noisy inside the building and 24h reception failed to keep it down. The room was 26+ degrees and to open the window i had to go down and ask because they pulled out the lever so i can't open the window myself. Outside very noisy but it's so hot i need the window open. Tomorrow i have to go to the airport early and i hope i can catch some sleep but there are a few hours left... it's the middle of the night. Bathroom is poorly cleaned and have seen better at 2 star hotels. 4 star hotel... no way!! So sad because there are a lot of good things about this place. Not worth the price.

Four star hotel. Our stay was 3 days to visit Port Aventura.
Rather I give it a 3 star. The spacious rooms without terrace and failure in various maintenance details such as bed base, mattresses, damaged furniture, etc. Fair bathroom fixtures.
Good location for a few days and visit Por Aventura.

It is a new hotel, has family rooms, which are also communicated inside if you are more than 4 people, a wonderful and very close attention PortAventura, only 30 min walk, a walk, is great and highly recommended

We arrived to the hotel late in the evening, after a long journey from our home country of Czech Republic.

The hotel itself is situated by one of the main streets, and is rather close to the main city's train station, which is only about 10-15 minutes of walk away.

Entering the hotel, the first thing that greeted us was the luxurious interior that, at first sight, was something to behold. The incredibly high ceiling in the main hall took my breath away! It was all nicely decorated, giving the place an overall nice look.

Then, the sir that ran the reception during the night, was simply incredible! Over the few days (3 nights) we've spent there, he has always been super helpful, even beyond common expectations. Always smiling, joking, trying to give us tips and asking how our day has been. If I were the hotel's manager, I'd give the guy a raise! He provided us with a map of Vila Seca, brochures of the Porta Aventura theme park and even showed us around the main room, all while speaking fluent english, as well as spanish.

Aside from the night time receptionist, the lady in the morning was also cheerful, and gladly helped us get a cab to the near amusement park (As the operators at the line did not speek English, which to me, is a bit weird, but whatever)

The hotel itself features roughly ten stories of rooms. Our was situated on the first floor which was a little disappointing, but nevertheless, at least we did not have to use the elevator every time.

Coming to the room, we were greeted with the single little thing that I didn't like at this hotel - For some reason, the whole room smelled of fish. Later, I discovered that that was probably thanks to the previous people who seemed to have stored fish produce in the provided mini-fridge that simply reeked of the stuff.

The room itself was more than enough spacious, with a single queen-sized double-bed, three pillows and a thin sheet that served as a blanket during the hot seasons.

Next, the room contained a wide table, a single average-sized Samsung TV with a broad selection of programs in different languages (Some of which were Spanish, English, Russian, Italian, French, German), and a kettle, as well as a little assortment of coffee and tea.

The only other major thing in the main bedroom was the wardrobe, that contained a digital safe to secure one's priceful posessions.

And a last nice little benefit were the light switches right above the night tables, that let one easily switch off the main room light from the comfort of bed.

Then, the other room was, of course, the bathroom.

In our case, it contained a sink with some basic amenities (Shower gel, shampoo and a block of soap), and a bathtub with a small glass panel to shield the spraying water in case you wanted to only take a shower.

That being the room, the only other thing I can talk about were the breakfasts. I bought one only on the last day, when we were leaving, and oh my, they did surprise me! One could choose from a wide assortments of fruit, bread, butter, jam, chocolate, sweet pastries as well as warm dishes (the names of which I do not know), and finish it with a glass of nice, cold fruit juice (Orange, multi-vitamin or pineapple) or a coffee.

Overall, I'd give this hotel a well deserved 10/10, coming off-season meant the price was great, and I think we got more than the expected value for our money back!

Hotel quite interesting, but if several Spanish families come to spend the night there, do not expect to sleep before the small hours, the noise is quite hellish, indeed the atrium makes resound everything up to the last floor, different way of life obliges

A good hotel, with the rate includes spa and saunas, welcome glass of cava.

Constant noise that comes out of the devices of the air although you have it off and to sleep it bothers a lot. We ask for a room change and the noise is the same. Although at least it improved the mattress, since they were very old. And the spa on Friday and Saturday did not work the Caldera and it was with cold water. The rest is fine, but of course if you do not sleep well and the spa is not going well, and the outdoor pool is not heated, you almost go to a hostel that saves you pasta. Years ago we came and the facilities were much better.

Good attention. Large rooms, peroooooo ....... Very thin towels, not from a 4 star hotel. The sheets bad to the touch. The mattress an ironing board. I think that in terms of comfort it is a 3 star hotel.

TV almost everything in Catalan. A rock. It cannot be changed to the original version.

One of the worst hotels ever.
Actually they have smoking rooms! And when you ask reception to check on your neighbors and stop them from smoking, they cannot do anything! They only say there are no smoking rooms in the hotel. Okey, now I can smell fresh air, thank you.
The worst sound proof in the rooms I ve ever faced. I could hear my neighbors talks and coughing all evening long.
And they failed to provide soap and shower gel. I don t know why. I just found hair conditioner, hair comb and hair cap. I stayed at 2-stars hotels, and they always provided the essentials.
The least helpful reception in the world.
I ve stayed at Mercure all over the world, probably this one is the worst out of all.

