Tourist friendly..The one most important thing to do at Niagara, you miss it, you miss everything

With a boat of the Hornblower Niagara Cruises we drove almost into the falls. At least we felt the gout pretty much. You get against the wet a red poncho (if you drive from the Canadian side). The Americans get a blue poncho from the other side. So that it does not lead to confusion. Although the short tour of just under $ 30 is quite expensive, it was absolutely worth the price. However, you really have to protect camera and other against the wet.

Boat ride is a must thing to do at Niagara. Would recommend 100%. They sanitize everything. Face masks are mandatory. Reasonable $30 price. Amazing experience.

It seems like a lot of money but completely worth it! I d highly recommend going on the boat ride if you re in the area and you have the time!

These guys know what they're doing. They take you up close to the Falls to experience the mist of the Falls during the day and they have a nice night cruise where they light up the Falls. The line was long, but the wait didn't feel long. Very nice and highly recommended if you're coming to the Falls area.

Gorgeous tour. The line moves quickly enough to where it's not tedious. Be prepared for an amazing view and make sure your camera is waterproof!

If you're planning on doing the Behind the Falls tour, you might consider keeping your poncho. You get one on both tours but it cuts down on the waste a bit (even though they're biodegradable).

I just can not describe the feelings to be able to see the beautiful blue water and falls from upclose ....i am again planning to go here again .for breathtaking view you have to take a cruise trip ..amazing amazing amazing ..worth the wait and money

The best way to be up close to view of the falls is on the Hornblower! You're given a complementary poncho, but be prepared to get wet!

This was an amazing experience. The pricing is reasonable and I would definitely reccomend this for anyone who hasn't done it yet.

Had a blast on the ferry, got fairly close too the American falls and the Horseshoe falls, you will be amazed at the natural beauty of these falls and the intensity at the same time.

Nice. Over priced. But what are you gonna do? You gotta see the falls, right? They have it down like hearding cattle, i suppose that's what it is though.

Excellent cruise to go on if you are in Niagara Falls. Must go cruise to get close to the Falls and get all soaked up and feel the power of the Falls. Overall the staff were friendly and getting on the boat was efficient. Highly recommended.

Took the night Illumination cruise which is a little longer than the daytime cruise, a little pricier, and doesn't go as close to the falls (so you don't get as wet.) My family loved it, which is why the five stars.
For me, it was exactly as I imagined: mists of fishy-smelling water in my face, making my mascara run. I retreated inside where it was slightly warmer and a lot drier, so everyone was happy.

You have to do the boat tour if you go to Niagra. It's Amazing to see the falls up close.

We went around 3:30 and only had to wait for the next boat to come in. Staff was friendly and efficient. We got on the boat and got out into the middle of the river and it felt so colossal. The experience was surreal. When you view the falls from the overlook areas, you see the majesty of them. But when you are on the Hornblower, you can feel the absolute power of the Falls. It felt like we were in a movie. I could barely open my eyes from the amount of water that was falling on my face and I loved every second of it. The atmosphere on the boat was electrifying. You absolutely have to ride the Hornblower if you come to Niagara; your trip would be incomplete if you didn't!

Fun but go early to get tickets and then wait in long line that moves good

Cruise was very fun. You board the cruise and the boat takes you by the American falls first and then the Canadian falls. When at the Canadian falls it waits there a little for you to get splashed. Stay on the right side of the boat and you will get splashed the most. Basically stay on the side facing Canada. That will give you the best experience. Also the upper level is the best. You will get a raincoat (poncho) so that you won't get fully wet. You can take the poncho home as souvenir. Strollers can be parked outside so that you don't have to take it on the boat. It's safe to keep it there as staff watches them. Stroller will not get wet. Go early morning as the rush is less. There are plenty of restrooms closer to where you board the boat. On hot days wear the poncho only after you board. If you wear it early you will sweat a lot. You will have plenty of time after boarding to do that. They will take your photo and you can buy it when exiting. You will get two photos with different background.

Fantastic experience. Staff good a keeping everything moving along & up & down the lifts. Poncho supplied which is good as you would get very wet. Highly recommended.

Fun experience. You gotta try it at least once in your lifetime. You're gonna get wet so be ready for that. The supply a poncho of course The boat gets pretty close to the falls. Really gives you a feel of how big they are. A must do if its your first time in Niagara Falls.

Great value, and the new boats seem to go a bit further in to the horseshoe basin than the old boats did

Was running when Maid of the mist wasn't, so that is a bonus.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Niagra. They really pack the people on the boat, but it is such a great experience. Cost was well worth the experience. Don't hesitate to give this a try!!

