They are very nice to talk to about what you need done on your property's outside progets.
they waited until the day of my fence installation to come mark, and didn't mark everything they were supposed to! now i have two days' wages down the drain because they have to reschedule. unbelievable.
Fantastic customer service! Everyone should place that call to 811 before you dig! It's a free service that's very important to utilize!
We called diggers hotline, guy comes out to mark what needed marking, I was not there, one of my employees calls me to get clarification and puts the guy on the phone, as I am talking he is motioning with his hand for me to hurry up, obviously I don t see this however my staff was standing there waiting to get her phone back. UNPROFESSIONAL! RUDE! YOU ARE A JERK AND SHOULD BE FIRED! Way to represent your employer!
Customer service is horrible.......They were requested by a contractor to mark lines for a large project....the gas line was totally missed. Great work!
I submitted a ticket 7/31 for work to start today at 6am on 8/10. As of 7:30am, there are no markings. Diggers advised that I need to call all the utilities myself now. Why does this (legally mandated) hotline exist if I end up having to call the utilities myself, and now under urgent circumstances!? If I d know 11 days ago that this would happen, I would have made the calls 11 days ago, not at 7am day-of! I am so angry!
I have called them 4 times to get my yard marked. It has been over 10 days and nothing ever gets done. I called them back again and they tell me they are the middle person and I need to call each one of my utility companies. What a mess!
Stephanie was very pleasant and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I appreciated her patience.
I work in several states. There online site is about the worst I've encountered. Luckily I don't work in Wisconsin much so good luck to you all that have to use it.
Called diggers hot line to verify where the power lines for my flag pole are located . They came to the house after the wife was on the phone with them three times and online for over 30 minutes . They came out in 3 day's which is good . They said they can't mark those due to they are personal lines from the house . They have that wonderful commercial where the kids are in the back yard playing and dad is about dig and then they say call before you dig except they won't mark lines coming out of the house for like a flag pole . He says he will get in trouble for marking those . I explained i might get dead for him not marking them . He said dig carefully and left total waste of time and resources. Gave them one star was my lowest option.
I was having a soil test being done and diggers hotline was notified to come mark. A young man showed up and noticed the overhead electrical and asked where the gas meter was. He didn't notice the huge propane tank on the property and this had to be pointed out to him that I'm not on city gas. He left without marking anything. Consequently, my soil tester hit the phone, cable and irrigation water line and tore it up because the diggers hotline guy didn't bother marking the cable or phone. Now I have wires sticking out of the ground and had to have my cable re connected and my irrigation system is no longer functional. The guy that came to my property was useless and could have cared less even though he was told by my soil tester to evaluate 300 feet around my home. He didn't even bother marking anything.
They are the nicest people and always so helpful. I always hope to get Brittany and Deserae
Tom was exceptional, and I got my planning all done. He was easy to work with, friendly, and made the whole experience very easy. My plot will be marked in three days as promoted.
They called me after I opened up a ticket and came the day they said.
They came and dug here yesterday cut a line knew they cut something was told they must have cut somerhing 4 ppl with out tv internet and they just left what kind of company is that they told the neighbor to call the company to fix it there mistake they should fix it not our tv provider
Always be careful whenever you're digging I've had the not locate to gas lines a fiber optic line all of a Citywide telecommunication tube or left on labeled make sure you are either digging with good knowledge of the area always keep your ticket number so that when you had something and they cleared you you can put it back on Diggers Hotline you couldn't file an insurance claim with USL who are the people that locate for the services
Took 10 days after calling to show up . And then marked the wrong property. Even managed to mark a underground electric line ( that doesn't exist) 10 feet from hyline wire .
Very unpleasant experience trying to work with the representative on the phone.
I've called in utility locates for several different States and this Diggers Hotline has the worst UI I've ever been forced to work with. Clunky, unintuitive, and overall just not user-friendly and poorly designed.
no show scheduled online and received response by email, project starts today and there are no flags gave 1 weeks notice.
