I recently purchased a new Tacoma from Hometown Toyota. I had shopped around and from what I could gather Hometown had the best deal. There is nothing exciting about spending that much money but the experience I had with them was great. Thomas was my sales rep and he made the process smooth. I never felt pressured and I got the deal I wanted. If you re in the market for a new Toyota, this place should be your first stop

I had other business than a repair or purchase a vehicle, but everyone seemed friendly, helpful and courteous. New modem facility with old time attention to the customer.

About to close on my 3rd truck from steve' s and oh boy did I wish I had read these reviews beforehand. Where to start? My sales guy didn't listen to a damn thing I said, then lied to me about several things throughout the sale and refused or put off showing me different things I had requested like loan amortization tables and other quoted interest rates.

My numbers that we had discussed and agreed on verbally changed when written to paper and the worst part of all is once it was brought to the attention of the sales manager he didn't care... didn't care that his salesman lied and didn't care about keeping me as a customer, he simply said he would do nothing and offered nothing more than to refund money down and return my trade. Absolutely shameless about lying to your face about pricing and loan rates and has no problem changing numbers or going back on verbal agreements until it's you trying to hold them accountable.

Absolutely despicable, and easily the WORST car buying experience I have ever had.

Worked with Camron from Hometown Toyota in Ontario,OR. Talked to him over the phone ahead of time and told him what kind of car we were looking for and when we would be in to look. He was prepared, ready, and waiting for us with cars to test drive. He brought an honest intention and sound integrity. He made this purchase very easy, and quick for us! Would highly recommend seeing Camron when your ready to buy your next vehicle!

I called Corey and told hiam what I was after and he exactly what I wanted. The process was easy and I will from now on use Hometown Toyota and Corey when I need a vehicle.

I've had my car serviced at a few Toyota dealers in a few different states, but I like this one the most. The people hear are very friendly and don't pressure you into things, options or services you don't want or need. Also, they are really good at giving straightforward answers to questions about financing and limitations on warantees, etc.

GREAT SERVICE. Called around 1:30 pm ( Oct 24) to see if I could get my 2015 Prius in for a 20,000 mile service (on our way home to Nevada, Iowa) they said to bring it right ln. Got there 2:00 pm Mike the service mgr took it right in and had it back out my 3:00 pm. ( now that services) Thank's Mike and your service tech. Five Stars

I was prepared to wait an hour for my 75,000 mile maintenance, but they were done in about a half hour. They were prompt in getting me signed in and prompt in getting me out. And they did a great washing and drying of my car, which was very dirty! Thank you for great service!

We have bought 9 cars from this dealership. We loved our salesman and never had to haggle on the price. The last car we bought was for our son in June. We paid top dollar for a "excellent condition, perfect motor" BMW. Less than a month later the engine light starts coming on. $2500 later we find out that Steve's added non BMW fluids to the engine which caused major issues and there were other issues before we bought it that were not fixed. Our salesman wanted to make it right but apparently Paul (the VP of the company) doesn't feel keeping us as customers is the right thing to do. He offered us almost 1/2 of what we paid for the car as a trade in amount. What a joke. I guess 9 cars and loyalty don't mean much to a VP of the dealership.

We were very happy with our car shopping experience at Steve s Home Town. We were greeted quickly and a salesman helped us find just what we were looking for. They were busy but made sure to make us feel welcome and appreciated. We would highly recommend Steve s Home Town Toyota.

Salesmen will misled you on the condition of used vehicles. Do not buy from them. I bought a truck and was told it was road ready I ve got lose tie rod ends and ball joints, I ve got contaminated brakes and drums. Lose and sagging engine and transmission mounts. My truck is not safe to drive after receiving it from this dealer ship though their inspection states otherwise and am looking at $4600 in repairs before I can safely use it for its purpose.

