With the exception of cars, mahn gets almost everything

We were looking for a countertop, and even reaching anyone in the kitchen department was the first hurdle. After someone was finally there and we decided on a record, we were told that the record no longer exists. We then had to choose a different worktop. However, after a week it was said again that the worktop in our dimensions does not exist. So we had to choose another worktop a week later.
This time everything seemed to have worked and we didn't get another call.
The worktop should be delivered in week 41, if we hadn't called and asked, nobody would have told us that the delivery would be postponed by a week.
When I called this week to inquire about the status, I was not even put through to the colleague and so I had no choice but to go there.
When we arrived there, we had to find out that the worktops were there, but the sink would take another week, even though we were told when we ordered that it would be there within three days.

I think it's just unbelievable when you're already spending so much money that you can't even make sure that the customer is informed if something is delayed or changed, instead of having to call or drive by yourself again and again. Now we have to wait another week until we can finally install everything.

I can only give one star for the nice salespeople, they were always friendly and helpful. In the complaints department, however, one does not allow a customer to finish speaking, the errors are immediately passed on to the customer and statements that do not correspond to the truth are assumed, one is not called back.

We will no longer build our house with this hardware store. We are on loan and rely on the expertise and reliability of specialist advisors. The experienced craftsmen can certainly shop there, although the quality cannot be compared with a specialty shop.

A few days ago I bought a Bosch multifunctional tool in the Braunschweig store and asked for advice beforehand as to whether I could use my existing tools, I had shown the "specialist advisor" a sample, he said yes. That would all fit.
Today I want to use the multi-function tool and notice that the mounting device has been changed, the Starlock device no longer accepts older tools.
So - drive back to Braunschweig, sacrifice at least 1 hour and cover a distance of 50 km by car and bring the device back.

It is a shame that during this time (Corona) not even a little attention is paid to distance, when the weather is nice, crowds crowd through the corridors.
In my opinion, only a certain number of people would have to be let in and not used as a family outing.
Too bad other hardware stores have stricter controls for the benefit of the customer and seller.

Well sorted, clear and friendly staff that greets in passing! Where is this? Sellers are visible and approachable, answers friendly and helpful.
Waiting time at the cutting certainly depends on the time of day but here too the employees are present and friendly.

Top Hornbachmarkt especially the Drive In convinced

Have the EC card lying or dropping it at the drive in checkout. After about 15 minutes I was back on site. The cashier said quite innocently that another customer had taken the card with him to give it to a bank branch. The result was bewilderment on my part. After consulting with the head office, I was told that the card had been found by a customer ... Grin!
Hm, I like to go shopping there and often, but that's the summit.

Incidentally, I had the card blocked immediately and applied for a replacement.
The lost card is still lost.

Favorite Baumarkt - nice employees and great assortment

Unfortunately too little order, dusty (and I mean literally) products and hardly any staff. This is a pity, as I have appreciated the Hornbachbaumarkt for years. Also, the cash register for self-scanning is not an asset to me, especially if no other box office is busy.
I am certainly not a regulatory fanatic. But even a cheap hardware store does not have to look like a remnants market. And I do not want to wear old clothes before visiting.
