Thank you sir maintains emergency cleaning I appreciate your just helping me with my baby's stroller and bottle.
I would tell you once. Please avoid going to this hospital I would have serious allegations with this doctors. We hospitalized one of my loved ones because of cancer. We would wait hours for the doctor to come and we would wait days for simple treatments. Our loved one died in front of our eyes and we are marked for life. So please if you want to save the ones you love avoid this hospital. Go to the juif hospital at least.
I don't know if we can call this emergency but, after spending 12 hours waiting after a doctor, I no longer call it emergency
I call it mistaking patients for idiots.
Emergency to avoid
I'm here as I'm writting this review. I've been sitting in the ER with a broken ankle for 11 & a half hours now. This shouldn't be the norm at all.
Excellent service when need emergency care, but to have his record for the CSST ............ I was transferred to 3 different departments (emergency, archives, another level of archives) who send the ball back without advancing the thing ...
For follow-up with md, I have nothing to say, these teams are great. On the other hand, I was hospitalized, once among many others, of which once due to my glycemia which was enormously high. At one point, I felt the symptoms that my blood sugar was low and indeed, after taking my rate, it was low. I do not know how many times (too much in my opinion) I rang the bell to bring me an orange juice and was told that someone is coming! After a dozen times, nobody came and I had to go to the post of nurse to ask for a juice. As I said, this is not the first time I have been hospitalized at this hospital, I did not really have the choice because my endocrinologist was following me at this hospital so I can tell you stories of horror. And what about the blood tests? When we leave work rather to arrive at the sampling center at 16:05, to be closed the curtain in the face at 16:45, because the 3 nurses on duty spend 10 minutes to answer a single patient instead of continuing to call them numbers of people waiting, doing the blood tests and the other that could answer the lady, when we are supposed to give a service until 17h! 40 minutes waiting at the sampling center while there were only maybe 5 people to go before me when I follow arrival !!! Thank God my follow-ups are done elsewhere! My rib is AVOID this hospital at all costs !!
In Oncology these a great good team I trust these top doctors a special thanks to Dr. Cohen
Wasted 9 hours and a half of my life because the hospital doesn't have the balls to tell you they don't have enough doctors. They'd rather keep quiet and make you waste a whole day. Had to go cuz I need to eat and sleep too, you know? Never saw a doctor. From 11h30 to 21h00. The nurse told me I was ranked "somewhat urgent" and it shouldn't take too much time.
I did the math during my wait. There was only 1 doctor, yet 4 nurses for triage. What's the point? Unless you are about to die yourself, you won't see a doctor, because everyone in a wheelchair, every old person, every woman with a kid, everyone in a stretcher will pass before you, even the one with a police officer following because he's the one that started a criminal fight. And even all those above I saw waiting for 6 hours + during my stay.
Takes between 20 - 40 minutes for the doctor to meet a person, and there's always at least 1 guy of the list above that enters the room every 30 minutes.
Welcome to Quebec healthcare, folk. We've been having a shortage of doctors since 15 years prior and the government still applies the "strategy" of pretending everything's still ok. Why can't I just buy common antibiotics over the counter? Do we all need to be treated like babies? Why can cows, porks and chickens get antibiotics more easily than us humans? Tired of being treated like a dumb kid.
Despite the dirtiness of the hospital, they give good service
Very good experience, prompt, professional and courteous treatment, by both doctors and hospital staff.
Well done for this dedicated staff nothing is
Perfect. Thanks to Dr. Mabon for his skill. A note of excellent.
The employees are friendly but even if you have a medical appointment they make you wait minimum 2 hours no common sense. They tell you to put your file in X place then other people come to put them on top so those who arrive after you go before you. I wonder if they go by priority appointments. No sense in addition to any parking in the surrounding area and expensive parking inside plus they make you wait for hours.
After 12 hours of waiting nothing on the horizon. The staff is nice except a woman who works with a blue lab coat not green pants who has another beast. Really not friendly. Why there is just 1 doctor not more than a hundred people waiting
Rotten the main entrance. The cars taxis parking the place for buses handicapped always paged not able to get off someone without getting bumped up with someone else. And parking for people who come from outside Montreal parking is full in the winter during a period of snowfall No way to go to his appointment at this time. Shit I will go elsewhere.
I ve been here for more than 15 hours waiting for a diagnosis. I came yesterday afternoon with a terrible lower back pain, I cannot walk but this is not an emergency. I am not dying, it s true, but it s not human at all let people waiting so long. Staff is very polite and friendly but they cannot do more than it s permitted. Go to another hospital if you have an emergency.
