Took my dad in yesterday to Emergency, when we go there my dad was almost falling cause of the pain he had and the receptionist didn t want to take him in cause they had no clean Rooms, my dad was screaming for help and receptionist got mad at us cause we kept asking for a doctor while my dad was on the floor in waiting area, she turned around and told the policeman on Duty, I told them we had no rooms, can t they F...... wait?... We had to carry my dad back to the Car and take him to Providence East which they took him in right when we got there..... Just go to another hospital, Staff is really rude and this was my 2nd time coming here and almost the same thing happened, this is some BS Hospital!

Worst hospital EVER! They tried giving me medications without telling me what it was i declined and gave me so much attitude dont expect me to drink something without telling me what it is! The RN was asking questions not related to my "health" took over 4 hours to do an ultrasound ! And to top it off they billed my insurance before even being seen by the dr ! Scam!

I agree with all the negative comments on this ER. I had to go there for my self..I was very sick and terrible pain. I had the flu it was severe due to my underlying medical conditions. The doctor in attendance was so unprofessional so cold!!! I was in severe pain thdy gave me a shot for pain....they had to give me another pain killer.. he told me..(.there's not much I can do for you, you need to learn how to manage your pain and we'll.. hm! everyone has the flu.) I looked at my husband and asked him to take me out of that place. It's a shame that after many negative reviews they don't do anything to solve the problem.

I ve been trying to get a number so that I can get an itemized bill statement and I ve been given 5 different numbers and no one returns calls!!! Horrible customer service!!!

Please stay away from the lady Dr. whom works over night. I went in unbearable pain and she did nothing but tell me nothing was wrong and I was not needing pain medication. I was in tear for four hours and she decided to leave the facility for two hours with not in order for pain meds. Turned out I had a massive cyst after ultrasound and she looked so shook when she realized she messed up by not sending any pain meds my way. And to top it off she didn t even prescribe pain meds to this day. Not even tylonel. Nurses were great. Exit receptionist had the worst attitude. Please avoid this place.its HORRIBLE.

Very unorganized they had me waiting for more than 3 hours horrible service

I don t recommend this place to anyone having a real emergency! Unless your there for stomach ache or a headache. Took my 4 year old for the very first time because he open up his head like 4 centimeters and the bleeding will not stop, running inside to get help fast the lady at the front desk looking at what was going on she just said fill up this paper work and will be with you took an hour!! To go in see the doctor!! My wife and myself were confused as what was going on?? My son with a 3 centimeter wound on his head and bleeding out and they just had us waiting, horrible experience going inside with the doctor really unprofessional I looked how the doctor put a shot of antibiotics on my sons head And needle came out the other way Just piercing his head it was a horrible experience! never going back to that place ever!

If I could give Zero Star I would they missed a FRACTURE on my nephews arm. They cleared him to go home said it s just swollen and then they called 7 HOURS LATER to say Oh by the way Nevermind he did break his arm . Just drive the extra miles to other trusted hospitals like Del Sol, Hospitals of Providence, Sierra East.

I was there a couple of days with a big problem in my system, honestly it was bad services from the Dr. Mouw he didnt do anything at all no lab no urine test nothing he look at me and gave me my diagnos thats just not having etiquete. I went to the hospital i always go I had a serious problem and i cant imagine if i had heard this unprofesional diagnose from this so call Dr. We usually go to hospital beacause we trust the professionals that they put in those hospital but if you really want to be treat it right go another place, and good luck.

Waiting time is soooo long.. staff upfront chit chatting... and unprofessional.. horrible

Been here 2 different times and this emergency room is great. Didnt wait over 30 min each time. Drs and nurses are very polite and take their time explaining and answering all your questions and results. Very happy with my experiences here.

Went on Tuesday with COVID-19 symptoms and tested negative however I am still very sick and have not improved since my visit. No other medical examinations were done and no prescriptions were written out for me. I could have tested false negative but they didn't even bother taking that into consideration. Terrible.

