TWO failed attempts to deliver my washer and dyer. The first time they couldn't install it even though we booked an install. The second time they lost our appliances and called us at 6 am to tell us they lost them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I will never again order from home Depot they use Home Delivery of America as the delivery service. I ordered a refrigerator June1,2020 iteam was backorder and I waited till August 29 which was my delivery date. The delivery person came measured the entrance door and apartment door before removing refrigerator out of truck. They even told my mom she just has to move a table that may be in the way which she did. They took the refrigerator out the truck and was coming in the building with it my mom can hear them from the hallway. My mom tells my dad they coming up he said no they are Walking back to the truck. My mom ask from window what happened the guy said we can't deliver we taking it back no explanation nothing. I had there number so I called he said the door was 29 1/2 inches and the refrigerator is 30. Mind you that door way is 34 1/4 wide. They did not want to walk up the 5 steps to put in elevator. When I called online customer care they called the delivery and the delivery said we can re- delivere but we will not take it upstairs. After over 7hrs of trying to find a different refrigerator and the call center calling the delivery people many times with Everytime a different answer they process the refund Today at 4:36 after us being on the phone with them so it can't be re-delivered because once process they can't do anything. I waited 2 months and if I want it although they have it in there wearhouse I will have to wait till the end of November. The guy said not even the supervisor or GM can help me. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Please don't order from home Depot because If this is the kind of people they use. I should have ordered from Lowe's were I got a 33 inche stove delivered with no problem I guess lesson learned.
On hold for over an hour. They could not find my stove and asked that I call back. I called back and was on hold for an hour and a half. All in the same day!!!! This company caused me to have a nervous break down on the street of New York. I was on my lunch break when I received a call that my order had been canceled. I had been waiting for my delivery date for over a month and had several contractors lined up to install the rest of our kitchen the day directly following our delivery. I had also given my employer the standard week notice of time off, just to receive this delivery because they were unavailable on a weekend. I received no information as to why my order was canceled. They did not have the stove I ordered in stock. AFTER A MONTH OF WAITING????? I called Home Depot and they were no help either. Home Depot just waited on the phone for over an hour for Home Delivery America to answer their phones!!! Then, they give me a new delivery date 3 weeks out!!!! How is this Legal? Someone sue them please! I just don't have the time or money!!!
This was the worst delivery company I ve had to work with. They are rude when communicating and have no interest in customer service. I wish Home Depot would drop them.
One star is way too much to give this company and I have no clue how Home Depot does business with them. Bought a dishwasher from HD in December, paid for delivery & installation, and still have yet to have my dishwasher installed. Home Delivery is useless. They are rude and can never help you. Home Depot is just as bad all the way to the corporate office which is just as unhelpful as the store. Never will I do business with Home Depot again.
HORRIBLE!! Truck broke down, ok I get that is not preventable, but the customer service was TERRIBLE. I got a VM regarding the situation and was informed to call them back to reschedule another delivery date. I called back as instructed and was on hold for 40 minutes. Called back again and was put on hold again. Called back again their phone service went to hold right away. No one ever answered the phone to take my call so a date could be rescheduled. I will certainly find out who the delivery service before completing an appliance order next time around to research the delivery service. I now see how many other bad complaints this company has. One would think their management would address this to improve their company's service and reputation. The fact that hasn't been done as of yet is really telling of how they are as a company. I had to call home depots installation service which was another bad experience of poor customer service, but finally got a new delivery date. Will see how the delivery goes and how the installation goes... hopefully it'll be a much better experience next time around.
Two times in two years they missed my date for delivery of first my carpet and then my washer/dryer. I had to take off work for the delivery and they are claiming the driver got lost. Then they want to reschedule several weeks later. Why wouldn't they pay a driver overtime to delivery the washer/dryer a day later? Because they don't care about customer service. Avoid them and avoid Home Depot using them for deliveries.
Zero stars. Retarded service, unable to cancel few days prior to delivery date. I was told to deny delivery at time of delivery. Absolutely stupid, I tried to save them time and money by advising ahead but they insisted to deliver so i can tell the driver to turn around.
If there was negative Stars I would give them 100 stars negative. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company. Rudest delivery people who hardly speak English and customer service is non-existing. I had to take so many days off from work and they didn t communicate to Home Depot and Home Depot didn t communicate to them. They literally left a washer dryer in my living room without installing it even though that was what I paid for: delivery and installation.
