I would give this company no stars if that was an option. They were the worst company I have ever rented from. They were rude and completely unprofessional. Me and my son's dad originally rented from Real Estate Market Place before the property sold and HNR took over. Due to an incident with our neighbors threatening me with a gun while our son was upstairs asleep we choose to move as soon as we were able to. We gave a proper notice and did everything that needed to be done. We moved out in October 2012. In April of 2017, (over 4 years later) I received a notice from credit karma that HNR reported to the credit bureau that we owe them around $1,100. We were never informed of any balance being owed. We never received any calls, mail, or emails. My phone number was the same up until 2017. My email has been the same since high school. I have always used my parents address as my mailing address. They will say you owe money but will not provide the proof to show why and for what you owe. To wait over 4 years and then report a so called debt to our credit reports is just wrong. I would highly suggest you look elsewhere if you need to rent a place. HNR is not the company you want to lease from!!!

Do not rent from the company. They are very dishonest, and will attempt to rip you off upon your move out. When I submitted work orders for issues, they failed to follow through and the charged me for the same issues that I reported. Their properties are not properly kept, and some have rodent infestations. Their customer service is horrible, and they are very rude people. I left the house in a much better condition than what I found it in, but they claimed that I damaged things. I have the photos to prove it, and a check list of issues. Don't do it.

They will rent to you but you are going to pay a higher deposit if you have bad credit. They do not respond to calls when you have an emergency. So be prepared to pay for the the repairs.

They don't care about their properties nor do they do maintenance request

DO NOT TRY TO RENT FROM THIS MAN! Took him almost a week to run our credit no dings to our reports, we have credit karma and get notifications every time someone checks our credit, but wanted to charge us a double deposit for having bad credit we were then able to talk our selves out of the double deposit as we have fairly good credit now. We signed the lease and he calls the girl that is processing our paper work and tells her to prorate us for the month of March even though the lease says move in date April 1, 2020. He insisted that we move in today and when we told him we wanted to move in on the 1st he said well you don t have to rent it though us

The walls Were dirty, all of the blinds were ripped off the windows, and the grass was over grown, when we asked if he would fix this issue he told us to mark it down.

THIS IS THE WORST REALTY COMPANY EVER they are rude disrespectful money hungry people if I could rate them negative I would I stayed at a property on charisse st and it was the worst we had nice I went without a fridge for weeks the landlord and his minions where coming into my home while I was ayaw they filed a civil suit on me and my little sister who also lived at the residence these people will do anything for money and DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WHO THEY TAKE FROM im finally free to warn people about these slumlords I hope this helps anyone who is thinking of going here they help you get into the property and then you suffer the whole time because they want money for everything I also went without air in the summer for a while due to these disgusting people

Worst property management I ve ever dealt with. Between my wife and I we have a combined household of 5-7 at a time, so when the plumbing issues come it means 10,000 trips to the public restroom. I ve been dealing with HNR for 2 years and countless lost work orders and continuous lies. When the air conditioning stops it means we have to spend unnecessary money on fans to somewhat bring relief. Never fails... everything that goes wrong happens on the weekends when nobody is in the office like they claim and leave us with no emergency contact number. Then when you call to tell them you are dealing with black mold they give you a complete runaround. Waited months to get it repaired and all they did was send out a handyman who makes a list of everything that s wrong and then only get granted minimum cheap repairs that I could have done myself and still no repair of the black mold. I m not looking for a band-Aid repair, lets get to the root of the problem because sorry bleach doesn t work. I don t know if anyone has had a good experience with them but I didn t. Oh and I also can t forget getting yelled at over the phone by the male owner of the property Management because he s tired of receiving calls from me because I keep checking the status of my repairs, sorry but not sorry... this effects the health of my family. How y all are in business I have no idea.

The worst realtor there is don't trust this man!! Scam artist to the fullest I rented from them a couple years ago I still have all my paperwork and pictures before and after move in I will let it be known about this place every time and anytime they are mentioned!!

They need to do preventative maintenance and keep their houses in better shape.

Whatever you do never rent from this place!!!!! Worst landlord experience you will ever have. Find a different company. They are very irresponsible, don t fix anything and can t keep track of rent payments. Do not rent from them

As many others using this company, if I could rate a negatively I would. They are never open on weekends, rent is past due on the third. Don't ever attempt to use the drop box to pay rent on the weekend, they will loose that payment for sure. The sad part is that loosing or not tracking payments is a minor issue of the problems you will face with this company. Let us attempt to tell you the horror story that is HNR.
1. We went through the home and completed our inspection and found drainage problems with the house. They sent the same repair guy over and over and over again. Even after we had the city come and check the pipes and found the problem they still have not fixed the issue.
2. Because the pipes and drainage was so bad the house grew mold under it and had to be removed. I tell you the struggle was real getting these slow none English speaking twats to do anything about it. If my roomate had not pregnant I don't think they would have done anything.
3. The move out process was among the worst experience of my life. 3 days to complete a move out inspection, that a lie. You will forced to keep utilities on until they find a new resident. They ripped up my notice and threw it on the floor because feb only has 28 days. I paid rent on the first and have them my notice I would be out on the 28th. It did not satisfy their 30 day written notice.
4. The staff and their house of operation. Don't expect the staff to be to work on time. Generally don't expect them to do much work at all. An entire year walking in to file work order and pay rent and they still ask me what address I'm staying at.
5. Finally, the worst part is the managing owner. The biggest piece of undigested fecal matter the world has ever produced. Words just can't describe how awful he is. But if I could choose a death for this man it resembles that of Hector at the hand of Achilles. Body drug around the city and all.

