I really only spent about 6 hours here, due to a flight cancellation. I was here from about 2am to 7:30am, and really just wanted to get a few hours sleep. Clean, spacious room, with, what probably was, a cool balcony, but otherwise, no real sense of the hotel.

Away from the craziness of downtown with a lovely view of the water. Shops and marina are close by and great restaurants, including a super Sunday brunch.

The overall quality is still very good. Unfortunately, I haven't made any surprises for birthday people. For a five-star hotel, I am a little disappointed.

Nice hotel outside of the city with a slightly different feel to the rest of Hong Kong. They offer themed rooms which is great for a kids bday celebration. Nice playroom but only offer 1 hour free session per day. Buffet is good but can get very busy so book early during peak periods. Pool is nice with outdoor water play area. The hotel grounds and gardens are well kept and nice to walk around!
The attitude of the service staff is good! The restaurant is a little worse!
A very nice experience at Gold Coast Hotel and surrounding areas, including the beaches, many restaurants, parks, pool and in/outdoor playgrounds for the kids, and adults alike. Staff and services were excellent; rooms sizeable, clean and nice, and transportation plenty.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a drive from the airport but well worth it... beautiful gardens... clean lovely rooms... great breakfast bar with a lovely assortment of fruits, meats, and other foods to choose from...
The best hotel in new territories in HK, large and luxurious decoration, best harbour view, and have a lot of playgrounds and facilities for children, and right next to beach which is managed by HK gov.