Beautiful ride through the falls. The ponchos couldn t be better quality as it feels like you re wearing a trash bag but they get the job done. Very organized. Great experience.

This has been on my list of things to do for a long time and hands down the best things I have done with my family. Adults and children had a blast.
Perfect for that up close and personal experience with the falls!!
You got to see detail, water fowl and then the amazing falls power.
Even though they provide you with rain ponchos you will still get wet, just not drenched! But that is the point of this experience. My kiddos suggest water goggles for one point and wish I had a waterproof camera.
I thought at first we would be waiting long but it is so well organized that the line kept us moving.
I was thrilled to get top deck, front and center!
Staff are friendly and you got to have this experience. Daytime was great, I can only imagine the night time experience with the falls lit up. Worth the money!

The fireworks Cruise was absolutely amazing. It was nice not only to see The Falls lit up at night but to see the firework show thank you. Even though the water was freezing it was really cool to get so close to the falls. I would definitely recommend this attraction.

It was clean frieny and informative. Will do it again next year

Buy your tickets online, you will save waiting time. It's worth it, it's very impressive to see the falls from below!

My family had a great time. We went on a Saturday morning and purchased the tickets before we arrived. We walked right on the boat with almost no wait. Very exciting trip. We were lower level on right side and got a great view and pretty wet. The crew was very friendly and efficient. A must do while at Niagara falls.

What an experience!! We went yesterday around 5pm and walked straight onto the boat. Walking past today around midway and the line is massive. I suggest going later like we did!!!! Quick and easy to buy tickets and a great experience overall

I went on this ferry with my wife and son, and it was a ton of fun! The day I went there wasn't even a long line, everything moved super smoothly! We were at the bottom and on the boat within 10 minutes! I purchased our tickets online which I highly recommend everyone does! That way you don't have to wait in line for the tickets and then promptly get in another line to wait for the ferry. You simply go to the ferry line. It was excellent! The ferry has what is called the "Full Mist Experience" which means they navigate right into the middle of the Great Canadian Horseshoe section of the Falls, and you get bombarded with mist! It was a TON of fun!!! You are given free ponchos, and they also have gear you can purchase like rain coats, sandals, etc. It's quite expensive however, and we found the poncho worked just fine for us! Anyway, definitely recommend it!

This was the best time i had on vacation with my daughter. Loved the night lights and activities.

The Canadian version of the popular American Maid of the Mist tour, the boat brings you close to the falls to experience them first hand. Would definitely recommend for any trip to the falls. Tip: we arrived earlier in the morning and went through the lines fairly quickly.

Must have done in Niagara Falls, but the Maid of the Mist looks more authentic.

Amazing and unforgettable experience. Visiting Niagara from Canada side then it's Hirnblower only. We enjoyed our time and it was a thrilling experience.

Great time! Great experience. Clearly they have this down to a science! From the timing of elevator doors to cattle choral ing customers to and from the boat they are doing well.
FIX YOUR COMPUTER TICKET BOOTHS! That is the only reason why it s not 5 stars. The computers are old and junky. Luckily a friend ordered online via their phone! In front of the broken computers. As for staff, wow they had a lot directing traffic! I think there is good reason due to the ignorance of many tourists with the traffic movement logistics. If there was one thing I would love you to work on is patrolling the pushy customers that butt-the-line.
Gold tip
Our research found that waiting for the next boat put us in the front of the line. The waiting was worth the front of the boat experience. Make sure you get there early and have men book-end your group to hold your spot as I find travellers do not respect personal space at the front of the boat. Kids need to be put in the middle as many later passengers try to elbow you out of your space. Perhaps the company could limit the spots at the front to prevent the crowding.

So much fun going in to the falls. Def worth doing

We were hesitant on taking the boat tour to the falls because it was such a cloudy day but being able to be up close with the water falling down was such a different experience than above.

Also it felt like a right of passage to be soaked by all of the mist

The evening ride with colored falls, thunderstorms and fireworks was purely amazing!

Epic experience; went at approximately 10.30am on a Friday. Very well organised and professional.
We had a brilliant time and got to experience the magnificent falls! Highly recommend HNC!

A must do while in Niagara Falls. Would love to have gotten closer to the American Falls. There was information about the falls being played over a loud speaker but you can t hear it because of the other people and the noise of the falls.

A lot of fun! You get soaked so don't go on a cold day...unless you're into that. I would recommend doing this first before the start of your activities so you can dry off while walking about.

Maid of the mist is one of the best views you can have way more worth it compared to the tunnel tour!

We took the night cruise and watched the fireworks from the boat - fantastic!
