Phenomenal property. This hotel is stunning, with amazing views right on the water. This hotel has a 19th century royalty feel. My room was very large, had views of the water and everything I needed to feel pampered and comfortable. The common lounge areas at the hotel were also gorgeous. I hope to visit this hotel again.

Excellent food and service, we felt well looked after. We had a romantic 20th Anniversary meal here on the balcony over looking the sea (as requested). Gorgeous setting, atmosphere and lighting. My wife's gluten free and fish only requirements were graciously accommodated despite not giving advance noticed.

We loved it. All perfect. We want to stay again and enjoy the views, services and friendliness of the staff. I recommend it 100%. If you doubt between several in the area, do not hesitate to choose this one, without a doubt you will not be wrong.

Great Lunch.
Food and service by the terrace is great on a very sunny day. I still don't know how he did it, but it was amazingly executed, as if he is the only food attendant at the terrace with 30 people wanting to be served. We ordered a Caneloni and rack of Lamb and a wine choice paired to our meal, the combination was stunning. We forgot his name but I think he is Asian, we would have loved to say thank you for making our Lunch unforgettable.

I had high expectations for the Hospes Maricel, having visited the hotel in the past for cocktails, I was aware of its enviable location and beauty.
The staff are truly excellent. Courteous and attentive in every way possible.
The hotel itself is simply wonderful, a majestic building with impeccable grounds and a gorgeous spa to match.
Most certainly one of the 'high spots' is breakfast, taken on a terrace overlooking the small bay - simply heaven.
My room was lovely, with mountain views.
Sadly there were a number of technical issues with the room. Upon arrival, the room was stuffy so I requested that the air conditioning system was checked - this was remedied promptly but sadly often pumped out cooking smells - as per a previous thread. The shower thermostat did not function properly (fixed I think?) and the lighting too.
I ordered room service during my stay and upon asking, I was informed that a Mediterranean Salad consisted of certain appealing ingredients and when it arrived it was simply lettuce, tomato, peppers and an egg! I found the room service food both overpriced and not great!
I normally y choose to stay in the city centre (Palma) so this was an interesting alternative and experience.
I will return for a cocktail but probably not to stay. Overall an interesting and enjoyable experience.

We just had our wedding here, and are currently staying here after, also going to extend our stay. I can not recommend Maricel enough, Andrea the events manager made our life so easy in the planning of our marriage, and could not do enough to help us.
So help full and gave us the most awesome room at a great rate, this place is awesome and will not only always ve in our hearts but our guests also. Every one that attended our wedding has described it as the best wedding they have ever been to. We have the most stunning photos to keep for ever.

Thank you Maricel, and thank you so much Andrea for everything you have done for us, this truly was the best day of our lives xxx

Exquisite breakfast, really the best breakfast in the world in a frame of incomparable beauty and with a very correct service

Sorry but this place has 5 stars !!! It is a beautiful place where you can share with your friends something as simple as a super breakfast !! It deserves to go and enjoy its beautiful views. The attention is excellent !!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hospes Maricel with a special event. In June 2018, we celebrated our wedding in this magical place. It was a perfect day. The support provided by the event team was outstanding, the location just great, the food delicious and the atmosphere unique. We can recommend the Hotel Hospes Maricel as a top location for special events. Many thanks to the entire team of Maricel, especially to Andrea and Christina. You are the best!

I think Maricel is the best place around in Mallorca and in around the world, gives you refreshment and takes away your stress, also reminds you olden days a lot, you have to be here at least once in your life

Excellent hotel. Quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff. Delicious but expensive food. Great pool overlooking ocean. Several gluten free meal options. Tasty breakfast. Always a chair open by pool. Beautiful views. Road noise in mountain view rooms. Overall, the hotel excels in most areas but it isn't cheap.

Update: we stayed here again in 2015. We enjoyed our time even more. We stayed in the Eco building. Room was nice. Patio was great. We had several requests during our stay and they addressed all of them. Staff are excellent. The hotel director/manager has managed American hotels before, so he has trained his staff in American customer service. He's also very friendly. Food is still amazing. We enjoyed the Jazz night too. The vistas by the pool are fantastic. We also relaxed in the summer spa by the ocean. Nothing is better than having a massage to the sound of crashing waves beneath you. We also went on several excursions and they helped coordinate them all. We will hopefully visit again in the future.

Have not stayed at the hotel but came for a drink. Location and terrace is beautiful, but slow service and staff could have been more friendly.

They call it "the best breakfast in the world" for a reason. There you go for breakfast and you go out eaten and dined! Delicious dishes, quite varied, scheduled service (the idea is to have a brunch and join the time of breakfast with dinner) and super attentive

My favorite place to disconnect and charge the batteries

Perfect location with large infinity pool right in a bay. View is excellent. The hotel is well maintained, the breakfast and the service excellent. The new building is very modern, large and bright. Only the pools on the terraces / balconies are a bit leaky, which does not give a nice visual picture. The hotel is highly recommended!

