This experience could have been amazing. But everything was ruined by aggressive employees. They let you cook under the sun for almost 40 minutes outside with the mask on before boarding. Even with social distancing and being outside waiting in line, you have to be masked. My wife was almost fainting because of the heat and the mask. She took her nose out of the mask for a minute to be able to breathe and right away the angry employees came to us like pit bulls. Instead of asking gently and politely if she has a medical condition, or if she is alright, they started to talk very loud and aggressive about covering the whole face with the mask. They clearly saw my wife leaning on me almost fainting but did not care at all and decided to aggressively lecture us in front of everyone else. This was beyond WRONG. This company should be ashamed of itself. Get ready to be treated like cattle...

Our experience of touring falls with horn blowers was amazing. I took my 11 months old baby with me and he enjoyed a lot as he likes water. Also I think we went on Labor day for tour and the boat was almost empty that increased the fun of the tour.

This is a must do for your Niagara Falls CA trip! I recommend you purchase your tickets in advance to avoid the long lines. The company works like a fine tuned machine. Be prepared to get wet! If getting wet is not your thing you can sit inside and view the falls from inside the boat. You may want to wear a pair of water shoes for this trip and change them after the experience.

I've been wanting to try this since being a kid and it did not disappoint!! To witness the awe of the horseshoe falls is beyond words. I was surprised at how close the boat got & I honestly didn't want it to go any further. A truly memorable experience!!

The ticket booth work efficiently, only take a couple minutes to get a ticket, the price of a single ride of the cruise was quite expensive, but you will definitely gain a great and memorable experience of a cruise of the Niagara Falls. The cruise is operating by 2 boats and departs about every 15 minutes, there are many people going for thr cruise but it doesn't take a long time to wait. A complimentary raincoat is given but it is easily get wet even you havr got a raincoat. During the cruise, the boat ride near to the falls and you can feel the falls, it is a very grateful experience.

Oh my gosh...Niagara Falls was everything we hoped for and seeing it up close while on The Hornblower was a once in a lifetime thrilling adventure.
I, of course, had to be out in the get-wet area for picture taking. I exchanged cameras with strangers and we took pix of each other. Tom stayed dry in the boat but he could see the falls through the huge windows.
What an incredible display of 'Mother Nature'. I can cross this off my 'Bucket List' now. (The list is long but do-able)

This was my first time since the name changed and it was, again, a truly magnificent experience being so close to the falls. I just wish the price was a little lower (or the ride longer), especially for families and children.

Gorgeous tour. The line moves quickly enough to where it's not tedious. Be prepared for an amazing view and make sure your camera is waterproof!

If you're planning on doing the Behind the Falls tour, you might consider keeping your poncho. You get one on both tours but it cuts down on the waste a bit (even though they're biodegradable).

Fun boat ride. We opted for the 'full mist' ride into the major wake of the falls. I must admit that that would be my only gripe with the company: I would call it 'Category 2 Hurricane' rather than 'full mist'. We were not misted with water. We were pelted with droplets of water as if being in a thunderstorm. So be prepared to get wet, or take great caution to stay dry. Thankfully, they offer ponchos to stay dry, and luckily, I was able to keep my electronic devices from getting wet by holding them tightly in a bag under the poncho.

In short: Expensive (20 US dollars) but worth it.

The boat departs on the Canadian side and passes the American Falls and then heads to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. As you can see in various films, you get very wet, so it comes very close to the waterfall.
It's worth it!

Pure and amazing experience of the falls. The staff for the Funicular was very pleasant and informative. Other employees in the boat loading area and photo pickup area lack home training. Maid of the Midst provides the same experience with better customer service. They are getting new boats also and will provide a different experience in the near future according to Hornblower employees. Whether in the USA or Canada try it!

Yesterday was my 4th time that I went on this boat tour. Worth riding it. Due to this social distancing you have to wait for sometime. They are checking your temperature while entering and after each boat ride they are sanitizing the whole place wherever you hold while riding. Better book your tickets online before you go there.

Nice boat ride. Gets you fully in the mist. Must do ride when you're at the falls.
Be prepared to get wet!
A free poncho is included :)

You haven't been to the falls if you didn't take a mist boat.

If you visit Niagara you must go to Hornblower Cruise. They take you inside Niagara Fall on the ship. Feelings are extreme and beautiful. There you can feel all power of Niagara falls. I would say this is only thing that helps you Feel Niagara falls.

Went with family on a Labor Day Weekend and the amount of crowd that showed up was just amazing. Loved the boat ride. Seeing it up close and realizing how majestic the falls is just gives you a never to forget experience. Service was great and employees are friendly.

An advice, ramps are great to control crowd but my suggestion is that people with disability either on wheelchairs or walking with canes should have a different route since the ramps are uneven and bit steep at times. They should have an elevator for them that brings them directly from the top to the bottom deck.

Hadn't done this since grade school! It was amazing there is not one thing about the whole experience that was not 5*. Would recommend this to everyone dont even hesitate !! PS I'm local and pessimistic about many of the attractions but this is s must do!

Despite how packed it may look, this experience is definitely worth it. The lines move rather quickly. Everyone will try and claim a spot on the side, whether it s on the bottom or top deck. If fireworks are an option for the night ride, do yourself a favor and book it. The views from the water after getting drenched in waterfall mist is an experience like no other!

This is a must see attraction when in Niagara Falls. This is my 3rd time and I definitely enjoyed it again. They provide ponchos but you will still get pretty soaked, so keep that in mind. They have circles painted on the ground for people to maintain social distancing and mandatory wearing of masks while on the boat, however, many passengers were ignoring this rule, crowding around other families and removing their masks. For this reason I am only marking it a 4 star as I felt this to be an unsafe situation, especially with the prevalence of COVID-19 in this region.

Did the Hornblower with our 5 kids and it was amazing. Grab a spot at the front of the ship on the lower level if you can. Nothing compares to standing at the base of Horseshoe Falls with the roar of the water and the mist. Put this on your bucket list and check it off ASAP.

This is lots of fun! Well worth the money. We didn't have to wait at all so that helped. If we had a crazy wait like some it might have decreased my rating. The poncho will help but expect to get soaked and if you don't great. But we did. It was great!

Awesome boat ride that you just have to do. Amazing.
Friendly customer service.
Lines were fairly quick.
Only thing we didn't like was the boat was over crowded on our ride and if you weren't on early in the line you didn't get a good view.

When I went at first I was sceptical as the line seemed much larger then my will power to stay in it but after much waiting I was next to go on, it was a blast and they give ponchos for a reason, sure you might get a little wet the the power of the falls feels like it s at your fingertips, a great time and a good experience for all