Blue wing. went there for an emergency detached retina. appointment at 11:50 got there at 10:50 and registered and was all set by 11. waited till 2:30 to see a nurse who put drops in my eye. then waited till 4:30 and was told there was a possible 2-2 1/2 hour wait as by 4 pm they had only seen the 10 am appointments. the only reason I am giving this place two stars is the young woman at reception was efficient and cordial..it was downhill from there. horrible experience, so old and dated and totally incapable of managing their appointments. avoid at all costs.
ps. if you are an English only speaker you will have a difficult time here. I speak both so it was not an issue.
Very bad experience in this hospital so much j, been regretted to come to them I give - 0
I prefer this hospital than the one of frock every time I went there I was well taken care of it is sure that if we go in the late evening we should expect to wait a long time because as in any hospital it falls has a doctor for the hospital so yes we'll wait hours and hours except that at least nurses are nice even when overflow and for reassessment its fast we can whine as we want but their job is not easy and in lack of staff thank you for all the good service received
Thank you to the entire Maisonneuve-Rosemont team, for which I am eternally grateful. Thanks to the neurosurgery I had with Dre. Maria Li, I completely regained my sight. The operation was done while I was still pregnant so I was entitled to all the specialists who followed me from A to Z. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Horible !!! Cure services to the emergency 9:30 am date for 2 benadryl and a cortisone cream the major problem still not resolved (dizziness and vision disorders) but the symptoms have nothing to do with wasp sting as the doctor says ! So we will have to go back to the hospital (probably not the HMR) tomorrow to find my sister unconscious because of the mediocrity of the service rendered by a staff who does not listen to the patients and who tries to do everything so that the patients before seeing the doctor !!!
long time to wait. 3 days to get all things done. People never get sick in Montreal.
Apart from the emergency or we expect too much!
On the floors during hospitalization the A ++ service Excellent establishment!
The staff is kind, courteous and very professional.
We must stop complaining and appreciate health care.
In some countries no $$ you stay dewors
Thank you for the advice of Chantal Leblanc nurse pivot pulmonary oncology without it I would already be dead and it's been two years now and I'm in great shape. xxx
I went back today, around 5.30 pm for a following up, after I got a little intervention to remove a cyst which has been done 3 days ago. The health worker who was after me, today, for curing the wound and changing the gaze, was came in and out to the room, couple of times, with the same par of gloves. Unbelievable!
If I would've said something about it, as a remark, I probably would got a fightback, and put on hold for hours for complaining and for being a trouble maker.
Physicians in particular and health care personnel in general in Canada are so pretentious, affected and arrogants, they probably believe about themselves, they are the Oracle of Delphi of modern times, or at least, part of the staff of the School of Athens.
Urgency is miserable time is very long. He does not call many people and when we say that we are in pain, he tells us that it is not urgent. It's the same every time, the government should have inspectors in their hospitals so that things can happen. We pay more and more taxes and fewer services. I hope that our messages are taken into account by the resource persons.
I had an absolutely horrible experience here. Blue section, orthopedics. I don't really know French and they were truly horrible about it. An intake clerk who spoke English fine enough made me wait an hour for someone English to come speak to me. In that time, he was speaking English on the phone with someone. I told him I'd be happy to speak with him and that his English is fine for me to understand him but he refused.
The other issue was the appointment bookings. First time, the doctor cancelled that morning and no one called me - I my appointment was for 3pm that day so there had been ample time to call. They didn't bat an eyelash. Didn't care at all. No apologies. Nothing. It took two hours to get another appointment (see above), and then I called the day before that new appointment two weeks later just to confirm. They cancelled it again with no intention of calling me. Unbelievable.
Can we say to the guardian of the emergency of the evening of December 20, 2018 that he was really nice?
Staff are rude. One of then was asking me what do you want ,then when i was telling him what was wrong with me, he did an exhausted face and left.
Don t go there. They don t care about their patients.
I advise nobody to go to this hospital really they treat patients like animals sitting on plastic benches for more than 8h and finally they give me an appointment in another clinic. It's not even a hospital especially never take your children in emergency there they will sleep all the time waiting on the chairs
Do not pay until you have had your services.
We are in 2016.
Horrible, horrible service. Rude, angry, indifferent and the slowest on the island. Please go ANYWHERE else but here!