I took my 16month old baby because he had swolled some apple chunks and he was having trouble swallowing and passing saliva. He would not stop crying and he was trying to vomit but couldn't. To me this was an emergency, I was scared he was having trouble breathing. I get to the hospital sign some papers and wait, and wait. I got impatient because he seemed so uncomfortable, I asked the front desk lady if this was not an emergency he is a baby and the apples are stuck in his throat. He calls the nurse and the doctor comes and checks him saying : "he's breathing fine and he's throat is clear. He is just red because of the crying, just go home and give him something to drink". He saw my son for 1min and sent me home but of course they charged the insurance for the visit. I came back to the hospital after 1hour and 1/2, my son didnt wanna drink anything wouldn't stop crying. I couldn't lay him down cause he would choke with his saliva. I'm at the hospital again in the waiting room for about 1 hour and nothing, they never called my son. He finally threw up the apple chunks in a trash can and felt much better. I left the hospital very dissaponted and upset. While I was there 3 other people left because they had waited for hour without being called.

. Incompetent front desk asked me what was wrong with my one year old. Um first she can't talk to let me know. Second I told them she woke up crying as I'd she were in pain.

I have nothing to complain about as far as wait time or staff. In less than 10 minutes we were called back. The nurses and doctor were good with my baby. Everything went smooth. I did try looking for urgent care and night pediatricians before going to this ER, but nothing was open on Saturday night/Sunday early morning in my area. The reason for my two stars is my bill. I understand emergency rooms are more expensive. I called to ask for an itemized receipt and it says I was charged for a Level 3 procedure???? A swab for Influenza and RSV is a procedure? No, actually I was told I m being charged 2,380.50 for a facility charge! Yeah, so just because I used their room now I m being charged 1,709.00 this is after applying insurance credit or whatever. I paid that much for labor and delivery. One thing, they do offer is assistance on your bills IF you qualify. This is so ridiculous. Talk about a money hungry hospital. I will never go there again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Bad bad bad service...waste of taxpayers money. Shut this place down! Took my husband in for severe burns on his face and they didn't even clean the wound. They told him to go to UMC.

I have NEVER been treated so horribly by a "Dr." In my life! I have never had a "Dr." Talk down on me, and make me feel so small and insignificant in such a short amount of time. I mean it was ridiculous how unprofessional, and pompous he was! I have NEVER in my entire life come across someone so heartless, rude, and judgemental. That was beyond ridiculous! I HONESTLY felt it was a joke, I was really waiting for the cameras to pop out... You don't know anything about me and for you to have the audacity to insult me, then make the comment "well I'm just going to give you (medicine name) it doesnt do anything for that, but..." you're joking right? So what in the world are you giving it to me for then? This was just UNFREACKINGBELIEVABLE! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT HOSPITAL, AND I CAUTION OTHERS! Don't let anyone treat you like you dont matter and as if you're beneath them! Smh!!! I'm disgusted by my experience, I cant believe I was so excited for this hospital to open, and posting about it.

Not many in the waiting room when I arrived, no sirens coming in, yet I waited 2 hours to be seen. I get it, I'm not the only patient, but only 1, yes, ONE doctor on duty. Hello, what if there are a bunch of patients one night? Overflow the waiting room and over whelm the doctor?

My doctor, Dr. Anthony Vaca was pleasant,n informative and gentle, however, the nursing staff had ZERO personality, I was offered no pillows, no blanket (and it was freezing) and I had to walk myself down the hall to x-ray. What if I had a broken bone? Still walking there?

On the good side, beautiful hospital, private rooms in ER. That's about it.

Staff more doctors, get nurses with personalities. No-one deserves to see a grump at any hour. The gal from the billing Dept took my insurance card and was gone over an hour. The doctor just discharged me, she never came back. This hospital only has a couple floors, where did she go?

The staff is really unprofessional and rude took 3 1/2 hours to get my son seen and all she said was go get some over the counter syrup but its my bad i dint learn my leason when i almost got sent home to die a few years back by the same old lady doctor she said i had indigestion and i told her to please make sure she said ill take an look but i dont think its necessary i ended up having a cyst on my kidney and had surgery the next day then caught two more infections at the hospital because of the dirtiness ....but never ever again HOSPITALS OF PROVIDENCE ARE THE WORST HOSPITALS IN THE AREA...FROM NOW ON UNIVERSITY MEDICAL ONLY!