I was a little disappointed with the hotel. The room was relatively simply furnished. The beds were very shaky. The mattress not good.
The breakfast, however, was very tasty and there was a wide selection. You can sit outside. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The suites on the top floor are superb and very functional

Good aparthotel and very well located, away from crowds, but really, with everything within reach and close to bars, restaurants, parks and places to walk quietly.
The hotel itself is very cozy, beautiful and well-kept, except for the pool area where the grass looks a bit left.
Rooms are good, perfect size, no frills, but with everything you need to feel comfortable. If it is true, that the cleaning is fair and it shows that they go fast and to work, but I suppose they will be fair and in the end, this is what happens when two people have to do the work of four.
I also find it strange that the entrance to the pool is exclusively through the restaurant ...
All the hotel staff we have dealt with have been correct and friendly and we have really felt very comfortable. We will repeat.

Pleasant stay the +: the very hearty continental breakfast also the dinner - the Vmc in the room that makes nonstop noise and squeaks of the beds

Very large and quiet, spectacular pool and buffet for breakfast very complete. The cleaning and maintenance of the rooms can be improved.

It is a very nice hotel and quite well preserved. The rooms are very comfortable. One of the best things is your situation, since it is next to Port Aventura, and it is a very good option if you want to go to the park.

Very much the place, the room, the very good hotel menu, take care of the details, the very good attention, the spa massages, but the spa itself was spoiled and the water was frozen! the only catch ... the rest be, that's why I've downloaded a star! If it was not a 5!

We had an overnight stay here because we were traveling to Benidorm. You can park outside the hotel in the parking garage but you can also use the parking garage of the hotel, the costs are 10 euros per night / day. The town of Villa Seca unfortunately has little to offer, it is better to go to the nearby Pineda La Mar. The hotel itself is fine, just a pity that the bar was closed during the day and that on a Sunday. The breakfast in the nice restaurant is definitely worth it, the breakfast looks very good and well cared for. Two very friendly and helpful male waiters are present in the restaurant. Downside was that there were almost no international TV channels, mainly Spanish and French channels. The hotel is very clean and definitely recommended.

There is a good quality price relation. I recommend Half Board.

I have been several times for work. Very good hotel, I will return without a doubt. I recommend.

Good reception, but double bed room is not a double bed but two small beds pushed together and in addition to that very hard uncomfortable mattress, poorly soundproofed, otherwise super clean hygiene level, and very pretty terrace

The rooms were very nice with great facilities. I didn't try the pool but others said it was great. The food was fantastic.

Very accessible, at the entrance of Vilaseca, without having to wander a lot. Reception quickly and without problems. The rooms are spacious with firm mattresses, large work desk and large flat TV (the only drawback is that the channels are not ordered), it has a water heater to make infusions, a safe and a closet. Small fridge. Quite silent and quiet. Correct bathroom Everything neat and clean.
The restaurant with affordable menu minimum 13 or more depending on the selection of dishes. The dishes taste good but the side dishes a little loose. Includes water and glass of wine. If you fancy a beer instead they charge it separately (I did not think it was correct, but it is what it is)
The buffet breakfast of good quality and extensive, juices, coffees, sweets, hot and cold dishes above the average of other hotels. Recommended to include it in the price of the room.
In general a remarkable very high. It has Spa and outdoor pool that with good weather is very nice (enjoyed in July).

Today we have been at a wedding, and we recommend it for its quality, good service, speed, and kindness that all the workers have received. Excellent.

Very nice hotel, spacious and comfortable room. The spa and the pool are very nice. One of the receptionist, Alban not to mention it, is just extra !!! The hotel restaurant where you can have a good breakfast, offers good and varied menus at top prices.

On the other hand there is almost nothing around but good place to rest.

Large rooms. In the rooms there is a kettle, coffee, tea and many trifles. The price is divine. The hotel has billiards, pool and lots of interesting things. God's price. I recommend.

The buffet is not very good lunch little thing and the room is not very comfortable the mattress and cushions you stick the springs and the almada xafada is not a hotel of 5 for me

A very nice and modern hotel. Rooms clean and tidy. There is information on the site that there is a gym but it is not there.

When you make a reservation at this hotel, make sure you can go, because if something really important comes up so you can not do it, they do not even offer you a change of date or any other option.

This modern and comfortable hotel with a pool is a 7-minute drive from Aventura

A hotel of easy access with a different structure, clean and beautiful. With a spa more than enough and outdoor pool with beautiful garden. Best of all the food !!!! And a spectacular buffet for breakfast! Surely we will repeat!

Very new hotel so everything was new and clean. Not much staff around but it was off season for them during our stay. Good location as you really, really have to watch the location of your hotel! We felt very safe in this area, so if this is your concern this was a good location.

The site was very cool although the first day we had a network connection problem and it is not that they paid much attention to us, they said we were waiting for tomorrow and tomorrow never came, the theme of the spa also seems a bit horrible make us pay 8 euros if we want to enter for a hat and when we say no, we go to the area we see inside the spa people without a hat, it makes you think if they only want the money, ah and the tourist tax when I'm from here, in that end the bad part, the good one is a good distance from portaventura and it looks very nice, we really enjoyed the hotel, except for all the above. Super hotel with big apartment we were 4 in the state was perfect 3 minutes from the Aventura park and there is the free shuttle that drops you off and for parking there is room around so no need to pay 10 euro per day for parking from the hotel and of course no halal food at the hotel restaurant