Terrible Service! I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot and I paid additional for installation. The "technician" was very rude, he was making excuses to not do the job. When finally I convinced him (cost me $20 extra) he started by disconnecting the water pipe without closing first the main control causing a big amount of water run on the floor and damaging downstairs ceiling. A simple job turn to be a big headache for me and the neighbors. Still don't know why Home Depot is working with this terrible company.
The absolute worst service I've ever had! Avoid at all cost. Either they just don't show OR come up with any excuse to leave and not finish the installation. Reading all these reviews, I don't understand how Home Depot still works with this company. Next time, order from Lowes because it's clear HD doesn't value its customers by allowing this to continue for as long as it has!
Here is a breakdown of what happened to me -
1) First scheduled delivery date - got a call during the last 15 mins of delivery window that they could not make it because their truck broke down
2) Second scheduled delivery date - again, got a call during the last 15 mins of delivery window that the truck broke down
3) Third scheduled delivery date - they actually showed up this time. However, they told me I ordered the wrong size dishwasher and would have to cancel the order OR saw (yes... saw) off a piece of my cabinet for the dishwasher to fit. I told them the wood panel was decorative and he could easily remove it with his drill. He refused again and said it would need to be sawed off. I said I didn't want to cancel, but wanted to reschedule. Later that day we borrowed a drill and removed it in less one minute.
4) Fourth scheduled delivery date - They said they can't install unless I turn off the electricity. At first I didn't understand what he was asking, but then realized he meant I had to shut off the power through the circuit box. I showed him where the box was, and he refused to touch anything even though everything was labeled. I took care of it, and went back to my work. While I was on a call they had their office call me to say that they would NOT be able to install the dishwasher because there was an issue with my water valve and they couldn't turn it off. I couldn't believe it. I told them I would go down and grab my building super to help, and she said NO! She said they had already spent too much time at my home already and would have to come back. She was beyond rude. They were there for a total of 15 mins and had done absolutely nothing. I asked to be compensated for the installation and haul away, and I asked them to leave. My Super came by later 5 mins after they left and said the water valve was fine. We had someone else install the dishwasher, and he had no issues whatsoever!
I'm convinced this service is a scam, and they don't know how to install a dishwasher. They're a delivery service pretending to be an installation service. They will come up with any excuse under the sun not to do the installation. I had to wait over a month and half going through the above before realizing that they just don't know how to do it... so I went with another company to install the dishwasher. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Getting a dishwasher installed should not be this complicated and stressful.
Worst company ever, if your buying from Home Depot this is the company that does the installation. They're very unprofessional, I was recheuelde multiple times. When they finally got here after 3 hours after the time frame we were given they couldn't install the appliance because they were unaware on how to deal with the situation. The worst company I've ever had to deal with. Horrible customer experience. Rude and insulting phone operators. The weren't able to make a delivery on time and refused to help. I would never deal with them ever again.
Very badly organized service. We scheduled the delivery of washer/dryer pair through Home Depot, they forgot to bring a certificate of insurance with them (even though this requirement was clearly noted in their work order) and were not allowed to enter the building, . They re-arranged the delivery for a random day the following week without checking with us first, and then called us the day before saying we would have to wait two extra weeks unless we plan to be at home on the day they chose.
I had two missed delivery appointments. The first time they called me up at the end of the delivery window and gave me a made up excuse that the driver got injured and was hospitalized. I said that I needed the kitchen appliances urgently since I had given away all of them to a charity expecting the new ones. They rescheduled it for a week later and this time they never even bothered to call and let me know the status of the delivery, which was that they weren t going to deliver. Now I may have to wait another week. I did not have the delivery guys phone number or any number to speak to a human. All I get were recorded messages. This is the worst service that I have ever dealt with. I would have given them zero star if I could. If you find out that the order company uses this delivery service, then ask them to change it to one that has at least 3 or more stars and not this one.
Experience of ordering appliance from Home Depot were totally nightmare, all because Home Depot partners with this company. First time, they refused to install the dishwasher even though I purchased the installation service for additional $. Second time, no COI for delivery, I had to reschedule and made several calls to get the COI. And the attitude of the delivery guy was terrible! Third time, they made excuse NOT to haul away my old washer and NOT to install (just drop off the delivery at my apartment) though both service were included in my order. Avoid this company at all cost! Home Depot should partner with a professional company for delivery and installation.
I just cancelled my stove delivery from Home Depot. I was supposed to get it delivered today, but got a call this morning from them saying their truck broke down and couldn't deliver until Friday. Home Depot had no idea this was happening. I asked to speak to a manager, but Jose was too chickens**t to even get on the phone with me to give an explanation. He sent an employee to do his job for him. She just yessed me to death and basically said it was my problem. Just an insane way to do business. Do not order appliances from Home Depot if they use this company. Everyone should call Home Depot and put the pressure on for them to stop doing business with these guys.
