very clean and tidy, perfect location right next to the main trainstation and very helpful staff - the guy I checked in with gave me a map and explained all important spots to know on there without me asking!

I stayed in a room for 6 people for 2 nights.
The staff is very friendly and polite.
I think that it is good cospa also with a simple breakfast even though the price is low.
The difficulty was that there were few showers and toilets. Is my floor a total of 4 rooms? As it was one restroom, one shower (with a restroom), it is wise to use it during non-congested hours.

You couls argue about the sketchy neighbourhood, but that is Naples. Good place next to the Central Station. Special ambiance and made a lot of friends. Social hostel. Staff is very friendly. Would recommend 100%.

The street it's on has garbage everywhere but once you get inside the staff if very friendly and helpful. We booked the deluxe room and it had its own bathroom and AC no complaints there. The common kitchen and room has no AC so it can get hot and uncomfortable but other than that I would stay here again

I stayed in this hotel for 6 days and can't complain about anything. The hostel is located a stone's throw from Garibaldi station, which is super convenient for getting around. Quiet neighborhood, more than once I came home after midnight and I never felt any danger. Owners and staff always very kind and helpful.
Excellent breakfast, with tea, coffee, milk, cereals, bread, and etc ...
Cleaning is SUPER!
I'll be back for sure!

The cleanliness of the hostel, SUPER!

Hostel a stone's throw from the central station and the subway, very convenient location for getting around Naples. It also allows you to easily walk to most of the city's attractions: the historic center, Corso Umberto. The location is also excellent for reaching the pier and maritime transport to the islands.
The environment is clean and familiar, it feels like spending a night with old friends. Guests have access to Wi-Fi and the kitchen, as well as a comfortable relaxation room with TV. The staff is exquisite, kind, courteous and available in any situation and at any time. Prices are affordable and accessible to everyone. The icing on the cake is the nearby pizzeria da Michele, where you can eat the best pizza in Naples. If you are in naples I recommend you to stay here!

Very nice hostel! In the center, inexpensive. Breakfast is included, but I didn t think that there would be so many things, a great choice. The rooms are ordinary, but ours had its own bathroom, I liked everything.

One of the best hostels I've been to, in my opinion. Only a few minutes from the main station, this hostel has easily managed to win a place in my recommendations. The staff are all excellent and the hostel gives you ample opportunity to meet people. The owner, Alfredo, is often around to talk to you personally. The recommendations they give you for the bay of Naples are all excellent and I definitely think one should follow them. I definitely prefer this place to some of the bigger hostels I've been to. Also - free breakfast!

I supposed to stay in this hostel for only 3 nights, but when i came here the owner Margherita and her husband Alfredo were so extremely nice, friendly and welcoming, so i couldn't resist and stayed for 3 more nights.
First of all, the area around Napoli is huge and there are so many places to see and visit, that i didn't know, so 3 nights was definitely not enough. Alfredo kindly explaned me where to go, what to see and most important where to have the best pizza in Napoli (btw, it's only 5 min walk from the hostel !!). Also he answered ALL my questions and helped me with finding places where to do shopping.
Secondly, the hostel itself is in a great position - 5 min away from the station (although at first the neighbourhood of the hostel might look quite doddgy, but it's absolutely alright - busy, dynimic, like in every other city) . Inside it's clean, they have TV room, computer, kitchen for everyone (where you can meet other travelers and make friends), and the design is in positive bright colours.
My stay here was FANTASTIC !! i enjoyed every moment !! Thank you Margherita, Alfredo and Stefano for making me feel like home !

Cheap hostel in a good location, clean and cozy. Service is very nice and helpful, in the evenings there are organized refreshments for guests, and one of the employees - Sebastian took us on a bar trip at night. I recommend with all my heart

3 Stars because of the location, it s not so welcoming as most of the buildings around the hostel are old and feels not safe to walk in the night although it s closer to the central.
It is a family who maintains this hostel and they were helpful to visit main attractions of the city, but the main person started explaining about the problems he had in maintaining the hostel for about 15 minutes which was quite unnecessary. The room was nice and tidy, bathrooms were clean.

