This was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. There are so many reasons why not to stay here, I will put it in bullet points:

- When I checked in I asked the guy at reception (he was the owner) for some information on the plans I had. My plans were to sleep in Naples and visit Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi Coast. Because I didn't have enough time, I made a choice to not do tourism in Naples, and just stay in Naples as a sleep point. The guy seemed offended that I didn't want to visit Naples, and recommended me to skip Amalfi Coast to visit Naples instead. I had to pretend I was going to follow his directions so he wouldn't be more offended.
- I stayed in a private room for 2. The room was vey small, with a bunk bed and a sink. My father left the door open with our stuff in (including my wallet, passport, etc), and although the reception was very close to the room, I asked my father to close the door. The owner again reacted, feeling offended. He said that was a family business, respectable business, and that I didn't need to close the door. Like, dude, I am not closing the door because of the employees, but this is a hostel. There are guests that I don't know, there might be people that are not guests getting in, and what ever. I want to keep my door closed! Plus, the location was super sketchy, specially at night.
- There was only one bathroom with one shower. It was mostly wet and muggy in there, the shower head didn't stay up, so I had to hold it while taking my shower.
- I did a reservation for 2 nights, and I asked if I could switch and stay one night in, then I would stay one night in Sorrento and the last night back in Naples. I would still stay in two nights, but a different night, because it happened that Sorrento was too far to go in one day. I said I could stay in a mixed room even thou I paid for a private, but the guy was not accommodating at all. He had the room open but didn't care to help.
- So I stay in for the two nights. The third night I got the night train to Venice. Even sleeping in the train was better than this place.
- Internet was crap. They also have computers in the front area, and the internet doesn't work well in there either.
- At night, people were pretty loud past midnight. I had to come out of my room to ask them to lower they voice, which they did.

The location is ok if you want to stay near the train station, but Naples is just a dirty, ugly city. If you can, just skip Naples from your itinerary. Not worth it. And don't stay here.