Please please please if you are reading these reviews in the waiting room do yourself and loved ones a favor and drive to the closest other hospital you can reach safely. This place is a sham of a hospital, 1 doctor present at hospital and it the ER doctor once you re admitted as a patient they keep you there despite being unable to treat underlying illness properly so they transfer you out 3-4 days later after they ve charged several thousands in fees.Cant admit children, traumas ,cardiac patients they waste the community time,health and monitary means without disregard. Nurses are skilled and knowledgeable that s the only thing keeping them from being exposed as a sham. All other Dr encounters are through what s called telemedicine computer and you speak to a person 600 miles away unable to assess you or really practice medicine safely through a camera. I don t even know how they got permitted to have a helicopter pad to receive airlift patients for this place of a joke. Another thing too patients can t be discharged with medications requiring a controlled prescription as doctor is 600 miles away. Anyways that s my rant ask the admissions clerk any of these questions and you ll see they are all very true. Please don t waste your time here.

No real urge at this place. I get it youre working the late night shift but a little sense of urgency at the Emergency room would be nice. Though we were clearly one of the very few patients being seen, the wait was abnormally high. I could only imagine if the parking lot was packed how long it would take to be seen.

The women in the front need to improve there attitude. Second time here & it s the same thing.

This hospital is by far the worst ive been to, it had happened once that they did not attend me well. But on Friday I took my son in because he had a rash and they just prescribed cetrizine, the Dr wasn't even in the room for 5 min. I took my son in again to the dr (his doctor this time) because during the weekend he kept being itchy and he got a fever turns out he had scarlet fever! Are you serious I don't even agree with you charging the medicaid for the "job" she supposibly did, if you don't like your job don't work in a hospital, its great we got a hospital here in horizon but you should seriously consider getting good staff better doctors.

If there was less than 1 whole star thats what I would rate this place . My husband was on horrible pain we got checked and not 1 nurse or doctor came on tp3 check him for more than an hour. I finally went to ask the station full of nurses and assistants laughing having good time if anyone was going to come help my husband who is in pain. I was told by a nurse the doc is with other patient and said Cassandra another nurse had just checked him. We both said that wad incorrect no one had checked him she ignored that info and said maybe we would be next to see doc.We waited another 30 min and decided to leave after a total of 2 hrs. We came to Del Sol ER and in 20 min had seen doctor she had checked him and prescribed his meds to help his pain. So please if you have an emergency DO NOT I repeate DO NOT expect to get any help there. I was very dissapointed at the way people are treated when you are there for help.

First and last time that I go there. The Doctor was nice but the nurse was rude he didnt even help me lay on the bed. The lady that was in the front she had glases also had her malcarienta face at least try to smile a little bit. I went there because is literally in front of my house, next time I ll go to the one that is located on Oregon street.

Their WiFi password is wecare4u ... lmao. Nothing could be further from the truth. No sense of urgency. I told them when I signed in that my baby has 106 degree fever, 30 minutes later and we re still in the waiting area while he is crying loudly and shaking uncontrollably. I can t say enough bad things about this place. It s a shame there are no other ERs close by. You re better off seeing a witch doctor.

I went to take my son with possible flu, after 2hrs and a half of waiting to be able to enter the "emergency room" and after 3 families who left before I entered, because of the long waits, at last we entered, you took the vital to my son and we go to the famous "emergency room" they take vital temperature pressure etc. I wonder x visit, he says ok wait for the doctor. My wait was 1 hour 45 min. And the doctor or his lights were only seen nurses pass and the doctor disque sitting there at the desk in front of a computer, because of so much waiting, I said a lot to k come the doctor I told them I understand k there are many sick but waiting it's too much and nobody moves, they told me what are you waiting for and what did I say to the doctor go to the room, and she said oh you're not expecting anything, and they told me if you want to go this right, ask how long it will take more He said there is only one doctor for 10 patients there is no I can not say how much longer and I told them not to go away because I was thrown up the sheet that they do not take responsibility for what could happen to my son coming out of there, I mean as it is possible that in a hospital that charges even the pearls of life only have a doctor being hospital and logical there are sick if they were healthy we were not there, it seems that one goes to ask them for free things to treat us like that, one pays and good k charge one until the last cent k seems k one will only pay the hospital dola, I think k should have better service and more staff.