If I could give them a negative star I would. They wanted me to give them a $100 in cash to do what they were suppose to. The fact that home Home Depot hires them says a lot about HD. According to one of the workers, they don't like to move to much after lunch. Terrible company and awful people. Think twice about spending money at HD if they use this company.
HORRIBLE!!! The WORST company I have ever seen. My wife scheduled an oven delivery on May 20, 2017 to our new home. On May 19, 2017, they informed my wife that the delivery would be from 12pm to 4pm on May 20. On May 20, a delivery man called my wife at 10:30am saying they would arrive in 30mins. My wife and I were taking subway and train from old home to new home. We told him the time they would arrive was 1 hour earlier than the time range we were told. The delivery man said he would call us back. He didn't call us back. When we were about to reach our new home, we called the delivery man. He blocked my wife's phone number. Then I used my cellphone to call. He picked up the call. But when we started to talk about the delivery for today, he HUNG UP my call. Then I called him again. He blocked my call. So we called their customer service. Their customer service put us on hold for half an hour without solving our issue. I would say whenever there is any large item delivery and installation, DON'T go to Home Depot as Home Delivery America will give you so much pain.
Worst company, claimed that no one was one home. We day here all day. Still have no Washing machine. Home depot claims will rectify situation. Don't believe them
Used them for a delivery for a client through GE. This company is highly unreliable and unprofessional. If you are an interior designer, GC, or architect do not expect them to follow through with your white glove delivery schedule. They failed to use our health and safety protocol in an immune compromised household and hire any sub with a truck.
Well... I was going to write a bad review and bash them properly. But I see it's not really necessary and it's a well know fact how much they S$$CK! It's a shame I had to cancel a $8000 delivery from Home Depot because of these idiots. Too much to list here; long story short: They don't show up, lie about contacting you, and leave you to fry and die.
Awful!! These guys literally dropped my washer/dryer off of the truck instead of using the lift gate. They refused to install our systems and unwrap the packaging. I installed the systems myself to find them broken from falling off of the truck.
Home Depot ordered a replacement which came dented with a broken screen.
Home Depot ordered another replacement and scheduled delivery. I took off from work to receive a delivery which NEVER came!
These guys just can't get it right. Be sure to ask your Home Depot if they use this company before purchasing. If they do, DEFINITELY look elsewhere.

This is beyond the most unacceptable businesses I've ever had to deal with. Being in sales & service, I deal with a ton. They leave an auto message with inaccurate delivery information and no call back contacts and call it a "Confirmation." Then after calling that number back and being forced to hold for an hour, they cut off my call. I called back, on hold for 60 minutes, dropped again.
Finally I call corporate offices and am given 2 names & emails. That information was also incorrect and no one at HQ will answer my calls. Have I mentioned they haven't even delivered my products yet?

Absolutely the worst possible service I offered to hire my own service and pick it up. So far 3 missed deliveries 1. Their truck broke down 2. The appliance was damaged and had to be returned 3. it was lost in the warehouse. Still waiting and Home Depot where the appliance was purchased from is just as clueless. When you can get though on the phone, which is not often, the people are surly, unhelpful and totally worthless at supplying any information. They have also scheduled a delivery after the time that the building accepted deliveries at night and they refused to change it. 1 star is 1 star more than they deserve. ARRRRGH!

I had a scheduled delivery with Home Depot between 1 and 5pm and they are serviced through Home Delivery America. I gave Home Depot both my home and cell number. Home Delivery America called my cell phone and left a message that I had 10 minutes to call them back or my order would not be delivered. I called back in 6 minutes. Customer service put me on hold to transfer me to dispatch. I waited 33 minutes until someone picked up. She then told me that it was too late, the drivers were released and I missed my 10 minute window. I told her to get them to come back and she said she would call them and call me back and I gave her my home number. She never called back. I then called the main line back waited on hold for 35 minutes and then the call dropped. I kept calling back and finally got a person who transferred me to a manager after 8 minutes and the manager then told me he could only deliver in another two days and when I said I've already waited so long, he HUNG UP ON ME. A manager (a male) hung up on me. I've never seen such poor customer service before from any company.