An excellent hospital ... I gave birth to both my babies there and the staff was excellent ... had to got to emergency for my 3 yr old who had a hard time breathing and within minutes he was taken charge of ... very efficient. The pediatric ward is pretty amazing, taking the time to talk to the parents and explaining everything. My whole family is being followed at the hospital. My husband who have a blood disorder has been taken charge of and is being followed and my dad with colon cancer is being followed with a battery of test etc. To the ones who complain about the the long wait at the ER all I can tell you is that you don t see what goes on behind the emergency room .. they get many ambulances that show up with more urgent patients that need a while team of ppl to help save the patient.
Aside from the welcome. .... service of .....
The draw. .... no excuse the triage
It's like a lottery
I don't know why people are incubated in a waiting room for so long, probably to make them sick even more. I believe that for a province that puts a third of its budget in health, our service is less than a star
Please review the emergency procedures
A very disappointed citizen
Very bad experience.(nurses)Staff don t care about the patients. Thanks
I confirm it is the worst hospital for a pregnancy monitoring. They do not take the complications seriously. It is also noted 1/5 in an article of Lapresse.
I was this morning with my sick little girl, very quick reception, as well as triage, the professional nurse did a nasal cleansing to my little tylenol, 40 minutes later, we saw the doctor very nice, prescription and return at home 1h30 after our arrival.
The lady who works in the emergency department (admissions) at the night shift with this hair that looks like a boat rope and looks very bad at the crossing is quite rough and badly raised, 13 hours of waiting plus the presence of this cotunta becomes the hospital stay in this hospital a real misfortune, I would never have to go back !!!
Emergency ambulance entered the night after a car accident, I was left on a stretcher in the corridor 8h without anyone came to see me despite the cerebral pressure, a pressure of 190/110 and an antorse. I had to complain (which is not in my nature) to 2 nurses since the first told me to wait for my turn.
expected 19.hours in total. and the night nurse did not like her job so much that she looked on us with a carde behavior. I had to do the most with her for what changes the bandage to my boyfriend.
I am currently in the ER with my son and daughter... we have been waiting for 16 hours to see a doctor........ I am speechless
Nice staff but no english spoken at all. Services and instructions all in french, to the point we missed an appointment, could not understand instructions of when, what time, and ended taking a medication by mistake. Too bad and too sad. We should all be treated the same no matter color or language.
I expected more... had to wait 11 hrs! 11 hours... on a rainy Sunday, and only few people. 11 hours... I couldn't move due to back injury that made me unable to walk on my left leg nor sit bc the sciatica nerve was pinched. A few other people (3-4 of them) had less pain and was sitting comfortably with either eye twitching or brain headache that ran to their foot and only had to wait 4-6 hrs and got in the same time as me. I overheard their diagnosis while I was screaming in pain and couldn't find a comfortable position... I still had mad pain in my left leg when I left. I receive some medicine to reduce the pain and they did an X-ray. My dad had the same medication that didn't help, it burns the stomach. Bc of the long wait my leg pain is even worst, due to the stress put onto it, even with the medication. I'm not mad, I just wish they prioritise better... And, maybe have alternative medicine if it didn't work before...
A massive hospital but well organized. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, even some of them don't speak English well but they still try their best to help. There are many aged people who help you with the directions, locations, and informations. That's great!
Worst hospital in Montreal very incompetent and stupid nurse no smile this chicane with a baby seen who did not want what The impatient touch with the children and heartless for nurse c a big zero that I give on the other hand The very nice and very human doctor
I've been waiting here for over 4 hours now, still haven't gotten to see a doctor regardless of there being no patients in the waiting room.
This is a hospital? And then ! We do not have the same definition of what a hospital is ..
It finds reasons for nurses to justify their incompetence (previous opinion). Lol.
Do not blame the government only.
When you do not know how to take a blood test, when you're going to see a patient, that's not what you're doing for this job. I'm crazy about your professional situation or whatever, you signed to be a nurse, there is no reason. Medicine is not what it was. Worst hospital, Ark.
WORST hospital of all my life and horror experience in emergencies. In addition, the height! It even happens that you arrive in good health and leave you handicapped! Bravo! Indeed, I went for a blood test that quickly turned into a nightmare: big arm hematoma, nerve damage and excruciating pain for months. Despite a duly completed and presented complaint, no improvement and no follow-up. Tip: NEVER put your feet on it.
Did blood test, took 3 hours for results.
