Very Knowledgable and helpful! ! Great selections! !!

I have never written a review before but I had to respond after seeing the previous review...I have been shopping at The Horse Connection since I was five years old and have NEVER had anything but great experiences there. The staff is and always has been amazing: friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to all customers! I love The Horse Connection!!

Excellent service, selection, and knowledgeable sales help

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Natasha and her extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating staff. From when my daughter first began to ride, there has never been a question that was too mundane. Great inventory and very good prices. Of course, there is nothing like walking in that old Bedford/creaky-floored space. Class act all around.

My wife and I live about half an hour away from Bedford so we decided to drive over, have lunch and check it out. After lunch we wanted to explore a bit so we just walked down Main Street. We walked in to Horse Connection, mostly for me since they had a sign posted out front saying they carried Barbour, which happens to be a favorite brand of mine. As we get towards the back of th store the woman behind the counter came back to ask "Can I help you?" Not is there anything in particular you're looking for? Not is there anything I can help you find? Just "Can I help you?" This by it self wouldn't have bothered me. My wife and I said "No thank you we're just looking for now." She then proceeded to tell us what was on every floor starting with the bottom floor. "There's a lot of horse stuff, which you would probably find boring, but on the top floor there's sale items." That's when we got a bit offended. We found the tone of the shop to be assuming and patronizing. It just kind of left a bad taste in our mouths, but I'm sure it's great for horse stuff.

I visited the store last week needing all new apparel as I recently started riding again after a long hiatus. Stephania was incredibly helpful, and spent the time it took for me to find the right clothing.

THIS IS WHERE TO SHOP! GREAT TACK SHOP!!! Incredibly Friendly Staff & I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival. The Service is Amazing & The folks that work there are Vastly Knowledgeable on every need for the Equestrian. There are 3 Floors of products and all is located in a very charming shop located right in Bedford Village. The Horse Connection is Definitely Affordable & everything you need for the horse & rider showing or pleasure. This is also great shop for New Show Mom's, as the staff knows how to take the lead and make New Show Mom's very comfortable. Upstairs is a great Barbour selection, Horse Items are on the first floor, Everything for the rider is on the main floor with very cute gifts & jewelry throughout the shop. I work at a large barn in Westchester County, NY. I order the tack and equipment for 40+ customers, so I spend a lot of time working with the staff at the Horse Connection. Natasha and her staff have gone above and beyond time after time to help me with all my needs. They have always been super friendly and helpful, even when I have to call in multiple times and change orders. A few months ago I longingly mentioned an old-fashioned saddle pad by a defunct company to Natasha. Later on she came across a company that was making a new pad that was very similar to the one I wanted. She immediately picked up the phone to call me, and now my customer with the tricky horse and saddle doesn't have to get off mid-lesson to fix his pad! It's the thoughtful gestures like that that make me really appreciate them. Her staff is always so helpful, especially Gayle, who really goes out of her way to get me the exact item I want, even if I only give her a vague description. Thank you everyone at the Horse Connection for making my life much easier! Special thank you to Gayle who sometimes talks to me five times a day ;)!

There's a really good reason why my riding friends told me to come shop here. The staff is great and the prices are surprisingly affordable. I've been in a few times over the past month and everyone has been extremely helpful in getting me what I need. They could have sold me more expensive equipment that I didn't need yet, so i was very pleased to have such an honest saleswoman helping me. I very highly recommend the horse connection!

The Horse Connection in Bedford, NY is a FANTASTIC tack shop. They have a friendly, knowledgeable staff, great prices, lots to choose from and if they do not have something your looking for, they will order it for you! You couldn't ask for a better place to shop for yourself and your horse! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STORE

I just read the review from J Elliott above and I feel compelled to respond. His review was so counter to everything I know about The Horse Connection, after shopping there for over 10 years for myself, my wife and my kids, that I can only think Elliot was asked to write such an insipid review by the other so-called tack shop in town. Everyone I know loves the Horse Connection and Natasha and her staff.