I love our new hospital. Short wait and the staff was very professional and polite. This will be the only hospital I will use.

A young man fainted in the lobby while I was waiting to be called, I ran and told the girl at the window and she said she was sorry but they didn t have any beds until more people were dismissed, it took another 30 minutes before they came out to pick him up off the floor! I m appalled, can t believe how they showed no concern, no empathy, really upsetting, I won t bring my family here anymore! UMC here I come! By the way I would have chosen zero star.

Took my mother in for stomach pain. Doctor says she is constipated and send her home. Turns out she had gallstones and stage 4 cancer. Will never be back to this hospital ever again. Beware

Didnt even see the doctor. Just got some tests done and a nurse told me my diagnosis. Was told to wait in the front after getting discharged to sign some paperwork and my excuse note. Have been here since 3pm, it s now 6:30 and I m still waiting for the papers and my excuse note.

We have used this ER twice in the last 6 months.
The first time it was for myself. I ended up with a herniated disc in my back. The staff was professional and always kept me in the loop as to what they were doing. All tests were done quickly and the results were always given within the timeframe they gave us. I was in out and done in such a short time which of course is a plus
The second time was for my 2 year old son. He has a cut to his head that needed help. The nurse was so gentle cleaning him up! They were so fast with him. Tried the least invasive treatment first but it did not work for him. They were so gentle and careful getting his stitches in that he literally fell asleep while they sewed him up!
This ER has been the absolute best I've ever been to.

This place is the worst either they hired unexperiencedt or people without a heart.They will not be considerate of any situation that arrives to their facility.My husband was in alot of pain couldn't walk due to injury I was helping him in thinking they would offer a wheelchair but no instead front desk approach me to get out only one person allowed expecting my husband to walk alone .Very disappointed In this hospital they should restaff with people more experienced.If u need medical attention go to either urgent care or another hospital.

I been in a few hospitals in my time but this has too be the worst,you basically have to beg for breakfast,lunch and dinner.The nursing staff here is full of job hopping rejects and it's obvious.

After reading all these reviews I regret going to this hospital even more. The "Dr" I got was incredibly rude and made me feel like I was such a bother to attend to. I went in because I was having trouble breathing and I felt my heart was racing after being sick for over a week. The Dr literally said in the most sarcastic tone "Okay... So why did you decide to come in?" Making me feel embarrassed that I went (when I shouldn't have been) . The entire staff was HORRIBLE !!! From the front desk to the nurses she everyone in the back. I went in at night and you could tell they were all just hanging out. It was like I was making their lives more difficult for being there. The guy they sent in to take my blood didn't know what he was doing and hurt me so bad, my blood squirted EVERYWHERE! (If only you could see the bruise he left me) Then the nurse said she was going to prep my other untouched arm for an IV because she said I "looked" dehydrated, I protested and told her I didn't want the IV unless the Dr said I needed it to which she said "I'm already here and I have it ready, anyway I know she will order fluids". So there goes my other arm poked to, only for her to come back minutes later to tell me I'm being released. My heart rate was elevated but the tests she ordered came back normal so they said it was racing because I was in pain, so they sent me home and told me to take pain meds. Worst experience I've EVER had at a hospital. I had always had a good image of what hospital staff was supposed to be and friendly, kind and caring but this experience left me crying all the way home and stuck with a bill, really wish I hadn't gone.