Did CT scan, took 3hrs for results
Got my eyes checked... Waited 3 hrs for results. They said that everything was good except my blood... They wanted me to stay u til 8 am to see a neurologist.. ( I got to the hospital 4pm on the 24th...they told me the neurologist would be here for 8 am next day... And it's 12 pm the 25th and I still haven't heard a Word from them.. waste of time.
I am fully in the service of the hospital. As for the wait, we should think of going elsewhere than the emergency for small sores. To think about: No problem waiting for endless hours for boxing day, sleeping outside to get show tickets, ... $$$ !!! dong dong.
For me it is very far, parking costs a fortune if I had a doctor in Longueuil what happiness! There I am not treated but I have a small follow minimum, minimum when I arrive there needless to say my pressure is more often 200 past and therefore too far. So you understand the urgency to find a very good general practitioner in Longueuil is rare as the sea "" of Pope. problems not treated for 2 years it's serious not being able to get treatment !!!! I made a discovery while talking with my pharmacist and c is probably an esophagitis which makes me suffer this hard for a very long time I can not see a doctor and even less appointments I do not have a doctor I'm on the list for only 3 years ago an urgent need to find a doctor in Longueuil
I would have noted 2.5 say.
I was followed labas during all my pregnancy.
Medical secretary often very audacious!
For childbirth ... Exceptional, I loved the service but afterwards ... in the room of rest ... Nurse often very incompetent, not compassionate! Extremely difficult to live. My partner and I hated the service! I find it a shame. The most beautiful moment of our lives is turned into a very frustrating moment to live! We feel judged and poorly surrounded! I have seen exceptions but seriously ... Should see the human side of the nursing profession ... For that anyway! I do not think I will go back there one day, and it is extremely disappointing because I had a great time with the doctors and the midwife during the birth. The whole problem is really after ... Disgrace how we get treated!
A beautiful health service adrift ... More than 12 hours of waiting.
A disgusting hospital, poor in care.
Doctors just as incompetent of each other.
Inhumane nurses, who do not care about the general condition of the patient.
Medical errors, infernal blood tests (due to lack of skills), noise on the floors (from midnight to 6am) leaving no one to sleep, laughs and high voice between colleagues.
Prescription anti-pain (derived from morphine) to calm patients who require medical help. Nice way to stop hearing them! "Do we take it?" Wow, I do not even have the words.
Do not even know your name. They sigh when we call them.
If only they were competent.
BUT they are void. Scientifically and humanly speaking.
Here, they kill patients on low heat.
Wow it's incredible
Very very long wait time
I came To the hospital for an emergency case from 18:00 till 5:00 am next day i have never seen a doctor.
Wait wait wait
Omg here is canada guys
You must change this current system guys
to be avoided at all costs. if you need to be treated don't go to this place. No follow-up was done. I suddenly lost my sight and had to have an emergency brain check. The first time they never called me to give me an appointment date ... and then told me that they had simply lost my file, so they started the procedure over with another ophthalmologist ... once again I had to wait for someone to call me to give me an appointment date ... I see a specialist again to be told that all of my ERM requests are canceled because the ophthalmologist n did not complete the form well ... then the request remains simply canceled without the patient or doctor being aware ... it is an irm test for the urgent brain which had to be done within 3 -4 days ... a month later still no test ... later ... I repeat another test ... the ophthalmologist does not understand why I still have not had an ERM .. ... then he makes a request ... request which will be canceled again by this doctor did not sign the request ... urgently I have to have an ultrasound of the head. I show up at the waiting room .. but they don't call me .. I ask the receptionist why they don't call me ... they tell me to go back home and they will call me back to call me give another date .... which they never did. I had to change hospitals to be treated ... this place is dangerous for you .. do not go there .... if you are forced to go to this place present yourself in person to confirm that the request of the doctor was accepted .. and not canceled ... these people are not trusted .. go anywhere but not to this place .... you have time to die ...
passing 6 months later ... I still have no follow-up ... and still no diagnosis ... I have passed several tests without ever having a return from the hospital ... I always my vision problem ... vomiting and acute headache ... still no response from the hospital ...
Gastoscopy the doctor finds nothing while others .......
The coronary unit to avoid. No compassion of the nursing staff for the family! Impossible to visit a loved one.
No Wifi or Wifi Service in Patient rooms.
EXCELLENT Staff
you must FAX your prescription to make an appointment !!! welcome to 1990 !!
