The perfect Hostel for seeing Florence! The owner and manager is a wonderful and personable woman who was kind enough to show me both the best way to see the city and where to find the best food. The rooms are nice and cozy, the common area has a fairly large TV and comfortable seating, and the kitchen and bathroom are both perfectly fine. You can see the Duomo from the windows which makes for a breathtaking view come nightfall. The inn is only a block away from the Accademia Gallery, and withing walking distance from the Central Train Station. My experience here was one of the highlights of my Florentine experience!
It's just a hostel for youth. The building is quite old but lively.
It is ancient and wide. It was confusing to find the place, since there are 3 different numbers
Cozy and friendly hostel. Very polite people. Excellent central area well supplied by the means
Super clean with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Free Wifi and a kitchen for small meals. Definitely would recommend.
Nice place, friendly staff. A little outside the city though.
Such a bad experience. The "boss" is not polite at all, she is almost agressive.
Also, she does what she wants with the price by cash, you can not pay by credit card so you don't have fixed price. And she does what she wants with taxes.
About the air conditional, this is simply a sketch : this is a movable box in the room connected to a kind of pipe through the window. So you can't close the window if you want the air conditional.
In brief, there is so much better hostel in Florence.
Its a really god hostel, and the stuff are really nice and helpful, may the first impression u feel it is expensive, but when u compare it with the other hostel in Florence (the expensive city) u will discover is cheaper than the average
Nice hostel to stay even for a couple of days, in the midst of Florence. It's very close to Duomo complex and Da Vinci Museum. The building is a bit old (with no elevator), and smells old. There are multiple rooms with 3 bunk beds, but doesn't have much space. They don't provide any towels, so you should bring your own. The bathroom is clean, yet very small and you have to share it with upto five other people. The bunk beds are metal and give creaking sounds, so it's very very annoying!
The room has a few electricity outlets, so they have arranged some extension cords, but they're not enough for all the beds.
You can get a proper locker space for 5 if you have anything valuable to store.
Regardless of the downsides, it's worth for the price you pay and also because it's very close to the attractions.
Note: This is a mixed hostel
Nice hostel. Catering facility is also good. You can enjoy here with your colleagues or other countries people. Only keep in mind there is no 24 hr reception and no breakfast. You will get city Map from receptionist. And there is no baggage locker. You need to keep your lock with you.
Use kitchen autonomy. It is necessary to use a lighter in an Italian gas stove. 3 rooms, 1 toilets, 1 toilets + showers 1. Wash and dry 7 In the morning, you will be in your room by lunch. The owner is very kind, but I can barely see him. The location is great. 5 minutes walk from Duomo.
epic!!! I was blown away by the majesty of David's meaty arms. Pick me up and carry me away.................. Davey!! :)
People there were nice and the vibe was good. Reasonable prices for an expensive Florence. Unfortunately, WiFi was TERRIBLE. I asked around but I couldn't get a response as to why it was so slow and unstable. As a backpacker with only my phone this is a pretty big drawback. The beds weren't the most comfortable but at least they were clean. Small kitchen and okay number of bathrooms. Also well located in the city center.
BED BUGS! THE STAFF REFUSED TO HELP, EVEN THOUGH THEY SAW THE BED BUGS. THEN, THE OWNER REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND!!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!
I stayed in the David Inn this weekend and found it to be a great little place, and at just a few minutes walk from the Duomo, it really is at the heart of the city.
The location is amazing, it is located in the center of the city, in the historic center molto vicino a tutte !!!! The only problem is that the pieces are shared and those of the beds next door were raised all the time, in addition the sheets were not very clean.
Very clean and cute small hostel. The staff was super and gave lots of good recommendations on what to eat and see. The location is perfect especially for the price. Beds were not amazing but it is a hostel.
Cosy place. Small, quiet. Old. 30 a bed, close to all the major sights/museums
well organized gallery. To visit absolutely if you go to Florence in order to taste the timeless art of Michelangelo
This was a great hidden place to stay while in Florence. You can go with a few friends, or alone, and the atmosphere will be great. Very close to the Duomo, (biggest attraction in florence) and nicely located. It felt like I was away from home, but at an aunt or uncle's house. Very homey and comfortable. Nadia (the owner) gave great recommendations of places to see and where to eat. My friend and I even ate at the same place twice because it was so good. Would recommend.
In the centre, staff really nice and Nice for workout. Lol
Price higher than other stays throughout Europe. Price to leave my bag there at 10 Euro. Price for towel use 2 Euro. Price to wash laundry 8 Euro. No front desk receptionist there at times. Hard to find hostel first time with limited signage. I've had some things included at cheaper hostels like bag storage, towel, and even breakfast. I like the location for this hostel in the center of everything and is easy to find once located the first time. Still, not the best experience.
