What fantastic customer service! I know nothing about domains or DNS records. The Hostpoint support staff explained how to connect my domain to my Shopify site so clearly and concisely, that I did it in 5 mins! They're amazing! I wish there were more stars to give them!

I have been with Hostpoint for more than ten years...

I have been with Hostpoint for more than ten years. I rarely need their support because everything runs smoothly, but when I do, their support is fantastic and really quick. Keep up the great work!

I had the opportunity to contact the support depar...

I had the opportunity to contact the support department at Hostpoint today and ask for help on how to configure Joomla and FTP on my new website. I was helped by Boban Lapcevic who showed me how to proceed ... and succeed ... with the minimum of effort. Boban was very structured in his approach, very patient and technically very knowledgeable. Keep up the good work. John

Hostpoint makes it incredibly difficult and complicated to cancel a domain subscription and if you don't they will call the debt collection on you. Ridiculous. I have used many domain registrars before (that are much bigger than this small company) and never had to do anything to let a domain expire. At Hostpoint you have to request a form, fill it with so many details, sign it, scan it, send it all before 30 days of the renewal date.

Seems like the only way they can keep customers is by making it incredibly hard for them to leave. Stay away, there are MUCH better (and cheaper) domain and hosting services that won't be a pain to deal with and won't drain your time.

You buy for 1 year, get a confirmation that the contract is for 1 year, you can cancel it 30 days before it ends, no automatic renewal mentioned. You get the next bill one year later with a higher amount, when it's already too late to cancel. A single 27 CHF payment is more valuable for them than customer satisfaction. However it's quite usual in Switzerland, but not in Europe.

UPDATE to response:
You had this review years ago from others already, you had many chance to introduce a feature which sends a reminder BEFORE the 30 days. Or ask in the system if someone WANTS the renewal or not. Every answer to these reviews is just empy talk without act.