Front receptionist Marisol was the most unhelpful and rude. People come here for emergencies and there s no help from her whatsoever. My brother fractured his clavicle and decided to go to the nearest emergency room. I called beforehand to ask her if they accepted my brothers insurance and she said yes. Upon arrival I handed her the Insurance card with the ID and admitting papers, she saw the insurance card, grabbed it & handed it back to me and told me insurance card will be asked for at a later time. After my brother was admitted I asked how payment was going to be managed because I had never been to a emergency room before. Upon doing so Marisol advises me the insurance is not accepted by the hospital. Note, I CALLED AND ASKED BEFORE ARRIVING. HANDED HER THE INSURANCE CARD AND SHE RETURNED BEFORE BEING ADMITTED. She could have told me my insurance was not accepted there.
Receptions then continued to argue with me with a rude tone instead of handling in a professional way, if there was something I missed or I was misinformed about anything, she continued to verbally argue back and say she did not advise me through the phone, Yet I redialed the phone number one more time and Marisol was the one to answer.
She did not handle my question or situation with respect nor professionalism.

Had an amazing experience and when I got my shots i didn't feel anything

They triaged me in rapidly good bedside manner and very informative.

Fast and friendly. No issues with insurance. Doctor and RN nurse very respectful.

The front receptionist was super rude the Dr. Vaca or Baca has a horrible bedside manner. I will never bring my family here and I will never recommend to my friend. HORRIBLE place.

This place is horrible. Had severe neck pain that caused an anxiety attack. First thing they ask is if I'm sure I took the correct dosages for my medications that I take . I get that... But then to treat absolutey nothing that I mention is wrong with me and just to try and give me pain meds was unacceptable... Come to find out I had 2 bulging discs in my neck . If they would've taken the time to do imaging and actually listen to what I was saying it could've saved me a lot of pain and suffering .

Nurses take advantage of elderlys....they are not treated with the care they should be treated with....very unprofessional...dont take your elderly relatives their if they cant defend themselves..

Great experience my son had a febroil seizure the staff ran in to action the nurse was able to get an iv in one shot the dr was amazing we were transferred to the children providence in down town where we had horrible service thank you to the staff at the emergency room for helping us and being so grate

Very good hospital. All these bad reviews are typical, people just love to complain. This is the second time taking my son, and they did a really good job both times. I'm glad we have this location.

I went there earlier this morning in extreme pain and very sick.

I received care with an exceptional bedside manner not often seen these days.

Very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional staff that took great care of me.

If you like unprofessional and rude people then this is the hospital for you. All you hear is complaining of the people coming in. Staff, nurses & Doctor's don't take the time to explain what is going on. Sad that we finally have a hospital here in Horizon and it's full of people who only care about a pay check!

I was scared of going here after reading most of the reviews, but the location was too convenient so I thought I give it a try. Everyone I met was nice and friendly, and we were seen in a very timely manner. I did go in the evening so maybe their staff is better at that time? Can't say for sure but if you've never been, give it a shot before writing them off. Maybe they've learned and improved.

Very rude staff and the waiting time is horrible! I overheard one of the nurses talking bad about a patient and when we asked for help because they where in pain they said they couldn t do anything about it

waited and waited for my son to be seen. almost 4 hours, reason beign there was only one doctor working. i dont consider this an "emergency hospital" at all

Bad bad service. We got there at 1am they had two patients only and left at 4:13am. My husband had to go to the front desk and ask them how much longer so we can leave. The dr and nurses where just talking and laughing they finally decided to dismiss us. Only for them to prescribe Motrin. Then the nurse did not wanted to give me a letter to be excused from work because I was not the patient. My 2 year old son was the patient and obviously I need to be excused from work because I'm the mother I'm the one who is going to take care of him I can't go back to work and just leave him like that. Also they charge you on the spot they don't even ask you if you can pay right now. I recomend texas tech they are fast and caring. They are always packed but trust me they provide excellent service. Here they don't take their job seriously.

The front desk person is useless and doesn t know how to read!

Emergency on call, Dr. R.Mangel, misdiagnosed my sister. She was in so much pain, he never once took vitals or took a look at her. Said "she has a fever, therefore she must have a UTI". Gave her antibiotics, took x-rays n labs. Sent us home saying there was nothing wrong with her, after all. A day later we went to another hospital on Westside, they immediately took my sister in for surgical emergency, after x-rays n cat scan. She had a volvulus, that was rupturing. This hospital has incompetent staff and worst of all, so called doctors.