The delivery of the stove that I bought was scheduled for DECEMBER 11. While the delivery guys were unloading the stove from their truck, they dropped it and broke it. I refused it and they said to call Home Depot to schedule the next delivery. Meanwhile the super already took my old stove out that morning. I called Home Depot nobody cared about anything and the next delivery was scheduled for DECEMBER 20 - 9 DAYS AWAY. Yesterday was the delivery day and NOBODY SHOWED UP, even though the night before I got an automated message that confirmed my appointment. When I called they said that my stove was not in the truck, that they didn t get it on time. What?! I already lost two days of work because of them and I still don t have my stove. It s not even worth it. After a lot of arguments and speaking to representative sent to two supervisors, who DID NOT CARE about anything I was saying, the next delivery date they gave me is for DECEMBER 28 - ANOTHER 8 DAYS. I am thinking of canceling this order and go to PC Richards and try to price match or get some sort of deal possibly and buy it from them. Disgusting company.
Got a phone message that they would be delivering my fridge the next day but they never showed. I had to call them and ask them what was going on and they said they didn't have the fridge yet and would be delivering the next week. No care or concern for customers. You couldn't inform me you weren't coming at all?
When they came the next time showed up 2 hours later than delivery window and also didn't care. Like Home Depot but they should stop using this company for deliveries.
During this Covid pandemic I had to order a small appliance from GE and I received a text from this delivery company giving me a delivery time on my chosen delivery date. They called me a day before delivery and then an hour before the delivery and asked me for any special instructions, considering all the concerns about the virus. They did exactly what I asked them to do. The delivery persons were very professional and punctual and careful. Wearing masks and gloves and staying away.
Horrible experience. They installed a dishwasher which stopped working the same day. They instructed me call Home Depot even though I had not purchased it from there (I have a home warranty ). Then they instructed me to call GE. Ge came and examined it and said the power is connected wrong. I called them back they finally agreed to come back. Then they never showed up.
Totally no-showed delivery of washer and dryer bought through Home Dept. With all these complaints on here, it's amazing that Home Depot uses them. (And most of the positive comments on Google look totally fake!)
This company refused to work with us regarding a delivery from Home Depot. I would not recommend them to deliver anything, not even a can of paint. Their customer service is below standards and I'm unsure why a company like Home Depot would want to work with them. This company was suppose to call us the night before to confirm and never did. They called the morning of the delivery to tell us they were 45 minutes out. Over an hour later, we find out that they tried to enter a military instillation using the wrong gate. There are two big signs indicating truck gate entrances but they still couldn't figure out that they were driving a truck and would need to deliver through the truck gate. After arguing with the driver and dispatch over the phone, we cancelled the delivery all together. I can't be responsible for letting morons onto a military instillation.
They missed delivery. When we called them they said their truck broke, fine but why not let me know? Oh we called but you hung up. Amazing how they come up with stories to cover their incompetence. No call, no voice mail, now have to wait 6 days without dishwasher and microwave since I had already disconnected them in anticipation.
Unbelieveable incompetence. I tried calling them multiple times they leave you on hold and then *CLICK*. I had a problem because my build requires a COI. A certificate of insurance is required by any building to protect them from shipping damage. Their ONE employee that handles COIs works from home (which is fine) but is totally incompetent. She is unreachable except for EMAIL. They said we need XYZ, from you we provide XYZ info, they said they still need Z. Ok.. here's Z. No email reply. No COI but they come 8:30am in the morning to deliver it.
My manager said they do this so they don't to not have to get insurance. He allowed the items to come in since they weren't huge. Turns out one of the items, the refrigerator was completely damaged. Waiting to hear back from them
Terrible service. The notes on the delivery specifically said knock on the door. When they arrived to deliver the appliances, they called the cell phone which I was unable to answer at the time, but never knocked on the door. After a couple calls went unanswered, they just left without even attempting to knock on the door to make the delivery. Once I got the messages and called them back, I went through a series of transfers and long holding times to try and get someone to help, but was ultimately told that there was no way they would come back and that I would have to reschedule, despite the fact that their own notes show that the failure to deliver was their own fault. I called Home Depot who tried to help, but Home Delivery America ultimately still refused to complete the delivery. So I cancelled the entire order, ordered it from Lowes who do their own deliveries. Think twice before you order products from stores that use Home Delivery America, they're not good.
I had a washing machine and dryer and my delivery driver put it right inside. They knew I could not move it and I really appreciate them for that. They went out of their way to help me.