Great location and unbeatable customer service. It is worth noting the great interior design of this emblematic building. Without a doubt, it does not disappoint in terms of quality of service, restaurant and location.

Amazing food and service and views that take a lot of beating

We had an incredibly good time at Maricel Mallorca y Spa.
We could do the check-in with a welcome drink. We were warmly welcomed here. Everything went smoothly and we immediately felt at home.

When we arrived in the room there was a greeting card and a chilled cava ready, which we were very happy about. So we could toast our vacation right away and enjoy the view.

The infinity pool, the view and the direct sea access are breathtaking. You can jump into the sea directly from the hotel and swim to a neighboring beach. This was a moment I will never forget.

The rooms were very clean and were prepared again every day before the night. The service was perfect.

Breakfast was very good and the view on the terrace amazing.

We hope that we will have the chance to visit the hotel again soon.

A movie day attention, food and in general everything about the hotel

A cut with bayles and a tea, cost me a whopping 13 EUROS. VIEWS very nice if ... but when you pass the bill you go the magic. Very exaggerated prices

Both the experience at the Spa and the hotel restaurant were fantastic, and exceeded my initial expectations.
-In the Spa, having very few clients on the premises, it was perfect for us to move around the saunas and the two swimming pools. The facilities are very clean, maintained and tidy. The masseuses were very good professionals.The attention was always excellent. All super perfect.
-The restaurant, when making a good day, we ate on the terrace of the hotel restaurant, with beautiful views towards the sea, the dedication of the perfect catering staff: very good attention, courtesy, explanations of the dishes. The food was exquisite, all in its point of salt and tenderness, very good presentation of each dish, tastes very tasty .... and we were full.
An experience worth repeating.

The view is incredible however the functionality of the room is so so. The toilet was in a tiny space with shower not really hidden behind glass wall. There's not much space for your stuff. Spa and view is top however it was not a comfy stay.

Home shabby. Very amateur service. Food below acceptable. Not recommended place in spite of an exceptional site.

It was a spectacular Brunch! Very good place to enjoy the company and quality food. If you go, I recommend you ask for Adrian. It has made us feel at home thanks to its spectacular service. We will definitely repeat it again!

ingeniously furnished design hotel with a fantastic private bay. Sundowner on the terrace is great. rooms in the new building have a great view, but are separated from the villa by a street.

A delicatessen tasting that will leave you wanting to return. All attention to detail. Very good views. The day accompanied us to be able to be on the terrace.
The contrast of flavors is surprising. From the same dish they first recommend you to try it separately and then mix the flavors, it is an explosion of sensations in your mouth.

We went to try their famous breakfast and it is spectacular, the tasting both in flavor and in presentation a 10, impossible to choose a favorite dish, everyone will surprise you. And the impeccable attention. I will be back

Incredible breakfast (brunch) in tasting menu format. The price is more than reasonable due to the preparation, the raw material, the quality of the service and the culinary result. The views are unbeatable from a terrace about 15 meters above the bay of palm. The tables are separated and oriented so that they give you the sensation of creating an intimate and open space at the same time. Some of the gastronomic offerings are incredible, like this "bloody peach gazpacho with seasonal fruits and vegetables infused in exotic species, basil ice cream and green tea chocolate spiral". A totally recommendable experience!

A pity that the treatment of their own staff is so lousy. In life I would treat my workers like that, I do not know how they endure. From a customer perspective, but for the intern ... We should think that our comfort depends on the treatment given to its employees. Too bad. I do not conceive in front of the clients to belittle their workers, fights, bad faces ... In short a pity. I like places where people work at ease and happy, not coerced and frightened. The maintenance manager should be doing something else. Something good ... Breakfast, for me the best.

Dear Hospes Marcel team,
We booked 2 rooms for Christmas in October. Since we were in Mallorca, we went there personally to see the hotel live. We were allowed to look at the whole hotel, under all prescribed hygiene guidelines. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly. She showed us everything and explained that the architecture of the new building is just unique. We decided on the new building, and there was even a prospect of getting the rooms on the top floor.
The best and friendliest hotel team, warm welcome, top location right by the sea, great architecture ... simply a great overall package.
We had to wait a little longer for the lady who showed us the room and took advantage of the time and had breakfast there with a sea view ... We were thrilled and are already looking forward to our arrival on December 23rd and to a great birthday and a nice Christmas in Your hotel.

The hotel was gorgeous. It s right next to the bay. There s no beach. You need to climb up and down the ladder to swim. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nicely decorated. Modern but still feels cosy. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Mallorca.

I didn t stay in the hotel, I went with my friends to book a massage and we had breakfast there. However, it is obvious from the quality of the staff, the building and the location that the hotel is great. We had a lovely breakfast experience with the picturesque building and the gorgeous views!
