Techforce Personnel Review

Absolutely great and responsive personnel! Techforce truly had helped me start from scratch. I had no any prior experience with mining nor so with the hospitality industry but you gave me this very rare opportunity to work FIFO. I really appreciate the value of working on a swing mode with your company, not to mention better benefits compared to what I was getting from my previous jobs.

Kodus to you guys who believed in our capability as well as for looking after ourselves in terms of career choice and progression. May you sustain the company's thrust to mould and harness every skill and potential an individual worker is capable of.

I went to the Grand Recruitment day around the 27th of October 2020. As someone who has never attended such a thing and has never been involved with any mine work I had no idea of what to expect. Everyone in Techforce was so welcoming and kind, tea and coffee was provided and cakes to say thank you at the end. As much as the day was rather long and there was a lot of powerpoint displays and discussion the employees at Techforce made it entertaining and tried to include us and excite us for the work as much as they could! Even drawing a raffle at the end which is very generous. I felt like I learnt so much from this day and took home a better understanding of what working on a mine is like and what to expect.

Techforce sounds nice from far but in reality it is far from nice!

I was working in recruitment for 2 years but I was a recruiter for local jobs in hospitality, administration and utility.
However I changed my previous job and put myself in to the risk and started working with them from mid of Nov 2020 as they promised to train me properly for my new role with 3 months probation!
In my interview session I told them I don t have a technical recruitment background and they advised there would not be any problems as long as it is employment consultant experience!

There are some issues that I need to raise them up here for others information.

- They did not have a proper type of training,they stated it will be some training by senior staffs but in reality it did not happen at all the time as the staff were busy!

- If you asked questions from staff they behaved very weird and resist to answer you or they keep themselves busy! all the time instead of giving feedback to you they gave feedback to senior managers and when you asked for a constructive feedback they prevent to give you further information and just mocking and teasing you!!

- They are such a zero tolerance company that there is no second chance for you!

- They are such a prejudice bunch of people that behave very snobby and don t treat warmly and with kindness specially with new staffs and underestimating you is part of their profession.

- When I sent emails to them for reports, they never get back to me or answer my emails!

I am working for several years in different companies whether overseas or here in Australia. And have never experienced such an indifferent attitude from any employers here before!

They forced me to leave their office without notice or convincing reason exactly near to the Christmas time after only 5 weeks (they treat me like a criminal and even did not let me to go back to my desk and collect my stuff!
When I left, I emailed the senior managers and they just respond you should tell us before but how come is possible to report when they are not in the office or they are not answering your emails.

Great agency ( Hospitality and Catering Department, FIFO) , professional , supportive and responsive .Competitive weekly pay rates , continuous work available. Highly recommended company to work for.

Techforce has not only opened my pathway for mining but it has also helped me understand all the different avenues i could pursue. Anytime i needed anything they were responsive. Anyone who wants a foot in the door or on going work i highly recommend techforce. Shoutout to Marlene and Heather Robinson for making my life easier!