Unbelievable. I've worked in customer service for years, and I understand how difficult it can be, but I make it a commitment to make people feel comfortable. This experience was terrible. First off, the man said he was knocking at my door, waiting for me (which he wasn't) - his team, were idling in the street. There was no arrival time, just the date that they would be delivering. When they got into the house, he was disrespectful. He continued to assert himself aggressively and complain about the difficulty of transferring the machine into the basement, stating it was out of their protocol to lift equipment, or remove a railing from a house, and disregarding their stated policy, they proceeded to lift the equipment over their heads to the basement. Subsequently, they removed the old washer outside, at which time I tipped them, but only after their departure, I realized the mess they had left throughout the house. He had not told me about this mess, he simply had me sign the receipt, and they took the tip with no mention of the mess. I understand that someone may have something going on in their life, or if they had a bad start to their morning, not enough sleep, etc, but this is unacceptable. Will not be using this service ever again.

I ordered a washing machine from Home Depot LIC and was given apt from 3-7 pm and I kept calling and they said the driver is coming to me next and Driver never came or called. Home Depot provided the worst service and Home Delivery of North America is the delivery company and they Don't Care that you took off work, The don come of call. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH APPLIANCE PURCHASE BECAUSE THEY PROVIDE WORST SERVICE
Don't EVER order appliances from any Home Depot store or you will be dealing with waiting for delivery that NEVER comes. Whoever at Home Depot who contracted Home Delivery America seriously need a to be fired. That decision will wind up costing Home Depot some serious loss of business. Home Delivery America is a joke, a complete waste of time. We are cancelling our order with Home Depot and will be purchasing appliances elsewhere. I'd rather pay more than deal with this ridiculous situation for one second more. I will however be reporting Home Delivery America to the BBB. They need to be shut down.
What a disaster of a company! First, they missed the date they were supposed to deliver the washer, dryer & dishwasher I purchased at Home Depot with some bs excuse that their delivery truck broke down at the very last minute (I notice they use that same lame excuse before by other reviews on here). Huge inconvenience for me having taken a day off work and reserving freight elevator in my building. The dispatcher girl that works here has an attitude as if she's got better things to do than offer any level of customer service. Rescheduled my delivery for a full week later, and the 2nd attempt they show up at 5:40pm too late for my building to allow use of the freight elevator. Delivery guy tries to sell me on some bs about there only being 2 haul aways on his order sheet and tells me I can haul my appliances upstairs myself on the passenger elevator if I want. I tell him to call his dispatcher and get me on the next earliest delivery (no way am I doing their work for them especially after I already PAID for delivery, installation & haul away). Dispatcher tells me next soonest delivery is 2 weeks later! Long story short, it took 4 weeks for me to get my appliances delivered and they couldn't even install my dishwasher because they said it was under a kitchen counter. I've never even heard of this. Seems like other reviewers have had the same happen to them based on these reviews. Ridiculous. I have no idea why Home Depot continues to trust Home Delivery America with their appliance delivery when there are so many negative customer experiences out there on these guys! Next time I'm going to Lowe's. Avoid these guys at all costs!
I bought a GE Refrigerator from Home Depot on back order. Item was due to arrive approx 1 month later. I called HDA approx 1 week before scheduled delivery and was told item will arrive Monday 9/28 between 1 and 5pm. I left work early on 9/28 to be home by 1pm. I emptied my freezer and fridge that was scheduled to be removed. I called HDA and was told I was number 18 on the list for delivery and they would call 1 hour before delivery. I reconfirmed my address and phone number with delivery Mgr (or so she said she was) and waited for their arrival. By 8pm I realized no one was coming and worst no one called. First thing the next day i called HDA spoke with spokesperson in delivery and customer care dept. They said delivery people claimed they came to my appt and knocked. That was a bold face lie. She couldn't confirm if they said they called which they didn't. I was rescheduled to have another delivery on Thurs 10/1. On Thursday 10/1 I took off a full day of work because delivery dept couldn't give me a window of arrival. GUESS WHAT?.....ONCE AGAIN NO CALL AND NO SHOW. AT THIS POINT I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS COMPANY IS PATHETIC!
Horrible service!! Thet don t have enough bandwidth To reschedule something it took 1.5 weeks and when it was the delivery date they called to reschedule because of an overload truck Don t buy from Home Depot they don t care!!!
Home Delivery America has been working with us for many years. I only have good things to say about them. They are consistent and deliver to my customers correctly.