Hostel very close to the Centrale station and the main avenues of the city.
Very good cleaning and quite varied breakfast. The staff was very friendly at all times and always with a smile. Thank you! We will definitely return to this hostel.

Very friendly staff and great service. Would always come back! The hostel is equipped with everything that's needed for a short stay. It is close to central station, from there Pompeii and other neigbouring cities can be reached.

There are two types of hostels: a functional hostel offering low-priced dormitories and a hostel with dorms and a thunderous atmosphere!
First of all, the rooms and lhostel itself is super clean, cleaned every sailor. The staff is young, dynamic and organizes free appetizers and pasta dinner for the pleasure of sharing together!
Add to this the fact that the staff is very qualified, they gave me lots of advice for Naples and its surroundings. It allowed me to be quick and efficient during my visits.
Many thanks to Brenda, Daniella, Hendrik, Stevo, Francesco and boss Alfredo.
I lived great moments and I created beautiful friendships.

Rooms are good, prices are fair but the shower and toilets are simply unacceptable in terms of their condition and cleanliness. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hostel is located in a street that does not feel very safe, but it is very close to the central station and not too far from the old town.

Very nice hostel, great location, works there or owns a Polish woman, so you can ask her about attractive places or transport matters, which em used. My rooms were clean, with balcony, bathrooms were also clean, grocery stores and some bazaar, "soap and plum jam." there is a small treat was the pizza from the famous pizzeria with queues as for communions. I was under it because the receptionist advertised as the best pizza in Naples but you would probably have to stand an hour or two to get there. It's on the map they give in the hostel it is very close. Near the train and bus stations, for people who want to go on the "road of Gods" bus to the town where it starts does not start from the station but the street which is a bit behind the bus station.

Beautiful, very practical location because it is close to the historic center and also to central Naples. Friendly and very kind staff. Well furnished, well cleaned and very comfortable. Even the rooms are really clean and the breakfast really mixed and above all rich in fresh and quality products. Much better than several hotels I've been to. Congratulations to the managers, to be recommended absolutely!

5 stars for the hostel/staff and breakfast. 1 star for the location. The hostel itself is very good, the staff and the manager who greeted us is very friendly. The breakfast is amazing (AND ITS FREE). There are a fair number of rules in place but nothing too bad. Having said that the neighborhood feels VERY unsafe and is trashy. I wouldn't blame the hostel for it though. Just be extra cautious while walking especially alone at night after 9 PM and you will be fine.

This hotel is awful. Not only is it placed in a seedy and dangerous area at night, the staff are also very rude. We are greeted without hello, we are shouted at. No effort regarding the spoken language. Costs will be added to your reservation even though nothing indicates this when making the internet reservation. Free breakfast but coffee, milk, tea (hot drinks) are served cold. An employee was in the same room as us (a room for 5) she monopolized the control of the air conditioning and when we told her that it was a bit too cool she said to us "if you are cold put on a sweater point". shocked ... in short I do not recommend it

Had a room with its own bathroom. The water stayed hot the whole time which was awesome and better than other hostel bathrooms. The wifi was good and fast. And the beds were comfortable. One of the better hostel stays I've had while traveling around Europe.

The staff is very friendly and friendly and the hostel is great. The area in which it is located is not the best, but it is close to the central station and 10 minutes from the historic center
They include a very complete breakfast and in the evenings they do activities to socialize among the guests!

Hostel Mancini is literally located behind Garibaldi, the statue of the general who watches over the homonymous square. Convenient to the bus connection with the airport and 5 minutes from the central station.

The environment is clean and essential, the staff friendly and helpful, the kitchen equipped and always usable. Good value for money. Suitable for those who prefer meeting new people, living the city, having experiences while traveling, leaving the comfortable bed or a few minutes waiting for the bathroom in the background.

Via dei Tribunali is "around the corner". Good starting point to get to know the city and its people.

