I went a few days with my family to Vila seca and we stayed at the Mercure Athena and we really liked it, the staff is lovely, the room is very clean and cozy, the spa pool is small but very good, the buffet Very complete breakfast, highly recommended hotel.

All right. Room spacious and clean. Friendly staff and correct breakfast. They should offer quality orange juice (every time there are more hotels with machines that make the juice at the moment)

The supposed 4 stars, they invented them. For an apartment hotel, it really leaves you desired, electric hotplates dating back, obliged to go and ask the reception for what you need to be able to cook and eat.
The hotel restaurant just open in the evening. Exposed concrete in the hotel lobby.

Very good! Excellent attention and service! You are very comfortable in the rooms and the hotel has great views inside.

We were there for port aventura.

The positive points :
- impeccable service (free shuttle that takes you from the hotel to port aventura)
- extremely good and varied breakfast and included
- very nice staff
- very clean, air conditioning, no noise while sleeping

The negative points :
- our shower faucet was so old that it did not turn properly, the showerhead was impossible to adjust in height because it was broken (for a 4 star, it is inadmissible)
- In the morning, all the doors slam by the maids, grasse morning impossible

For one night this hotel was perfect. Very friendly receptionist who immediately offered to provide me with a take-away breakfast when I told her that I would be leaving at half past five as I had to catch a flight in Barcelona.

The room was comfortable, maybe a bit old.

Breakfast in the morning was ready at half past five. Consists of ready-made rolls, pastries and juice. I couldn't complain about it. The staff was very friendly and courteous so early in the morning.

I can definitely recommend the hotel.

The best: The location, reading room with billiards, the Spa, the pool and the treatment by the staff.

The worst: The kitchen of the apartment had stains of oil and dirt from the previous guests, the waiters of the dining room a "little" disorganized and lost but with very good treatment would need some more waiter. I do not advise half board, since we took it and the menu is always the same so on the third day you do not know what to choose to eat (we were 5 days). Depending on the cook or the day you have if it is the same the food is better or not. The drink goes separately does not enter the half board that does not specify it in booking. (A bottle of 1.25 ml 2.50). Watch when they charge the supplements in the room (especially the restaurant) they wanted to charge me things that I had not consumed and things I had paid they wanted to charge me again , as for example Spa caps in reception (I suppose that due to organization error) ask for the ticket or invoice of what you pay. To be a 4 star hotel the beds are uncomfortable, we asked for a double bed and we put two singles together, the room service has not changed the sheets in 5 days and the beds badly made. The indoor pool does not exist as such although they put it on the web, put it as separate and is integrated into the Spa that has a cost of 5 to which people sneak in without taking advantage of when someone leaves, they get in without the mandatory cap since nobody controls the water zone. The wifi a slow disaster and it was disconnected every 2x3 asking you the password all the time, at least where we were located. To dine even if you have half board you have to book a table every day at the reception desk at the time you want to dine, since the dining room is very small.

The hotel is amazing, the treatment of the exceptional staff. Good pool and jaccuzi. Good food and the rooms are very large.

The breakfast is unfortunate, the industrial pastries abound, we ask for a coffee with milk from the traditional machine and they tell us that it is a supplement to the contracted breakfast, which had to be from the other machine, among the breakfast waitresses they comment on the coffee request with Traditional machine milk out loud while looking sideways

If we stay several days and have breakfast it is very monotonous it's a copy-paste every morning for the rest of the establishment is great

Beautiful hotel. Spacious rooms and quiet surondings

We booked for a room with double bed, unfortunately when we arrived we got a room with 2 single beds and no alternatives offered despite our complaint.
In addition, the restaurant food is of very low quality. This is disappointing.

The hotel room is spacious but in need of an urgent reform, although upon entering it is not appreciated. As soon as you enter you will find the mini kitchen without utensils, except in ours that we had a used fork. More

4 nights 5 days spent here, personally value for money is more than reasonable. The service at the top (especially the lady in the morning at breakfast) we love it the cleaning is done, the location is near salou and port aventura the rooms are very basic but functional frenchly we will come back.

Hotel and rooms in order. Staff friendly but it is recommended to go out to eat. Breakfast not the hit. Own underground car park.

It is one of the few hotels that work everything, at the first and there is no need to notify the reception, so I give it 4 * so they do not relax and continue working like this

The breakfast buffet is very good and dinner is a la carte. Very attentive and friendly waiters. The room is very comfortable and spacious. All perfect!!!!

Great, everything impeccable, well taken care of, the staff super friendly, good food, the waiters always offer the best and take care that the customers enjoy a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Great value for the price.

This hotel is a top choice!!