Horrible service. I tried to make an appointment for blood test and first waited for 50mins and no one picked up. At the second or third try a woman picked up the phone and made a bad attitude to people who don't speak French when I explained what was the exam/test about. She asked me to say it when I already told her I can't speak French, and she transferred my phone to someone else without a "sorry" when I told her I could spell the words if that helps. I don't think people who can't speak decent English and French should even pick up the phone call in this kind of places. If she has problem with her life deal with it, don't act like not knowing French is something unforgivable, especially when it's a country having both English and French as first language!
--- Of course I still didn't get to make my appointment on schedule. Really, can't believe it.
Waited 14 hrs in isolation. I understand er can be long. No distancing in isolation room, babies,kids,elderly...
And to top it off had to argue to get antibiotics.and they lost my covid test.
Awesome. Just awesome.
Thank you very much.
The worst hospital in North America period! !!!!!!!!
Hopital Maisonneuve Rosemont is an excellent hospital by the quality of all its empoyes I know because this hospital is my employer depuit now almost 13 years
I go there to see my pediatrician and she is very nice when I have appointments
very bad service,
during the pregnancy monitoring, for exam appointments, 1 out of 5 could be done normally, very bad management and intimidating attitude of their center of appointment!
Finally, we changed to another one.
First of all i respect everyone who works in healthcare and for all the hard work they do. Went there for surgery. Took all my info, changed into gown, stuck a needle in me, and waited for hours to have surgery get cancelled last minute. When i hit the emergency button to get a nurses attention it took 15 min got a response. Imagine if it was a real emergency. Unfortunately my doctor only works from there so have no choice but to deal with these ppl again.
The nurse was completely cold and unsympathetic, she was not willing to attend to me because I spoke only English, and she told me in English that she does not speak English only French, she understood me and responded to me yet she says she could not speak english,my son who had a temperature over 103 was sent back out to wait for another nurse
Best experience competent and friendly staff childbirth service, neonatal and clinic station
Hello.....
according to a recent visit to the hospital for a coronary angiography all the doctor and nurse staff are remarkable, competent, warm and attentive. big thanks for being treated with human love.
Dumbest hospital ever go they're on Wednesday at the ER with my right hand and wrist swollen to a whole different level nurse doesn't even bother to look touch it or ask me any specific questions at all,it tells me to come back Thursday at 9:40AM at their clinic. I go there on Thursday they've lost electricity which I don't blame them they tell me to give them my cell number and say they will call me I waited till 2 pm nothing I go back there,Their electricity is back and the secretary is sitting there doing nothing saying there no place for today anymore yet the waiting room was empty didn't even bother calling me to let me know and tells me only place she has is Monday I just said forget it! I ended up going to St Mary hospital I have broken wrist and thumb bone and needed a cast but according to rosemont fine nurse Ice and Tylenol would of worked complete morons!
I gave birth there and it was the worst experience of all my life I pushed 2 hours of time so that it realize that I was killing my baby every time because it was wrong to place for so push finely into cesarean section
I don t understand all the negative reviews, i had an electric saw accident and 2 months worth of followups for my injury and at every step - from reception to emergency to plastic surgeon absolutely everyone i talked to or interacted with was extremely helpful. All seemed up beat and happy to help.
Honestly they made a traumatic experience as painless as is humanly possible. A+++
10 hours of waiting overnight. Had to come back for testing the next day waiting to see the doc for my results and after that wait hours to see a specialist. Ultra uncomfortable chairs after 30 min you no longer feel your buttock bones.
practically 12 hours for a result danalise urine for my girlfriend that had to do a severe urinary tract infection is anything like a lambineux gain and it's not the first time it arrives! poor service ! money spend for nothing and the doctor sleeps on the job and is awake just for the ambulance!
Done 12 I wait ... The world can ben die here before seeing a doctor .. Poor ...
I presented for stomach pain and he immediately took care of my liver attack and waited for gallbladder surgery
I sent all the documents requested to put me on the waiting list but it is so disorganize that after 8 months I learn that I am not even on the list! Horrible!
to all the people who pity on the service of health ... that it is with HMR or elsewhere you cry on our job whereas one tears, yes as in ALL the jobs there are of the world which do not do their job but stop lashing out at us behind your screen, you do not know the working conditions of ALL the employees of the hospital ... the patients too can be very naughty and be patronizing by nature.
Unimaginable that in 2018 we will make pregnant women and newborns wait 4 hours for routine visits.
Worst experience of my life and that of my spouse. The place is dilapidated and the staff completely dehumanized. The worst hospital in Montreal from my point of view!