Hostel Mancini is near to the station. The connect to the airport by bus is fast. The Hostel is clean and simple. The staff is friendly, english speaking. It is possible to use the kitchen. Good value for money. Hostel Mancini is close to Tribunali's Street, one of the most important cultural streets of Napoli, where it is possible to start the tour of Napoli.

I spent about 5 days with my daughter staying in Mancini and the treatment was pleasant from the beginning, until the end; the receptionist is very friendly and cheerful; the facilities kept clean, breakfast was great and they have variety. In the game room there is a small turtle (Xixi) that my daughter liked, it also has a variety of board games and has an Xbox. It is well located, close to the center and the Garibaldi station, only that in the street that is not brought me much confidence to go at night. It is also close to a supermarket and you can cook in the hostel.

My recommendation is that if you think you will need your own space, book a private room.

In my opinion for travelers it is totally recommended

I stayed one night and then moved to a different hostel. There was only one bathroom and I had always to wait in order to use it. Small common area. As soon as I finished drinking my coffee the stuff asked me to free the table which was rude. Close to the station.

Very attentive the man at the reception. It guides you on what to visit in Naples and how to get there. The room is very clean and comfortable. Includes breakfast and is plentiful.
The only thing I needed is a space to wash a small garment because it is forbidden in the rooms.
And also the possibility of using the kitchen in the morning to include fruit or eggs in my breakfast, which is what I usually do.
I still adapted and it was a good experience!
Thank you!

Had to check in late and leave very early, but everyone was very friendly and place was clean, there were free drinks for the night and i was so sad not to be able to stop by for more because the atmosphere looked great.

Good location and nice staff. But 21 euro for a 6 bed dorm was high, dorm was very squishy, bathroom was dirty, pillow was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable and traffic noise very loud. I know it's a dorm so you cant be too picky, but I've stayed in way nicer ones for 15 or even 10 euros.

I was really well

I was really well
Clean hostel, equipped with everything and close to the train station, metro and circumvesuviana so tactical position for any movement.
Really competitive price
Stefano and Alfredo are kind and very willing to help you and give you advice.
For those who pass through Naples I recommend it.

Hostel Mancini is a hotel very close to Naples train station, so you can easily go anywhere on a day trip from this Mancini to tourist attractions unique to Naples such as Amalfi, Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius volcano, El Corano, Potuoli. I can do it.

You can reach Capri Island in about 10 minutes by taking the R1 bus or tram from Napori Station.

Shopping is also very convenient, with a large supermarket open until 8pm, and the famous Pizza store "Da Michele" in the neighborhood. The style of buying ingredients and cooking for yourself is one of the ways to enjoy this hotel. There is also a drink vending machine in the kitchen.

Naples seen from "Castel Sant'Elmo" on the hills of Vomero and "Santa Lucia Street" by the sea, it is a spectacular view. "Look at Naples and die", you will realize that it really is exactly what it says.

I think it's a waste to spend just a few nights in Naples. Since the accommodation fee is cheap in Naples and Mancini, I stayed slowly for 11 days this time.

The owner of the hotel is a big Japanese favorite. He is very kind and will answer any questions. Of course, you can rest assured that each room also has a free coin locker. wi-fi is also OK.

Good hostel, great value for money with clean bedrooms, good breakfast and helpful staff. Location is perfect for a base to day trip out further but a bit unpleasant and rough to spend time walking later on in the day. Would stay again.

It is very close to the Naples station and 5 minutes from Naples 3 Michel Pizzeria
The hostel is clean and well organized.
When I checked out, I left my bag next to the sofa, and when I checked out, I found that the bag had disappeared. As soon as I went down to the first floor, there was no trace of people, so I went up and went to the room. The people checking in (family) listened to the owner 's explanation. I heard everything with my passport and cash, but it 's totally rusty.
This bag is called mine, and it is said that there is no idea that they will never steal their mistake. I'm just kidding.

Great hostel with clean rooms. Located very close to the train station, which is convenient ( the area is a bit shady though). The staff was very friendly, and security within the hostel is great.

