Holzhauer Motors Ltd Review

I've not purchased a car from Holzhauer specifically, but I have been friends with and purchased cars from Shane S. for many years and I can say that my experiences have always been top notch! Never anything unexpected, he has always made the transactions as quick & painless as possible, and soft on the eyes too :-D

A gratlace to shop while getting maintance work done

I would recommend Holzhauer Motors for your next car purchasing experience. We worked out a lot of our details by phone and then drove 250 miles to finalize the purchase. The deal was that good! We worked with Andy in sales. He was very accommodating and made sure to answer all our questions. I can't say enough good things about this dealership.

Test-drove a SUV from here. Wasn't the color we wanted, so we went elsewhere. Seemed like nice people, tho.

We had an issue with a repair. I take my van in for a leaky sunroof. Very common Chrysler problem with ongoing lawsuits for this issue. I was charged $107 for them to tell me what I already knew (it was jammed and leaking) They stated headliner needed to be removed and the sunroof removed to even diagnose the problem. Headliner liner removal is estimated a 4 to 5 hour job. Which labor runs $65 an hour I believe.. I then contacted the dealer I recently purchased the van from. I was told to bring it in. I drove 2.5 hours one way to do that. I was hoping to avoid that when I went to Holzhauer. I take it back to the purchasing dealer who fixed the issue in about an hour for free without removing the headliner or the sunroof. Strange that the GM dealer I bought it from could fix it but the Chrysler dealer couldn't fix a Chrysler problem. Normally I love Holzhauer's but this definitely left me unhappy

Great place with even better service. From buying a vehicle to people who meet by accident in the body shop. They do a great job of taking care of you.

I can't speak to the sales side of the house, but, the service folks are awesome. They've never played games with me, and they have always taken care of my wife and I.

Had some transmission problems after driving my truck from Texas. Nicholas and the rest of the Holzhauers crew gave me honest, timely, and fair service. Thanks guys.

I can't really say enough about Andy the salesman that helped me. I literally flew across the country to purchase this truck. Not only did Andy have me picked up from the airport from his father-in-law, but he got me to my hotel and picked me up in the morning to take me to the dealership in the morning. I know of no other dealership or salesman that would go that far for a customer. This just shows the good midwest people will go out of their way to help someone. You can use me as a reference forever!!. I will always check with these guys whenever I need a future car, even though I live in Las Vegas and went to Iowa for this truck! Thanks again Andy you're the best guy ever! .

I can't say enough about the effort that Andy and Kyle put together to make this deal. I went from a retired guy with nothing but time, just kicking tires, to a satisfied customer taking a sweet ride home to Mama. I'm a long-time customer, but never felt taken for granted!

Service is lacking. An oil change was done on my vehicle that wasn't needed. Had it done a month ago. An air filter that was overdue was finally changed, why it wasn't replaced at original oil change is unknown. Marker light on drivers side front was suppose to be fixed but wasn't & now blinker doesn't work.

This place is horrible!! Worst service i have ever had in my life!! Got a truck from there just the other day, oil, air filter, and other fluids were not changed, and some were reset so it looked it like it was changed but wasn't. Truck wasnt cleaned out or washed, smelled like cigarettes really really bad. They tried lying to us saying it was never smoked in, when clearly you can tell. Truck was returned this morning and they were told night before, and they had the cops present. What losers. Also spread the word already on how bad this place is, alot of people will never go there or even bother looking at the website. Nothing but worthless retards working here.

Our salesman Andy and the staff went above and beyond finding and explaining our entire purchase from start to finish. Made our experience enjoyable, efficient and effortless. Would go back and again! Thanks!

We recently purchased two new Sea-Doos and a Smokey Mountain Edition Jeep through salesman Roger Graham. We could not be happier with the professionalism, the service and most of all the price! Roger has total command of the subject matter and it was a welcome change from the other dealers that we contacted prior to making our purchases. These guys went above and beyond to make sure I had a great car buying experience. The salesperson Jo is great! She was very helpful, responded quickly to my questions and really seemed like she just wanted to make sure I was happy about my purchase. She s awesome and I can t thank her enough for all her help and hard work. I would definitely recommend this place, plus the vehicle and price were great too!

Bought an Edge that broke the very next day. Took it back and they patched it up and it broke few days later. They ended up paying for repairs at my home town dealer in Missouri. Would not trust this dealer at all.

I was told they would look at my truck on Tuesday they didn't even look at it till the following day. They told me it would be completed by Monday, it's now Thursday of the following week and I still don't have my truck. They didn't offer me a loaner car or anything during this period and they won't return my phone calls like they say they will. I had to keep calling and harassing them to get any information about my vehicle. I've needed a vehicle now for OVER a week and still don't have it. I will not do service with this company again. This is beyond ridiculous.

Update: they finally gave me a vehicle to drive after telling me there was going to be another delay on their part and I demanded they give me a loaner car, cause they still don't have my truck done, they are now telling me it's going to be next week sometime? What ever day that means, that my truck will be done cause they forgot to put parts on the order list twice now.
The loaner car they gave me had no dash lights at all. We were driving to our vacation spot when it started to get dark is how i figured this out. We had to turn around, there is no way to get to our destination without night driving and still make it in time. I'm beyond hot at this point. Driving home out on the highway with my kid in the car not being able to see your speed or anything on your dash is not safe at all.

Update: went out there to exchange the vehicle because it can not be driven at night. Had to wait there for over hour and half, almost 2 hours instead of going on our vacation like we were supposed to be able to do, so that they could try to figure out what to do about the vehicle having no dash lights, instead of them giving us a different vehicle to drive so that we could go on our vacation. We had to turn back last night to begin with because of them. I had to take this vehicle to begin with because they could not order the parts they needed to when they needed to and then kept forgetting to put parts on the list. Don't take a job you can't handle.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I will not return to this business

Dan is over and above what any dealer I have ever had contact or dealings with, plus he has a really fast GTO. He helped me get a vintage car and he did not even own it, went to look at it for me in Iowa because I live in Wyoming even brought his body man to inspect it for me. No one does that. So I am sure that if he took his time and efforts for me I can not imagine the customer service he gives to actual customers at his store. Thank You so much. Mike

Have taken my vehicle here multiple times! Kory at the North location and Nick at the south location are always really helpful and friendly!

Called for an appointment on Thursday for Monday. Stopped to drop off my car on Saturday. They did not have an appointment on Monday, so whoever took my call didn't write it down. In all fairness I have had my car serviced there for some time and this was the first time that something like this has happened. They do a good job at a fair price and I will continue to have them service my cars.

Brought my vehicle here for service and they did fine on that but on my paper I got from them they had all green Mark's for every thing but my breaks are making a grinding noise and it never got mentioned to me at all