Home Delivery is the worst. I got a message saying the guy was outside my house and they trying calling my with no answer. they never called the night before or 30 min before delivery. I had my moms waiting in the house for them whille I ran a errand. I tried calling the Number on my caller ID, got a busy signal, I called the number on the Voicemail and was on hold for about a 1hr. I called the #800 I quest to GE that was given to me with my paperwork at Home Depot and was told I would have to wait another with for my washer and dryer to be delivered. I don't understand if you are out side my house, why wouldn't you ring the door bell if you got no answer when you tried calling which they never did. After reading these review. Ive decided to cancel my order and go to Lowes. Home Depot just lost money because of this company they hired to do their deliveries. Home Depot they are destoring your name
Horrible place! Apparently their trucks break down a lot according to these reviews. I had a delivery window of 12pm-4pm. I received a call at 8:00am stating their truck broke down and would deliver next Friday. I removed my electric stove last night and had a gas line installed for the new gas stove. So, that means I'm without a stove for a week. When I called to ask to speak to a manager I was transferred to his voicemail and it was full. I called back and the receptionist said she would leave a note for him to call me. He never called. I went to the home depot where I ordered my 4 appliances to complain. They then called the delivery company to express my frustration. The delivery company said they could get it to me on Wednesday. I told them that wasn't good enough. I asked where my appliances were so maybe I could go pick them up. They said, "we don't know where the truck is.!" Are you kidding me?? Home depot is going to credit me $53 dollars on a $2500 order. I'm not looking for free stuff here but come on this is the best they can come up with. So I missed a day of work Saturday and now another day during the week. But that's okay I was credited $53. A billion dollar company's solution to a delivery problem at 8 in the morning is to give it's customer 53 bucks. WHAT A JOKE.
Don't know why THE HOME DEPOT gets involved with companies like this. They gave and ETA between 12 & 4 called at 12:03 saying they were there. Got dressed went downstairs and no one was around. I waited for ten minutes but no one was in site. I called their offices and spent about 3 hours trying to get someone to help and I was hung up on numerous times. I finally called the Depot and the called them and the responded but said that the delivery guy waited an hour before he left. ABSOLUTE LIES!!! Long story short I had to rent a truck and get my own merchandise from this so called delivery company. I do not recommend this company to anyone especially HOME DEPOT.
I had a delivery scheduled for 12/4/19 between 4:30 and 8:30pm. At 6:30pm the office personal telephoned me to ask if my delivery had been made, when I stated it had not, she informed me she would contact the team and ask where they were. She promptly called me back and said they were stuck in the snow at their last delivery prior to me, which happens to have been only 3.5 miles from my home. She stated they would be at my home as soon as their vehicle was free. I decided to take the short drive to the street she had stated they were stuck on to see if I could offer any assistance. There was no delivery truck stuck on that street. At 7pm I called and offered to go the location of the truck and pick up my delivery, as there would be no installation anyway, since Im installing myself. The office personal said that would be very helpful, and again stated where the truck was, I informed her I had been on that street and there was no truck there. She said she would contact the truck and have them call me and tell me their exact location. At 8pm I still had no call, no delivery so I went to Home Depot to complain. The manager was very helpful and showed me the notes the office staff had put in the computer. It seems the office staff had been documenting everything that had been going on each time we spoke. The manager even confirmed there had been a delivery on the street they claimed they were stuck on. However, having been there earlier I knew there was no snow they could have been stuck in. After explaining to the manager all that I had been through, including losing a days pay at work to wait for this delivery, he agreed to refund partial cost of my delivery. Just out of curiosity I decided to go to the other delivery site. I spoke to the homeowners and explained why I was there. They were very kind and stated they had their delivery at 5:30, and that the crew had even scoffed and said that they were going to reschedule their last delivery, mine, as it was already 5:30. She confirmed they were never stuck in the snow, they just didn t want to make their last stop. I thanked her and was on my way. This company does not care to do their job, or even be honest with their customers. Its a shame that Home Depot would partner with such an awful company. Even their google reviews are terrible with only a 1.9 rating of 5. Each review is similar stating rude, late, dishonest, uncaring and unhelpful delivery crew and no customer service and support from the office. I will never purchase another appliance from any company that uses this third party disaster of a delivery service. Im going to use my contacts and start a campaign for Home Depot to abandon their partnership with them since, so many customers have had terrible experiences.
Where to begin... These guys scheduled a delivery for a new washing machine and missed it because thier truck broke down. The next day they finally arrived after not being able to find out place and me having to run them down in the street, and began to remove my old unit when it appeared that the gold water valve want shutting off, they immediately gave up and LEFT! They left the new unit in my hallway so I couldn't get around it and instead of letting me call my landlord to find out where the main water shut off valve was they left. So I got to do the installation myself EVEN THOUGH IT WAS PAID FOR. I called the home Depot where we bought the unit as they told me to to them schedule a pickup of the old unit. I was then transferred to GE and then to the same delivery service! To top it all off as if it wasn't bad enough that I had to do all this stuff, they leave me with the old unit in my tiny one bedroom apartment for 9 days!
