Yesterday, I purchased a bag of their dumplings and was amazed at the powerful punch of incredible flavour my taste buds experienced! As a car guy, the only way I can compare is, these dumplings are the Ferrari and all others are a Pinto. Definitely sold on the quality and taste!
Picked up the carnivore pack. The Ginger dumpling was a beautiful experience, 10/10. My personal favourite. The Mrs really like the traditional pork. Super easy to cook, overall a great experience!
These dumplings were quite good. I got the chicken variety and the ginger beef. I have to admit, I hated the lemongrass chicken. There was way too much fish sauce for me, but that's just a personal preference. I wish you could buy an entire bag of the butter chicken dumplings.
The limited edition salmon dumplings are to die for.
Would eat the entire bag myself. And then have them for my next meal too.
Love these dumplings! Herbivore variety is my fave, but I liked the chicken ones too, which, I think, were limited variety at some point. They are quick to make and taste wonderful, which saves me during busy times.
I used to think having premium ingredients is not a big thing, but these are the only dumplings that my allergy prone family members can eat and not have a reaction to.
Best dumplings ever! No fillers and cooked exactly as instructions. Flavour of mushrooms amazing and not a processed taste commonly found. I will try them all!
Bought a package for the first time, cost me $14 I believe, and was somewhat disappointed to find there was only 10 dumplings in the bag. I'd have thought you'd get more for $14 but figured they must be really good for that cost. The cooking instructions aren't on the outside of the bag, so I was surprised when I got home that the instructions weren't as simple as boiling them. The instructions are somewhat complicated if you don't own a bamboo steamer. They didn't turn out well with their pan-fry method because you still have to steam them in a frying pan at the end and hope for the best. The filling flavours were good but the dumplings themselves weren't worth the cost. The pork ones had some cartridge bits or something in them. They're good, but definitely not worth over a dollar per dumpling.
I have tried these dumplings and they are delicious! The flavours are great. You can tell they are using quality ingredients and that they put a lot of time and effort in producing a quality product. It is great to see a local food company with a delicious product! Highly recommend you check them out. I love that there are more and more places to buy them!
For the price, I was pretty disappointed when I opened the frozen bag of dumplings to find them clumped together impossible to separate with thawing/microwaving. I tore them all apart and tried to then cook them. Flavour is there but I will not be wasting $15 on these again.