Initially the area that the hostel is located in feels a bit dodgy but I think that's just a first impression to Napoli. The hostel itself is brightly decorated and the reception staff were helpful and inviting. Rooms feel slightly cramped but they do come with large lockers and a lamp and power socket for each bed. The ensuite bathroom felt tired but suited needs so can't really fault that. An odd rule is that no glass bottles are allowed in the hostel anywhere meaning drinking wine is pretty much off limits, I understand no bottles in the rooms but to have it cover the living area as well is a bit off. Breakfast is decent and it's within walking distance of the city centre and has great transport links with it being right next to the station. I probably would have voted 3 stars had it not been for the price.

The people at the reception were very filleted and helpful!
It was good to make the room small and beautiful!

However, I shot into a store near midnight!
If you smoke in the veranda 5 shots in front of you! !
I was very blessed!
Napoli security unsafe!

A clean, quiet, cheap hostel a stones throw away from the center of Napoli.
Good wifi, air-conditioned rooms and towels you can rent.
Best part was the staff who was able to advise me on on what to see and how to make the he most efficient use of my limited time. Some things Google won't tell you so always good to have the locals full you in on travel tips etc.
An unassuming entrance that is easy to miss so keep an eye out.
Sadly I didn't take pictures of the rooms so here's is photo of the picture hanging in their hallway that I found amusing.

This was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The...

This was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. There are so many reasons why not to stay here, I will put it in bullet points:

- When I checked in I asked the guy at reception (he was the owner) for some information on the plans I had. My plans were to sleep in Naples and visit Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi Coast. Because I didn't have enough time, I made a choice to not do tourism in Naples, and just stay in Naples as a sleep point. The guy seemed offended that I didn't want to visit Naples, and recommended me to skip Amalfi Coast to visit Naples instead. I had to pretend I was going to follow his directions so he wouldn't be more offended.
- I stayed in a private room for 2. The room was vey small, with a bunk bed and a sink. My father left the door open with our stuff in (including my wallet, passport, etc), and although the reception was very close to the room, I asked my father to close the door. The owner again reacted, feeling offended. He said that was a family business, respectable business, and that I didn't need to close the door. Like, dude, I am not closing the door because of the employees, but this is a hostel. There are guests that I don't know, there might be people that are not guests getting in, and what ever. I want to keep my door closed! Plus, the location was super sketchy, specially at night.
- There was only one bathroom with one shower. It was mostly wet and muggy in there, the shower head didn't stay up, so I had to hold it while taking my shower.
- I did a reservation for 2 nights, and I asked if I could switch and stay one night in, then I would stay one night in Sorrento and the last night back in Naples. I would still stay in two nights, but a different night, because it happened that Sorrento was too far to go in one day. I said I could stay in a mixed room even thou I paid for a private, but the guy was not accommodating at all. He had the room open but didn't care to help.
- So I stay in for the two nights. The third night I got the night train to Venice. Even sleeping in the train was better than this place.
- Internet was crap. They also have computers in the front area, and the internet doesn't work well in there either.
- At night, people were pretty loud past midnight. I had to come out of my room to ask them to lower they voice, which they did.

The location is ok if you want to stay near the train station, but Naples is just a dirty, ugly city. If you can, just skip Naples from your itinerary. Not worth it. And don't stay here.

Hostel itself is great, people are awesome and very helpful however don't be surprised as we were looking at the area around. First impression was a bit out of our comfort zone, but after all it seems safe.

Loses out the star on the locale, somewhat shady, though near the train station, so balances out perhaps.
The management made a goof up withy booking and wanted to charge me thrice the amount, but it was sorted.
The guy who would man the desk after evening hours didn't speak English, so it became slightly difficult to communicate.
The breakfast is decent. The place is affordable and tidy. Attached bathroom with the dorm was spacious.
WiFi sucks though :/

Very fun and social hostel. Rooms are typical for hostels. The staff were very helpful in planning my day and made suppers to bring people together.

Being located next to the train terminal is handy. There's also a fantastic pizzeria close by for very cheap.