They paid no attention to my partners needs. Rude, pretentious and a negative atmosphere overall. I had to constantly request that they come over and assist her with an allergic reaction that she succumbed to. She has Non Epileptic Seizures. Sometimes she screams from the pain. They didnt even check on her just closed the door because she was screaming. You're better off playing doctor at home than coming here.

Very unprofessional, the wait time is horrible almost 5 hours there with my kids, doctor checked my kids in front of other patients as well as the other patients in front of us in a little waiting area in the back, what kind of patients privacy is that how can a doctor be so unprofessional, they did a couple of procedures to my son in front of everyone, this is the worst hospital I've ever been to.

Well I did love the nurses and the doctor, they took well care of me and really helped me my problem the only thing that didn't like was of course the waiting. I had really sharp pain in my stomach it started at 10pm and I went to the hoaphospat 12am and didn't leave til almost 6am just so they can tell me I have gallstones. I would really appreciate it if they took it out there might as well or at least sent me to a REAL hospital so they could of done it right away. One more thing I get that it was night time when I went there but I mean a co pay with insurance is still $250 are you serious lol. Other than that... Good people love them and thankful they could of told me what was wrong thank God I went asap.

Worst experience ever went to the location was seen right away but the doctor that took care of my 7 year old was really rude and short my son. Had gone for a ear ache they did a ear lavage and hurt him blood was coming out. Ask doctor for an antibiotic she stated she was not goong to give anything will never go there again doctors are rude and staff needs to po ur more attention to there customers... went to another urgent care right after he was given cookies and juice was seen right away nurses were sweet and nice. Doctor gave an antibiotic dont trust your little ones with the doctors herr

I don t recommend this place if you have an emergency. I got to emergency room because of a pain that my mom had. They had us waiting there since 6:15 a.m until 7:00 when I ask the clerk how much time it will take? It really was an emergency my mom was very pale and she couldn t stand up she had an intense pain in the side of her body. The clerk told me we are in a code 3 is a transfer from another hospital and everyone is there with the patient just give a little bit of more time . Of course I could wait more time and I decide to bring my mom to Sun City emergency room. They got her so quickly about 3 min after arriving.

Nurses, doctors, and the staff are very professional. This will now be our place to come for any emergencies. We are vey pleased with the services we received.

Very nice staff and clean facility, but does not make up for there lack of expertise. Went in for a few stitches last week and the doctor did a terrible job. Had the stitches taken off this week and you can see that the doctor at Providence did a piss poor job. One side of the cut overlaps the other exposing flesh beneath my skin.

The doctor was horrible!! Once he found out that i didn't have insurance, he didn't want to deal with me and discharged me without any care! I had to go back a 2nd time becasue i couldn't take the pain and it was the same A-hole! When he decided to order diagnostic test, he told the nurse, " well i guess im stuck with this one". The nurse even looked embarrassed and when he left she told me sorry. I stayed in bed for a few hours with no pain management. Nurse came in and said That I was been discharged and she told me that the doctor said I need to follow up with my oncologist and that I need a Mammogram. Wow!! That's it!! No pain management, no sympathy and he expects me to pay my bill! I usually pay but refuse to give him a single cent!! Nurses were great though!!

If I could I d do 0 stars this place is trash for an emergency. Not only did I hear another person call you out on wait times while being there. But my wife had to wait over an hour just to get in the back to get looked at the medical staff didn t do anything worth the wait all they did was give some meds and call it good. We had to go back due to the same issue after she called and asked for something to be done, and they did just played games. The medical personnel need to be re-evaluated seems like they don t truly care to do their job the fullest. Complete trash on you.

Horrible horrible staff .all the nurses and medical assistants are rude . They don t even comfort you or communicate with u . I had question about why I had to drink a pill and the RN just said I don t have to give It to you. Like really lady I m just wondering why And how did this happen I am not just gona drink a pill without knowing what s going on .. Surprisingly the receptionist were actually friendly cause they never are .