About these guys like the plague. They are seriously the worst.
Lets just say I gave them a 1 star because I had to in order to post this. Home delivery of America in North Bergen is the worst company and has the worst customer care I have ever dealt with. My husband and I have just purchased a new home and while we are renovating, we have been buying all new things from all companies like best buy, Raymour and Flanigan etc and no other company has treated us as they did. We purchased a Washer & dryer plus all appliances like Samsung Refrigerator, stove and microwave from Home Depot. Even though Home Depot treated us fairly their delivery company treated us as if we didn't spend 5 thousand dollars on these appliances, they treated us as if they were giving away free stuff!! When we were supposed to get our deliveries on July 16 from 10-4 no one showed up in that time frame. Instead they called us at 4 and told us their truck had broken down. We understood the problem because things do go wrong. However, they gave us all the open windows they had so we chose thursday 12-4. They confirmed the time with us that day and told us they would come in between that window. When we wake up the next thursday morning someone calls my husband at 10 am saying that they were outside our purchased home. We kindly told the gentleman that we are just renovating there and we are not living there and also that we had not confirmed for such early hours, we would never do that just because we have not moved in yet and are living 1 our away. The gentleman treated us very nasty and told us he got here early. We asked if he was willing to come back later just because it was not our fault. We did not confirm for those hours ( my husband and I found it strange that they never called the day before like every other company). When he rudely hung up on us we called customer care and explained our issues. Instead of taking care of us they kept us on hold for an hour and not 1 supervisor picked up. Instead we were greeted by another employee who had no idea what was going and told us we were only on hold for 11 minutes. My husband and I were completely surprised at the attitude we received when we did nothing wrong. When I asked for a re schedule they wanted us to wait for an additional week, my husband tried to explain that they made mistakes both times and that neither time was our fault and that we shouldnt be mistreated this way or made to wait another week when nothing was our fault. But they refused and told us that we actually had confirmed through a phone call the day before but when we finally were fed up and said we had phone records and received not 1 phone call that quickly changed their story and said that they never confirmed 9-2 but neither did they confirm 12-4. I told her mam but thats the time you gave us and that is the time we had to go by since no-one called us for a change. They did nothing to resolve our issues and left us in the wind. Not even a manager or super visor agreed to speak with us or give us a more convenient time. All they said is they had high volume of deliveries and we told them but we are customers too and we are important as well. They were very rude and did nothing to help the situation, instead they treated us like we were crazy and made the entire situation up. It was disgusting and appalling to be treated in such a way when we paid so much money for all of our appliances. I will most definitely be calling the Better Business Bureau and filing a heavy complaint
On the third attempt, Home Delivery America still couldn't correctly install a dishwasher. The second time was most infuriating: the installer complained about the lighting to do the job, then outright lied and said dishwashers weren't hardwired anymore. On the third try, it appeared they had finally succeeded. But when I went to pull down the door for the machine's first use, it caught the kick plate -- bending the plate, and preventing the full opening of the door. When I called to complain, they left me on hold for nearly an hour, during which time I called Home Depot to get some semblance of satisfaction. Home Depot had a manager call s manager of this company, and quickly got through. So I wasn't "on hold" -- I was "on ignore."
Home Depot-- pls don't work with this terrible company. Pls don't. I ordered a dishwasher and paid for installation. When the delivery guy showed up, he immediately stated he is only delivering the dishwasher and not installing. He went on to say it's because I have not paid for installation and either way, he doesn't have time to install today. I showed him the receipt from Home Depot clearly stating installation is paid for. Then, he proceeded to make another excuse claiming the water valve was not turning and therefore, a plumber has to be called and that again, he could not install. Meanwhile, my husband showed him that the valve is turning and is no way corroded. The delivery guy was rude, full of excuses and is a lost cause. So we did not accept the delivery. There is no point as it wasn't going to be installed. Calling them is a hassle as well. They put you on hold for a long time. Even when the store is calling for you. Please Home Depot.. work with another company for home delivery and installation of appliances. For my next appliance purchase, my first question would be is if they use Home Delivery of America. If that is the case, I am purchasing elsewhere to save some trouble and inconvenience.