Went to see a 2010 Toyota Prius model 4. Went inside to see the car and was brought out to it. The car wasn't washed and there was a alot of dirt on the inside, in the back there was even a PS4 disk just laying there. The car was priced at 10k with 120000 miles when kbb priced the highest quality at 9500. The car had been through an accident and never repaired, both bumpers were broke and had multiple chips in the paint. The person that we talked to when we declined our offer was rude when we gave him prices of cars in better condition but abit farther away he scoffed at us and said that he doubted they were good. When we left he said "Have fun driving to Oregon" and didn't shake our hand or act kind at all. Don't go here if you want to be treated with respect. The person we talked to was named Micheal Taylor. He was also slobbily kept with a dirty hat that he didn't take off.

I came in to look at cars and ran into Corey. He was nice and respectful and was able to help me find the car that works for me. I will for sure come back.

Jonathan helped us look at all of our options and ultimately find our perfect car. We really feel like we got a great car at a great deal!

Very dishonest. Won't take responsibility for their mistakes. I received my truck back in worse condition then I revived it in. Even when I showed them the stament they gave me regarding everything they had done they denied the service. Also tried to charge me $1500 for a job that cost me $100 in parts to fix.

Went in for regular maintenance. Very friendly staff. I was given a loaner car so I could go home while they worked on mine.

I recently received and advertisment in the mail from these guys wanting me to trade in our car. It even gave an amount they would be willing to pay "and maybe even more". I called first to see what the deal was and was told that they couldn't give exact appraisals, but they weren't interested in wasting people's time, and that the ad was close depending on vehicle conditions. I drove an hour to the car lot, gave them my vehicle for appraisal and explained I was interested in one of two vehicles we found, but wanted to know what the trade in was for my vehicle. I was told they wouldn't give that until I started a deal on one of the vehicles. I explained I was waiting for my wife to get off work in a few minutes so I could ask which she preferred, but wasn't playing number games. WHAT IS THE VALUE OF MY TRADE IN? They have me back my keys and said they couldn't give it to me until we started the deal. I bought my wife a brand new truck that evening at Kendall in Nampa. No fuss, no problem. I will never be back to this place again.

Me and my wife went in just to look and I got to tell you we ran into a guy named Cameron and I must tell you this young man has it all together every bit of the information I needed to know about the car was available to him and he looked it up immediately very knowledgeable young man good-looking and just seems to have everything on the ball one day you'll be running this place if not owning it I'm telling you this kid is one in a million congratulations to whoever hired him on the best decision you ever made

Was able to make deal over the phone with. Salesman Alan was a great communicator and went out of his way to secure a way to load my motorcycle in the back of the truck. He and another salesman helped me use the ramps to get the bike loaded . I live over an hour a way from Ontario and had no other way to retrieve the new truck. The salesman, Teagan Shipley, was very pleasant, and though I was buying a car that is not one that Toyota dealers in this area sell a lot, he seemed pretty knowledgeable about the car, and was eager to make sure I understood the features.

I went in and looked at and purchased a Tundra from Corey. He was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

They emailed me about a recall on my car. I took it in they did the recall and let me know what they saw that will need addressed the next time like filters, tires and so on. I always have great service they even washed my car.

I'm not one to go out of my way to post reviews unless they are worthy and what I mean by worthy is folks or establishments going above and beyond my expectations. True customer service is a lost art. Response time, resolution, and efficiency towards building a deeper customer relationship is hard to find, but Mr. Bever proved me wrong. I searched the USA for a Toyota Tacoma. Quite honestly, I would prefer to buy from a local establishment for the ease of business and to support my local community. However, I was contacted by Michael Bever from Steve's Hometown Toyota. He made this transaction painless, timely, and was very competitive. Asked to not have an extended warranty put on my car purchase and still somehow ended up with one. Requested it to be canceled by filling out all the paperwork and emailing it to them. After numerous follow up emails to see if they processed it I have received no response. By far the worst car service/sales experience I've ever received.

I don't like to go anywhere else, the sales reps are super polite, and I never feel pushed into buying a car. My KIA Rio was about to give up the ghost and I needed something with better gas mileage, my husband travels an hour and a half to and from work five days a week, so I asked about a 2008 Toyota Prius, got an instant text message back from the sales rep, Tanner, is awesome by the way. Asked to come in on Saturday to have a test drive, fell instantly in love especially with the gas mileage being so high. What was the best about this was buying it outright, and the sales rep was so polite and nice to talk to. - Brianne