Do yourself a favor and go anywhere eles. Live in a box if you have to, but don't go here.

I've already said my piece to this man. I have to say however, the most disgusting thing about this man is that he wears the uniform that I once proudly wore!

Renters beware!!!! This place is a scam. Totally unprofessional. I fell in love with a property they had and the lady at the front desk lead me on for two weeks and gave me the run around after I payed the application fee and then rented the house from under my feet when I had the whole deposit and first months rent the day I first went to the realtor. All she had to say was that they did not want to rent it to me and my family instead of giving me the runaround. I drove by the house a week later and another family was living there.

FYI: Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) fined Stephen Owofade and his company for real estate agent/broker practices without having a real estate agent/broker license.

I would go into how unethical and uneducated this man is however the above FACT is enough.

If I could give this place no star I would! I was new to the state and this company was our 1st. Renters company. After 1 year of renting with then we decided to buy my husband's Sgt. house and use them as a realtor. The Owner of this company said we couldn't use 1 realtor it HAS to be 1 for us and 1 for my husband's Sgt so he hired his wife to do it. (Which was a lie you can only use 1). But ok that's fine. Then he tried to charge us 12% for his and his wife services. At that point we told him he needed to lower the interest or we wouldn't used him, he said he couldn't so we dropped him as our realtor and went to another one. Because we did this he went and put a for sale sign on the Sgt. Lawn without her permission. And then lie about our renters history saying that we were late 4 months out of our 1 year contract.
Also made up $1800.00 worth of damage to a 4 town house on top of our $750 deposit.
He took pictures of another house and said it was ours. How do I know this:
1- He said we left trash behind and took pictures of a Barbie and mermaid sip cups left in the dishwasher. My baby was 2 months old and it was a BOY!
2- said we never change the air filter and took pictures of an air filter that was 14*20. The air filter right size it's 16*20 I know because I was the one changing it every month.
3- Said we never change the battery on the smoker alarm. We only used rechargable batteries so I can guarantee if you go there that's what you would find.
4- said we never cleaned the floor behind the refrigerator showing a white tile floor. Our was an ugly brown Vinyl floor.
5- took 5 different picture of a dirty oven each one of them with different marks of burned spots on it
And so does continue with his fictional charges.
So if you value your credit don't EVER rent or buy from this company.

This is absolutely the worst company ever Do not rent from them they will set you up try to take your money and do anything to get money and bleed u dry i'm tired of paying thousands of dollars and they loosing my payment and trying to make me pay for something that i have already paid for I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEY WILL TAKE YOUR HOME FROM YOU AND NOT CARE AND THEY WILL WONT YOU MONEY THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY FOR NO REASON PLEASE DON'T RENT FROM THEM

They don't handle repairs in a timely manner and the owner is very unprofessional .

Worst rental agency ever! Had a fridge go out on their property, it took 4 months for them to replace it! Had a pipe burst and it took a week to come fix. Water heater went out, took 2 weeks to come fix in the dead winter we had no hot water

Google should add a zero star option just for this company. Toilet and sink have been unusable for months and they will not return calls or emails. Stay away!!!

Signed a lease and went to move in and the place was filthy and carpet nasty and covered in roaches.

When I looked at this house there was a few things wrong with the property. The house was not clean there was no stove. when I went back to the office and told them about it they said they would have it clean before I move in and they would have a stove there before I moved in so when I received a call saying I was approved they charged me double deposit without checking my credit after being told that it was my credit. when myself and the movers came to the property there was still no stove and nobody came to clean the house. Once my power was turned on I realize that the air condition did not turn on he told me to stop calling his phone. next I had put all my food in the refrigerator enough for me to notice the refrigerator or wires were cut the next morning and all my food. My three kids and I were forced to stay in a hotel room because we did not have a working refrigerator not a stove and the AC didn't work. We had no choice but to stay because he wouldn't give me my $1600 deposit back so I could find another place and put my things in storage. Then I noticed the toilets constantly ran. Leaks under the sink. None of the plugs in the kitchen work nor does the kitchen light work. I made a complaint with the city. They opened a case. He sent a plumber out to stop the leaks and running toilets. This was just last week. I applied to get help through the help center with rent. He filled out the paperwork wrong and told me he wasn't going to fix it until I paid him $1000 in late fees. I called his office . He yelled at me and told me I needed to move out and he is not going to correct the form and I needed to tell that to the judge and to stop calling his office. I went up there and asked him why he said that and hung up in my face and he said because he changed his mind and closed his window.

Never go here, ever I mean being homeless is better, they will try to make you pay for everything once you leave ,you better have videos

They managed my property and did not take care of anything. They treated tenants horribly charged tenants more for rent then they reported to me, charged fees they did not return to tenants and kept for themselves and let my property deteriorate so much. They also refuse to give me any information or copies of leases etc. these people will rip you off and not do anything. They are a scam!

The worst, I have ever rented from. They do not come fix anything, but expect you to pay rent on time every month. They don t even keep the yard mowed. Grass be taller then a damn jungle. They service is horrible and they try to over charge you every month. I keep all receipts cause you can not trust them at all.