This company does not deserve 1 star. No other options. If Home Depot continues to use this company they will continue to lose business. Worst customer service on the planet, and drivers who don t call and don t show up. I will make sure in my future appliance purchases I ask who the delivery company is. If it is this company I will not make the purchase.
Ordered a dryer and paid for installation and haul away of old appliance. They just delivered the dryer and said they cannot install or haul away the old dryer. Would avoid them at all costs. Home Depot should stop working with these guys.
Edit: Ordered a dishwasher from them and they had the same issue again. Something about company policy to not install dishwashers with plastic valves. Couldn't they have mentioned that at the time of order? The unfortunate thing is that you, as a customer, does not choose them. They're assigned to you automatically by Home Depot, so there's not much you can do about it. 100% would not recommend to anyone.
I wish I could give i stars. I had Home Delivery America come out to my home to install an Appliance product that I purchased from Home Depot. When I purchased the product I had purchased it with full installation, parts and hardware, and a take away fee of the old appliance. The installation/Delivery personnel did not install the product, bring it in the home, or take the old appliance from my house. They came up with an excuse that there was no shut off valve for the natural gas. In fact there was a shut off valve below the stove in the basement. The valve was not hidden, damaged, or being blocked by anything. The installation was not done, nor did the company that was suppose to install want to come back out to finish the installation. With that being said, I had to contact a different company to come to my residence to install the product. Additionally, Home Depot, and GE were not the issue and in fact, Home Depot refunded me my money for the parts, install, and take away fee. I would also like to state that this is not an issue that is rare. Installation companies like so, do this a lot.
This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I will never order from Home Depot again because of how poorly I've been treated. My fridge came and they waited half an hour for me to get home before leaving. I've spoke to 5 people, been hung up on, and now I've been on hold for 26 minutes. Home Depot put me on hold after I tried to cancel the order. I am absolutely at my wits end. If you want a smooth ordering process, never use Home Depot or a company that uses Home Delivery America.
Garbage delivery company expected a range on Saturday between 12 pm to 4 pm.I call them at 3 pm after holding for 1 hr the operator could not find the truck they left a message at 5 pm saying they are not going to make the delivery.I am suing Home depot for the plumber fees for disconnecting and reconnecting my old range .
Costco needs to get rid of using these people. Completely delayed and made up information about my installing and removing my fridge. Terrible company.
Horrible company , suppose to deliver 3 appliances but they never pulled the refrigerator off the truck . I called their company and got hung up on 5x and placed on hold for over an hour. Jennifer is the representative who kept knowingly hanging up the phone. Home depot will not get my future business due to their relation with this company.
The worst delivery experience I've ever had in my life. You bet I reported them to the BBB. You should do the same. Extremely rude staff, late delivery, won't provide documentation. Avoid at all costs, tell Home Depot you refuse to use this company. Make sure to report them to the BBB, their incompetence cost me hundreds of dollars of fines. Never, I repeat, never use Home Del America for anything.
Worse company ever, very inresponsible... I was expecting my delivery 3 days ago and they never even call me to tell me the reason why they didn't show up... I call the company and they still no giving me any reason abt the delay or the next schedule delivery... ppl get another company, they are very unreliable..
Wish to give NEGATIVE rate. Ordered washer and dryer from Home depot on Nov.2018. Finally installed on end of Dec. after 4 attempts. We lived without having washer and dryer for 1 month and I needed to stay home from my work for 4 days. I understand all bad reviews because I went through. I can't even write all in details how stressful these purchase and install. I would not use Home depot as long as they use this horrible unprofessional irresponsible delivery company. I had to call 10 times to be connected and then they hung up. Called herself as supervisor Jen has terrible attitude when I called this Home Delivery America at North Bergen, NJ on 12/28/18 to see whether they come or not on 4th attempt delivery date. She said they don't have my account at all and she was waiting until I started to talk and she's yelling at me at the same time I talked for 4 times. She is horrible. WORST supervisor and company EVER. It's unbelievable nightmare for our family from Thanksgiving week to the end of year. They ruined our families holiday season. Stay far away from all these horrible nonsense.
I can't speak to anyone else's experience but the three men who installed my new stove (half an hour ago) were very friendly and very professional. They called me once about 45 minutes before delivery and then when they were about 10 minutes away. They were very careful to make sure nothing was damaged during removal of my old stove as well as install.
Terrible team and terrible service. NEVER USE THEM. Even their managers and supervisors. Spoke to two people on the phone. They yelled at me on the phone. She told the team to leave. They left without even letting me sign that I received the dryer.
