This is a reliable venue for beekeeping supplies as well as a large quirky nursery with a wide range of plants and garden supplies. It's a goodd idea to combinee these two concerns and the staff are uniformly well versed in their products and attentive.

Thank you for the help in selecting a new bee suit. The old one needed to go. I'm glad you showed be the ventilated one. This will work well in Arizona where I live. My job takes me to Southern California most of the time so I'm looking forward to picking up more supplies from you in the future.
Cheers !

The customer service is OUTSTANDING! I recommend The Valley Hive for any and all of your bee keeping needs. Both the staff and bee keepers take the time to answer questions and share knowledge on any and all your bee keeping needs. Having The Valley Hive as a resource allows me to be the best bee keeper I can be; from having the tools I need to having a bee keeper come out to inspect my hive with me so that I can rest assured that I have a strong, healthy and happy hive. The gift shop and nursery are an added bonus to support the pollinators and hook my family and friends on all things bee.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgable. As a noob beekeeper, I always felt comfortable asking any questions. They get that this is an intimidating hobby to get into and treat their customers with respect and genuine helpfulness.

Looking to start my own backyard bee keeping adventure this summer so I thought I d pop into my local honey farm and see what they had to offer for equipment and knowledge.
A nice woman at the front desk greeted me as a walked in. I expired the different bee products they had for sale, everything from bee lip balm and lotion to pounds and pounds of organic honey.
The lady and I talked about bee keeping for about 25 minutes and she answered all of my questions throughly. I then bought a little sample pack of honeys to try later.
Everything was incredible and I ll definitely bee back to buy my equipment!

Our family learned a lot about bees, and got to taste so many different honeys! Our daughter was really excited about the observation hive! Fun, educational and very tasty. Hooray for bees!

A great local place for natural, organic honey. The Hive now has expanded into a larger location after taking over an ailing nursery. They offer classes in beekeeping as well as selling native plants, bee attracting plants, and of course honey. Staff is fairly friendly. Prices are a little high, but you are getting local natural honey rather than commercial mass produced products.

Danny and Shannon are AMAZING!!!!!!!! They blew me away with their kindness and eagerness to help! I had a project that required a bit more attention to detail (an edible container garden as a gift to a sick family member since I live long distance). I emailed ten different nurseries in the area and got no other responses. Not only did Danny respond but he and Shannon worked with me back and forth on different options and suggested ones that were more affordable instead of trying to upsell. These guys are doing business right!! Please support their business. I know I will with any other garden needs in the future.

They had their grand opening in their new location today. Extensive supply of beekeeping equipment and hives with a living hive inside to view. Tons of bee products including lots of types of honey and beeswax candles.

We had a very large hive in a tree by our parkway. It was discovered 3 weeks ago I should have called then. So I paid more than quoted but was given the price before the work started when the tech arrived. Fast efficient and hopefully in a week the residual bees will be gone. We could have done this cheaper but the bees would have been killed and that is not what we wanted. Great service

I m in love with this place. Greeted right away. Shared their knowledge with my children and myself. Offered samples of honey. Not pushy about selling their product. Just passionate about bees and honey. Walked out with a big jar of wildflower honey after hearing all the benefits of it. This is my happy place. My children also loved exploring the nursery. Very beautiful and cathartic. Wish I could come here every day. I wish nothing but the best for this business. I ll be back soon.

Knowledgeable friendly staff. They took their time explaining the bees and what they do. They have hive kits, bee suits, bees, and honey for sale. The bees are used to pollinate different fuitsf and vegetables, so the honey has different flavors. They really love what they do.
